Right after exiting the A4 exit of Asakusa Station, it's conveniently located near Kaminarimon, which is great. The interior is designed for inbound tourists, with decorations like cherry blossoms that make it feel distinctly Japanese, likely pleasing for international guests. On the day I visited, most of the customers were from overseas. Now, let me tell you about the new lunch menu I tried! Instead of the usual tempura rice bowl, the rice and tempura were served separately. I was encouraged to assemble it as I liked, which was a refreshing and fun approach. The tempura is reportedly made with a rice flour batter, making it gluten-free. The light coating results in a crispy texture, which feels less guilty. The Wagyu tempura is made from A5 grade marbled beef, combining a light crunchy batter with the perfect tenderness of rare Wagyu sirloin. The variety of vegetables, including pumpkin, maitake mushrooms, sweet potatoes, and eggplant, was also satisfying! To finish, I added the leftover meat and tempura on top of my rice, pouring in some broth for a delicious ochazuke-style dish. I appreciate the versatility of enjoying it in different ways, similar to hitsumabushi. Oh, and if you find the rice insufficient, they will gladly refill it. I enjoyed a tempura rice bowl where you can customize the toppings to your liking. After finishing, I could get a refill of rice and received dashi broth to make it into a delicious ochazuke (tea rice). It was incredibly tasty! The tempura was super crispy, made with rice flour, and wasn't greasy at all! I could easily devour it all! ✨️

It seems that 90% of the customers are foreigners, but on the day I visited, there were many Japanese guests, and the place was fully booked. Since it has been renovated, the interior is very beautiful. I enjoyed a course meal that included meat sushi, freshly fried tempura with vegetables and Wagyu sirloin, egg over rice, and dessert. Everything was so delicious that it was over in no time! Each dish came with a detailed explanation, allowing us to savor the flavors. In addition to the taste of the food, the performance of the smoke, the toast, and the fact that there are only counter seats made it easy to enjoy conversations with the staff. I felt the spirit of hospitality, and it definitely made me want to visit again.

I recently visited "Tempura Asakusa SAKURA," which aims to offer the best Japanese dining experience to people all over the world. Opened in April 2024, it has already received a high rating of 4.9 on Google Maps! ✨ - The restaurant is conveniently located right in front of Exit A4 of Asakusa Station and just a 1-2 minute walk from Senso-ji Temple. - The staff can communicate in both Japanese and English, making it perfect for hosting international guests! - All dishes, including the tempura, are gluten-free as they do not use wheat flour, so those who usually avoid tempura can enjoy it without worry. ✨ Here’s what I ordered: **Luxury Tempura Bowl with Wagyu Sirloin** - 3,800 yen This dish allows you to enjoy tender, high-quality Wagyu sirloin along with crispy tempura—truly a luxurious experience! You can eat it as is or start by adding the tempura to the rice for a tempura bowl. To finish off, I topped the rice with the sirloin and drizzled it with dashi to enjoy it as ochazuke (rice with tea). With various ways to enjoy it, it remained delicious until the very end. I highly recommend stopping by if you're sightseeing in Asakusa!

I had a meal at "Tempura Asakusa SAKURA," a restaurant in Asakusa, Tokyo, that is famous for its A5 wagyu tempura. The interior is beautifully decorated with cherry blossoms, creating a peaceful atmosphere reminiscent of hanami (flower viewing). This time, I tried the luxurious tempura rice bowl featuring halal wagyu sirloin, and it was my first experience with wagyu tempura. The tempura made from the highest quality wagyu, fried with rice flour, was full of umami and exceptionally delicious—crispy yet melt-in-your-mouth tender, offering a new culinary discovery. I enjoyed it without getting bored as I could savor it in three different ways: with sauce, condiments, and as ochazuke (tea over rice). It paired excellently with sake as well, making the tempura dish truly delightful. The restaurant accommodates halal diets, gluten-free options, and allergy-friendly meals, allowing foreign visitors or those with allergies to enjoy their meals without concern. The deliciousness of the wagyu tempura left me fully satisfied! The owner and staff were also very kind and attentive. Thank you for the wonderful experience. This restaurant offers a unique and enjoyable dining atmosphere, so if you visit Asakusa, I highly recommend giving it a try! @tempura_asakusa #TempuraAsakusaSAKURA #tokyohalal #tokyohalalfood #halaltokyo #halalfoodjapan #Muslimfriendly #hafoodintokyo #halaltempura

