On the first night of my Niseko trip, our second stop was Bar Gyu+. When you open the door of the old refrigerator buried in snow, you'll find a bar inside. The bartender makes great drinks and the music is good too. It was crowded, had to wait about 10 minutes. Mostly foreigners, as expected. We walked from Odin to here through Hirafu, and even though it's a weekday, the town was bustling like a festival. Enjoyed a delicious Northern Gin and Tonic here. Niseko nights are just getting started. #BarGyu+ #Gyutus #BarGyutus #NisekoBar #Niseko #Hokkaido #HokkaidoBar #Hirafu #niseko #hirafu #nisekobar #bar

I went on New Year's Eve, and luckily it wasn't too crowded, so we were able to get a table for four right away. The seating isn't spacious and the tables are small, but it's a good bar for just having drinks. The cocktails were delicious, and the view from the counter seats was really beautiful!

I visited "BarGyu+" in Niseko, which has also been featured on the cover of "dancyu" magazine! The entrance is like something out of a fairy tale, with a Coca-Cola vending machine as the door. The interior of the restaurant is lovely, with two floors to explore. Once again, we were the only Japanese customers, with friendly staff to assist us. The hot buttered rum Margarita and hot apple pie cocktail were delicious. I think I'm hooked on the buttered rum! Overall, I spent around 2,000 yen per person and would definitely love to visit again!

It's difficult to find this place as it's away from the main street. Once inside, it's crowded with people and most of them are Australians, making it feel like you're in a foreign country. They offer unique cocktails like apple pie flavor and yuzu shandy, all of which were delicious!

A friend recommended a shot bar in Niseko to me. It's located about 100 meters from the Niseko intersection, where the foot traffic starts to thin out. It's quite a challenge for a person from Kobe to walk 100 meters on the snow. The small entrance, almost buried in snow, leads to a warm and lively atmosphere inside. Typically, you would expect a bar to be filled with cigarette smoke, but this place targets foreigners and is smoke-free. I ordered the forbidden drink, absinthe, feeling nostalgic and overwhelmed by the atmosphere. The owner is a Japanese man, and his wife is an Australian woman he met at the bar. So, they speak Japanese. If you want to enjoy Niseko's nightlife, be sure to check this place out!
