The restaurant "Jinanbo" specializes in monjayaki, where you typically cook it yourself. However, since none of our family had made it before, we asked a female staff member for help, and she kindly agreed. We tried about three different types, and they were all delicious! Unfortunately, the male staff member seemed a bit busy, and his attention to us was lacking, which was disappointing. The restaurant didn’t provide any information about the rules either.

I recommend the mentai cheese mochi monja, which I believe ranked among the top dishes. I visited for lunch, and since there's a one-drink requirement, you'll need to place an order. Soft drinks are reasonably priced at around 200 to 300 yen. The anko (sweet red bean paste) roll is made fresh and brought to your table.

I visited with a friend from outside the prefecture. The Kaminarimon location is behind a McDonald's, after passing through the shopping street. We arrived at 11 AM, so there were no other customers, and it was quiet, but by around 12 PM, it was full and very lively.
We ordered the "Grilled Butter Octopus, Squid, and Enoki Mushrooms." The octopus was tender and very delicious. After grilling it with butter, adding a little soy sauce created an amazing aroma! It paired perfectly with beer.
Next was the "Spicy Cod Roe Cheese Monjayaki" on the hot plate! When you say monjayaki, you think of this. My friend, who had their first monjayaki experience, was delighted and said it was tasty!
We also tried the "Whole Tomato Curry Cheese Monjayaki." As the name suggests, it had a whole tomato! The acidity matched well with the curry, and the cheese added to its deliciousness! We topped it with Baby Star (a type of crispy noodle snack).
Lastly, we ordered the "Beef Tendon Monjayaki," which was the best of all. It had lots of gooey beef tendon. We enjoyed beer and mojitos; however, the mojito was a bit disappointing... it lacked flavor and the aroma of lime. I probably wouldn’t order it again.
Since the grilled dishes are self-service, it’s best to go with someone experienced. The staff cooked the first plate, but from the second plate onward, there was a charge for the paper used. Hope this helps!

After visiting Senso-ji Temple, I stopped by! There were so many toppings to choose from, so I added 9 different toppings to my plain monjayaki! It was extremely delicious! The staff were very friendly and made my dish with a smile, even with so many toppings. Thank you very much!

I had a mixed platter of butter-grilled dishes, kimchi monjayaki, and avocado cheese monjayaki. After visiting the Skytree, I wandered around, but everywhere inside was crowded, so I moved to Asakusa. In the evening, the restaurants were less busy than during the day, so I was able to enter one without any wait. I enjoyed a good meal at a reasonable price and felt full. I think the total cost might change depending on how many drinks you order. I'm not very fond of noisy places, so I appreciated being able to eat in a calm environment. It might have been nice being there on a weekday at this time of year. There were all-you-can-eat options on the menu, so for those who can eat a lot, it would be better to go for that to get more value.

We had two types of monjayaki, two types of okonomiyaki, grilled chicken neck, and grilled caprese, and everything was delicious. The location isn't bad, but it was pretty empty. Oh, maybe it's because it's the beginning of the week. (´・ω・`) Many places in Asakusa are closed on Tuesdays, so be careful. Thank you for the meal! (*゚∀゚)

The prices were affordable, and there were many items on the menu, which made it fun. However, many of the items listed were sold out, which was disappointing. The staff's service was good. I was really happy to be able to eat monjayaki in Asakusa after a long time!

I went to the Sumida River Fireworks Festival, but when it started to rain, I took shelter and entered this restaurant. I had beef tendon monja and okonomiyaki. The beef tendon monja was very delicious with a nice touch of pickled ginger. The okonomiyaki was also tasty. It's not something I can easily make at home, so it was truly wonderful.

Incredible cost-performance! So delicious!! For a girls' night out, there's an unbeatable deal of 2,300 yen for all-you-can-eat plus 500 yen for all-you-can-drink! With such amazing taste at this price! You can also enjoy toppings for just 70 yen! From now on, when it comes to okonomiyaki and monjayaki, this will be the place I go to! The food comes out quickly, too!