I previously went to a tempura restaurant where I enjoyed a delicious tempura course meal. Their new menu is amazing! I ordered the luxurious Wagyu Sirloin Tempura Donburi (deluxe). It was so much fun to hear the cheerful shouts from the staff when my order was served, and it made me smile. The tempura was served on a flat plate and included perilla leaves, seaweed, a soft-boiled egg, maitake mushrooms, carrots, onions, mitsuba (Japanese wild parsley), a corn tempura, and some shimonita negi (a type of green onion). The tempura was fresh and piping hot. The beautifully sliced Wagyu tempura was generously piled on top. You can choose between one to three servings of Wagyu; I opted for two servings in my donburi. The rice, topped with white sesame seeds, was served separately, allowing me to serve it as I liked, which was also fun. After halfway through my meal, I could call over the staff to pour dashi broth over it, letting me enjoy it as a dashi chazuke for a change of flavor. It was hearty and very satisfying! ♡

At "Tempura Asakusa SAKURA" in Taito Ward, Tokyo, I enjoyed a "Luxury Beef Sirloin Tempura Bowl." The nearest station is Asakusa Station on the Toei Asakusa Line and Tokyo Metro Ginza Line, just a one-minute walk from exit A4. The restaurant, which opened on April 8, 2024, offers gluten-free tempura and features only 10 counter seats. I ordered the "Luxury Beef Sirloin Tempura Bowl (¥3,800 including tax)," which comes with pickles, condiments, and dashi. The tempura, made with A5 grade beef sirloin, was juicy and rare, while the coating was sweet but a bit greasy, causing it to crumble easily. Although the bowl also included vegetable tempura and seaweed tempura, I was disappointed that the soft-boiled egg tempura shown on the menu was not included. However, you can enhance the dish with extra rice for free and enjoy it as dashi tempura rice porridge. Overall, the restaurant is located on the 7th floor of a building, making it somewhat hidden. The interior features a clean, spacious counter area with cherry blossom decorations on the ceiling, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The menu is heavily in English, clearly targeting inbound tourists, but the staff was friendly and provided decent service. Although the price point is a bit high, the taste was reasonable. I hope this restaurant continues to thrive, especially catering to international visitors.

Recently, I visited a high-end tempura bowl restaurant called "Tempura Asakusa SAKURA" in Asakusa. After taking the elevator up, I opened a beautiful sliding door to find a lovely space adorned with cherry blossoms. The restaurant has 10 counter seats where the staff prepare the finest tempura bowls while facing each customer. I ordered the following dish: ☆ Dish Name: Wagyu Sirloin Luxury Tempura Bowl - 3800 yen ☆ Occasion: Great for sightseeing in Asakusa, which is very popular among international visitors! It's the perfect place to take a break and enjoy an exquisite tempura bowl that can only be found in Asakusa. ☆ Recommended Points: Three delicious ways to change the flavor! You can experience different tastes by altering how you eat it, allowing you to find your own favorite way. 1. First Way: Enjoy it as a tempura bowl. Arrange your preferred tempura on top of the bowl and set aside some of the kakiage and meat for the final chazuke (rice with soup). Once the tempura is arranged and the dipping sauce is added, take a bite. You'll appreciate the perfect balance of the crispy coating and the juicy Wagyu sirloin, which retains a hint of red in the center. The umami of the meat will spread across your mouth. 2. Second Way: Enjoy changing the flavors. By adding condiments like wasabi, chopped green onions, and shredded nori, you can experience a new world of flavors that interweave distinct tastes. 3. Third Way: Chazuke. Pour hot dashi tea over the leftover meat and vegetables, including the kakiage, and enjoy the comforting combination that makes you feel blissful. Experience the transformation of flavors and the compatibility of the Wagyu tempura in one bowl. ☆ Architectural Highlights: A sophisticated counter and a cherry blossom-adorned interior. The beautiful wooden counter catches your eye upon entering. You can watch the tempura being fried right in front of you, which adds to the enjoyment while you wait! Looking up, you'll see cherry blossoms, allowing you to enjoy hot and delicious tempura bowls under Japan's iconic cherry blossoms. ☆ Restaurant Information: Tempura Asakusa SAKURA - Hours: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM - Access: 2 minutes’ walk from Asakusa Station - Smoking Policy: Non-smoking throughout the premises - Address: 2-18-16 Kaminarimon, Taito City, Tokyo, THE CITY Asakusa Kaminarimon 7F

