This place is used as the breakfast venue. I ordered Sweet and Sour Pork (1000 yen) with a Rice Set (300 yen). The rice, soup, and pickled vegetables were not bad, but the texture of the meat in the sweet and sour pork was a bit strange. I could tell the difference between the meat and fatty parts, but there was another texture that I couldn't quite identify. I think it was supposed to be the meat part, but it felt more like just the coating. Hmm... I'm not sure, but it was okay. The yakisoba with sauce that I had before was delicious, so I believe this place is good for Chinese food, but maybe sweet and sour pork is not for me. I'll try a different menu next time. Last year, I stayed at North City for multiple nights using the "Sapporo Winter Discount" and utilized the restaurant as the breakfast venue. On this particular day, I checked out of another nearby hotel at 12:00 and arrived at North City to check in. While waiting, I stored my luggage at the front desk, which had free coin lockers for guests. Feeling hungry, I decided to have lunch at this restaurant before heading out for some shopping in the city until check-in time. I ordered the "Gomoku Ankake Yakisoba" for 1000 yen, which included ingredients such as pork, shrimp, squid, scallops, Chinese cabbage, wood ear mushrooms, and greens. It was very delicious and one of the best ankake yakisoba dishes I've had. I also ordered orange juice for an additional 100 yen. After lunch, I went to Mitsukoshi to see the "Iwago Mitsuaki's Japanese Cat Walk" photo exhibition and bought a bento for dinner before returning to the hotel. The "Autumn Taste Fair" offers all-you-can-eat and drink for 2,900 yen (90 minutes, minimum of 2 people). There are 30 dishes available with a table buffet system. I pre-ordered 3 dishes when making a reservation (to be served quickly). These include Chicken and Onsen Tamago Salad, Grilled Sausage and Cheese Potato, and Deep-fried Young Chicken. After finishing these, we ordered dishes like Diced Steak with Mushroom Sauce, Pork and Mushroom Oyster Sauce Stir-fry, Caprese with Mozzarella Cheese and Tomato, and Curry-flavored Yakisoba. I also ordered Salmon Carpaccio with Wasabi Sauce and Crispy Cheese Fritters. I could only eat 9 out of the 30 dishes. It's hard to eat a variety without Tomoko-san. This is a restaurant located on the first floor of Hotel North City. In this area, there are very few places to eat, making it difficult to find lunch options. However, this restaurant offers a variety of lunch options starting from around 700 yen on weekdays, and even has a 500 yen menu on weekends, which is quite surprising. I visited on a weekend for a working lunch and ordered the an-kake (sauce-covered) rice. You can get a large portion of rice for an additional 105 yen. It wasn't incredibly delicious, but it was tasty enough. The lunch also comes with complimentary coffee, which is a great deal. The menu seems to be relatively fixed for lunch, but it's worth visiting occasionally to enjoy different dishes.

Today, I came by car, so I parked in the underground parking lot. Since my car is tall, I couldn't use valet parking, so I parked on the ramp. I left my key, got a stamp, and received a paper saying to press the stamp. I took the elevator to the first floor and when I exited, I saw the restaurant. I wanted to take a photo of the exterior, so I went outside and got a bit tired from the heat. There are samples in front of the restaurant, all priced at 700 yen each, and it seems that a coffee is included after the meal. I was torn between the An-kake Yakisoba and the fried food, but I ended up wanting something fried. When I entered, the waiter said "Here you go," but I wondered if it was okay to take the corner L-shaped seat alone. It was just before noon, but it was already very crowded. The soldiers seemed to be collapsing from the heat and exhaustion (they accidentally got caught in the photo I took inside). The waiter and waitresses had lovely smiles. The food for the previous customers took a while to arrive, which might be frustrating for some people at lunchtime. The Jumbo Chicken Cutlet brought by two waitresses was served with rice, soup, Napolitan, salad, potato salad, tonkatsu sauce, and seaweed soup. The soup was a bit thin, I wished it had more salt. After finishing the meal, the dishes were promptly cleared, and I received a coffee coaster. The moderate amount of coffee made me feel refreshed after the meal. I thanked them and returned to Tomuka. On my way out, I saw a wall with photos of noodles pasted on it! I really wanted to try the tantanmen! I panicked when I realized I didn't have the key! Upon entering, you'll notice many table seats available. I was seated at a vacant table by the hall staff. The lunch menu offers a choice of Japanese, Western, or Chinese cuisine. I ordered the top item on the Japanese menu, the "Tokachi Shark Flounder Simmered and Tuna Sashimi Set." It arrived in about 5 minutes. The main dish of simmered flounder was slightly warm, well-cooked, and very tender. The bones were also soft, but I still removed them while eating. The broth was flavorful and went well with the rice. The tuna sashimi was served with a little soy sauce. There were 5-6 bite-sized pieces of tuna. Adding wasabi provided a nice touch and enhanced the flavor. The set also came with a small side dish and pickles. For dessert, there were red and white sweet rice dumplings with azuki beans. The "Tokachi Shark Flounder Simmered and Tuna Sashimi Set" was priced at 1,200 yen including tax, and the drink bar was an additional 100 yen.