I recently visited Asakusa and had a great time exploring Hanayashiki and doing some food tasting. After that, I went to a monjayaki restaurant. We tried various dishes, including mentaiko monja, tonkotsu monja, an interesting tea-zu-ke monja (although I don't have a photo of that), and kimchi okonomiyaki. Everything was delicious, but I especially recommend the tonkotsu monja; it was like eating ramen! The tea-zu-ke monja was also unique, with rice included, offering a new experience! #AsakusaGourmet #Monjayaki #Tonkotsu #Kaminarimon

I went to Asakusa for work, and my colleague suggested we try monjayaki, so I visited this nearby restaurant. When we sat at the table, it said we had to order one drink, and there was a note about unlimited mayonnaise for 50 yen. I didn't really understand what that meant, but I ordered a drink along with mentai cheese monjayaki and a pork okonomiyaki. After waiting for a while, I finally understood. The okonomiyaki only came with sauce, and when I asked the staff about mayonnaise, they said it would cost 50 yen. Also, a second cooking lesson for making monjayaki would be 100 yen. We didn't ask for any lessons at all (laughs). It was my first time discovering a place that doesn't provide mayonnaise. If anyone asks about okonomiyaki or monjayaki in Asakusa, I probably wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It felt very much like they were trying to extract money from tourists. Thank you for the meal!

Kōbaiya is a monjayaki restaurant with many locations in Asakusa. When we visited Asakusa, we decided to have monjayaki for our meal, so we chose this new place. We ordered avocado cheese monjayaki, three cheese monjayaki, mentaiko cheese mochi monjayaki, ume-tako monjayaki, carbonara monjayaki, and Baby Star monjayaki. The toppings were varied, and the drinks, like the角ハイボール (Kaku Highball), paired perfectly with the monjayaki. Everything was delicious! However, we were told it was last call for orders, and when our last monjayaki arrived, they asked for payment first while we still needed to cook it. It felt a bit rushed after that, and I think it would be better if last orders were announced a bit earlier.

This was my first time visiting the restaurant, and I was able to eat a lot, so the cost performance was good. However, the cabbage in the initial monjayaki I ordered was really dry! You could tell just by looking at it that there was no moisture, and it was disappointing. I wonder if it was because it was an all-you-can-eat option. Maybe at the main store, it wouldn't have been like this... The ordering was done by writing on paper, but I was slightly scolded for having big handwriting. If they were going to say it so sternly, they could have explained it beforehand. They just said to write on this paper. Overall, it left me feeling a bit down.

During my visit to Asakusa, I went for lunch and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, filling me up nicely. I enjoyed alternating between monjayaki and okonomiyaki, and everything I tried was tasty. The atmosphere was bright and cheerful, and I definitely plan to return during my next trip to Asakusa.

During last night's New Year's party with friends, I enjoyed a 2-hour all-you-can-drink course for ¥3,800. The menu included edamame, grilled scallops and shrimp, pork okonomiyaki, and mentaiko cheese monja. Plus, we could choose one of each from the okonomiyaki and monja sections. We finished off with some yakisoba. I was completely stuffed! Haha! The cost-performance ratio was truly amazing...

There are many different types, and they were delicious! The one with cheese on top was especially tasty. I came here again with a friend who traveled from Kyoto. Since there are several locations in the chain, there were plenty of options, and everything tasted great!

Located just a 5-minute walk from Asakusa Station, "Asakusa Monja Koumiya Kaminariten" offers a wide variety of monjayaki, making it difficult to choose. I recently visited this restaurant, which has moved to a new location, with some colleagues from work. They have all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink options, along with unique variations to enjoy! They also serve grilled dishes and hormone (offal) barbecue, making it versatile for different dining needs, including student sets. Of course, all the food was delicious! This time, we ordered the most popular monjayaki and okonomiyaki, and also added a beef tendon okonomiyaki. I ended up eating too much! This is a hidden gem for monjayaki in Asakusa, and I highly recommend it!

The other day, I visited "Komiyas Kaminari-mon," located just about 5 minutes from Asakusa Station! It seems to be a restaurant that has appeared on TV, and I've heard that it relocated and reopened. They offer over 30 unique varieties of monjayaki, and you can create your own original monjayaki with dozens of toppings. Additionally, they have all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink courses available, making it perfect for year-end parties, girls' nights out, and gatherings. It seems you can also reserve the whole place for private events! You can enjoy okonomiyaki and teppanyaki as well, so if you're visiting Asakusa, be sure to savor the unique monjayaki at "Komiyas Kaminari-mon"!

You can enjoy a course meal with all-you-can-drink at this long-established monjayaki restaurant! My favorite monjayaki place in Asakusa is Koumiya. It's also a good idea to order à la carte for the second round, while the first round can be a course meal. The menu includes seafood, meat, okonomiyaki, monjayaki, and yakisoba. You can choose between okonomiyaki and monjayaki! Since the price is uniform, it makes settling the bill very easy. Thank you for the meal!

In the Kansai region, there are not many places to eat, so when I go to Tokyo, I really want to try the delicious mentaiko (spicy cod roe) mochi with cheese topped with Baby Star ramen. It's so good!