This tempura restaurant is located on the 7th floor, just one minute from Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon in Asakusa. It just opened in April this year. During my last visit, I had the seafood tempura course that used rice flour, and I fell in love with this guilt-free course, so I decided to come back. On this second visit, I tried the newly introduced wagyu menu's tempura rice bowl. It featured A5 rank wagyu sirloin along with tempura of pumpkin, maitake mushrooms, green onions, eggplant, and seaweed. It was a self-serve rice bowl style, allowing me to assemble it myself! It was an impressively luxurious tempura rice bowl!

………………………………………………………This Order_φ(・_・・Wagyu Sirloin Luxurious Tempura Bowl Casual ¥3800………………………………………………………On a Saturday at Taku’s Point, I had a free day, so I went on a gourmet adventure in Asakusa. A Memorable Tempura Experience in Asakusa‼️ I found myself drawn back to Asakusa Sakura to enjoy their exquisite tempura. The luxurious atmosphere filled with cherry blossoms at the counter made for an outstanding dining experience‼️ I visited shortly after they opened, and since then, the restaurant has gained popularity with foreign tourists. It seems that the new menu featuring tempura rice bowls and wagyu courses has become all the rage. I tried it myself and found it so delicious that I ended up devouring it at an alarming speed! Please watch the longer reel until the end! Just a one-minute walk from Asakusa Station, 【Tempura Asakusa SAKURA】 is a popular choice for enjoying top-notch tempura after visiting Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon. This unique dining experience filled with Japanese hospitality will surely deepen your travel memories! This time I ordered a new menu item: ⭐️ Wagyu Sirloin Luxurious Tempura Rice Bowl (Deluxe) ¥5,800 ⭐️ featuring plenty of A5 grade black wagyu sirloin! The rice bowl includes "wagyu sirloin," "soft-boiled egg," "kakiage," "nori," "shiso," "pumpkin," and "maitake," all beautifully piled high! You can customize your tempura rice bowl with your preferred ingredients. It was my first experience with wagyu sirloin tempura, and it was amazing! Tempura Asakusa SAKURA opened in April 2024, themed around providing the best Japanese dining experience to people from around the world. This tempura restaurant offers a gluten-free and healthy menu, without the use of wheat flour. Here's what I ordered: - A5 Rank Wagyu Sirloin Luxurious Tempura Bowl - ¥3,800 (available for sale starting June 25, 2024) - COEDO (RURI) - ¥800 ⭐︎ Some brief thoughts ⭐︎ I visited this popular restaurant, which opened just two months ago and has a high rating of 4.9 on Google Maps. I heard they were launching new menu items, so I went to try it out. I ordered the A5 Wagyu Sirloin Tempura Bowl, made with "Shiretoko Beef," which is mainly exported to Arab countries and is one of the best cuts (BMS12) of A5 grade beef. The bowl allows you to serve your food as you like, which is a fun experience. The meat had a beautiful rare doneness, was tender, and absolutely delicious. The tempura is gluten-free, using a rice flour-based batter, making it light and healthy. The thin batter is fried at a high temperature, allowing the flavors of the ingredients to shine through. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside—just amazing. About halfway through the meal, they offer complimentary additional rice, so I added the leftover meat and tempura on top and poured on some dashi, transforming it into a dashi-chazuke style, allowing for a different taste experience. The generous portion size and the ability to enjoy a variety of flavors from one dish were delightful. The menu is available in English, and course explanations are provided in both Japanese and English, making it a friendly place for people from all over the world. The greetings and special touches at the beginning of the meal enhance the overall experience, ensuring a satisfying visit. The location is excellent, right in front of Exit A4 of Asakusa Station and near the Kaminarimon Gate. The interior has a traditional Japanese feel, adorned with cherry blossoms on the ceiling, allowing for a year-round cherry blossom viewing experience. The seating is counter-style only, making it suitable for various occasions, including dining alone, on dates, or with friends and family.

