On this Sunday, I visited the restaurant after making a reservation in advance. The restaurant was only open for customers with reservations.
- Appetizer: Simmered dish
- Sashimi assortment: Matsumae tuna, sweet shrimp, Takko octopus, Aomori salmon, Shiriuchi flounder, scallops, Kikonai sea urchin, abalone
- Assorted skewers: Pork, chicken, meatballs, chicken neck
- Crispy grilled chicken skin (recommended)
- Chicken sashimi with ponzu sauce
- Fried chicken
- Natto omelette
- Homemade cod roe tempura
- Stone-grilled salted fish eggs
Everything was delicious. Each abalone was a piece of happiness. The homemade cod roe tempura was amazingly good. The natto omelette with bonito flakes was a surprising combination. And the stone-grilled salted fish eggs were a revelation! It reminded me of the old days when I used to grill salted fish eggs on aluminum foil over a stove. (July 2022)

I often use this restaurant as it is near my house. The best thing about this place is that they offer all-you-can-drink service. While it's common for banquet courses to include all-you-can-drink, it's rare for regular use, so it's a delight for drinkers! There are two types of courses, one for 1000 yen and the other for 1500 yen, with the difference being the presence of draft beer. The 1000 yen option offers Clear Asahi instead of draft beer. I usually go for the 1000 yen option. I prefer draft beer, but Clear Asahi is also delicious. Besides beer, you can also enjoy sours, and the time limit is 90 minutes. The dishes include a variety of skewers, seafood, rice dishes, all reasonably priced. I often order fried rice, which is cheap, generous in portion, and tasty. Among the dishes I ordered this time, the saury, which I believe was from Kushiro, was incredibly flavorful with its rich oil content. They also offer lunch, and the double bowl seems to be quite filling. Overall, I think it offers good value for money. Having such a restaurant nearby is very convenient.

I found out that they also serve lunch, so I decided to go try it out. It's rare to find a restaurant that serves lunch at an izakaya, so I was grateful. They offered a lunch special called the "W-Donburi," so I decided to give it a try! I chose the beef bowl and the pork cutlet bowl, which cost 790 yen in total. The food was served on a unique divided plate. The portions were quite generous. The beef was nicely grilled and the pork cutlet bowl was seasoned just right, making it delicious until the last bite. The lunch here is very filling, so make sure to come with a good appetite!