There’s a tempura restaurant located just a short walk from Asakusa Station, near the Kaminarimon. I was curious to try it since they offer gluten-free options and cater to allergens. The tempura, made with a rice flour base, had a light and crispy batter, and it was incredibly delicious both in texture and flavor. I especially loved the meat tempura—I'm definitely hooked! The restaurant has only counter seating, and the interior is decorated with cherry blossoms, creating a lovely Japanese atmosphere. I highly recommend this place to both locals and international visitors!

The prices are as follows: Wagyu sirloin regular tempura bowl for 3,800 yen and Wagyu sirloin deluxe tempura bowl for 5,800 yen ← I tried the deluxe one!! Starting June 17th (Monday), they have launched this new item!! It’s located just a 2-minute walk from Asakusa Station, making it very convenient. The tempura batter is rice flour-based, which means those who usually can’t eat tempura can enjoy it safely! Since it’s fried with rice flour, the texture is slightly different from regular tempura, but considering the richness of the Wagyu fat, it’s very easy to enjoy! As you can see from the pictures, the portion size is impressive! Other customers have left reviews saying that there is a campaign for increasing the amount of Wagyu (until July 20th). Today, I had an increase in both sirloin and tenderloin! It’s interesting that the part that gets increased varies depending on the supply! The interior of the restaurant is very clean and appealing for inbound tourists!! The cherry blossom decorations hanging from the ceiling were absolutely beautiful!!

On a Sunday in late June, just before the rainy season, Asakusa, one of Tokyo's premier tourist attractions, was bustling with visitors. The area around Senso-ji Temple was so diverse that one might think there were more international tourists than locals. I wandered through the vibrant atmosphere, hurrying to my destination. Located just a stone's throw from the iconic Kaminarimon Gate, "Tempura Asakusa SAKURA" can be found immediately after exiting the A4 exit of Asakusa Station, on the 7th floor of a stylish building. This restaurant just opened two months ago, with the concept of providing "the best Japanese food experience to people from all over the world," focusing primarily on tempura for international guests. The interior features only 10 counter seats in an open-kitchen design, allowing patrons to closely observe the craft of the tempura chefs and experience a lively atmosphere. The warm wooden counter exudes a touch of luxury befitting a Japanese dining experience. A notable feature is the ceiling adorned with blooming cherry blossoms, creating a stunning backdrop as you enjoy delicious tempura beneath the softly lit pink flowers—what a delightful touch. Today, I tried their new menu item: the Wagyu Sirloin Tempura Donburi. The idea of deep-frying Wagyu sirloin into tempura is incredibly luxurious. They reportedly use top-grade Shiretoko beef, A5 ranked, with a BMS of 12, which is the highest marbling class available. This carefully selected Wagyu sirloin is lavishly coated and fried to create a dish that, even before tasting, I instinctively knew would be "surely delicious." After about 10 minutes of waiting while enjoying the view of the cherry blossoms, my bowl arrived, and it looked spectacular. The tempura donburi piled high with "Wagyu sirloin," "soft-boiled egg," "kakiage," "nori," "shiso," "pumpkin," and "maitake" was so voluminous it overflowed from the bowl. The most striking element, of course, was the Wagyu sirloin, elegantly fried and lightly coated. It radiated divine appeal, resembling a heavenly being clad in a robe. The piping hot tempura was served over steaming rice with plenty of a special sauce drizzled on top, elevating my appetite to new heights. Following the enthusiastic encouragement from the staff, I dove into the meal enthusiastically, perhaps startling the international guests around me with how eagerly I devoured the donburi. The Wagyu was incredibly tender, and with each bite, the savory flavors exploded in my mouth. Indeed, it was top-tier beef. The sweetness of the meat combined perfectly with the rich sauce, creating an impeccable harmony with the rice. When I broke open the soft-boiled egg, the rich yolk cascaded down over the Wagyu sirloin and rice, enhancing the dish's creaminess. To switch things up, I added toppings of green onions, wasabi, and shredded nori, allowing the donburi to reveal new flavors. As a final touch, I enjoyed it in a chazuke (rice with tea) style. The staff poured the dashi from a teapot, creating a dish reminiscent of hitsumabushi that intrigued me, and with a spoonful, I was met with a familiar, comforting flavor. It reaffirmed my love for chazuke as a quintessential Japanese dish. This restaurant also offers tempura made with rice flour instead of wheat flour, providing a gluten-free option. The batter is light yet effectively encapsulates the ingredients' natural flavors, showcasing the skill of the chefs. Additionally, they use a unique blend of plant-based oils, such as white sesame and canola oil, and practice a special frying technique to minimize oil absorption, resulting in healthier tempura. Remarkably, unlike previous experiences after indulging in tempura, I felt no heaviness in my stomach this time. This place provides an exquisite tempura experience, merging Japan's traditions with modern techniques—a truly exceptional setting for enjoying Japanese cuisine. The staff's polite service added to the welcoming atmosphere, making it a delightful experience. For international visitors to Asakusa, this restaurant promises a unique tempura experience. Although I have few friends in Japan and none abroad, if I did, I would want to take them to this restaurant first. I predict that after exploring the historic buildings and culture of Asakusa, visiting Senso-ji Temple and Kaminarimon, enjoying top-notch tempura at "Tempura Asakusa SAKURA" will become a popular itinerary. It will not only soothe the fatigue of sightseeing but also enrich travel memories through an extraordinary dining experience. Thank you for the excellent meal!

Right outside Asakusa Station, there's a conveniently located gluten-free tempura restaurant. Gluten-free tempura is quite rare, isn't it? On this day, I tried SAKURA's omakase course, which includes three types of seafood tempura (including shrimp) and eight seasonal vegetable tempuras—15 dishes in total. The tempura doesn't feel heavy at all. Usually, after eating a few, I start to feel full, but perhaps because it's gluten-free tempura, I didn't feel that way. They also put a lot of thought into the oil used for frying. I would love to try the Wagyu sirloin as well! This restaurant offers not only great food but also various entertaining experiences. If I had friends visiting from abroad, this is the place I would want to take them! Although I don’t actually have any friends overseas… haha.

I visited a tempura restaurant located right in front of Exit A4 of Asakusa Station, just 1-2 minutes on foot from Kaminarimon, in a great spot. **Menu** - Wagyu Sirloin Tempura Rice Bowl (Deluxe) ¥5800 (includes dashi chazuke) → The tempura is gluten-free, made without wheat flour. They use tempura batter based on rice flour, which also accommodates the seven major allergens, making it a great option for those who usually can't eat tempura! Recently, gluten-free tempura has become more common, but this was my first experience with sirloin tempura! It was very substantial, incredibly juicy, and the crispy texture paired well with the other tempura items. They provide explanations of the dishes in both Japanese and English, and they can accommodate halal dietary needs, which is excellent for inbound tourism. The service was attentive, and they offered wonderful hospitality to foreign guests who were also visiting.

I visited a newly opened tempura restaurant near Kaminarimon that just opened in April. The interior of the restaurant is beautifully decorated with artificial cherry blossoms covering the ceiling. The energetic staff warmly greeted us. This place not only serves tempura but also incorporates unique performances, where everyone cheers together at the staff's cue. The tempura uses a batter made from rice flour, making it gluten-free, which would likely appeal to foreign visitors. The batter has a crunchy texture and a solid bite. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I’ve become completely captivated by the crispy texture of tempura, so I visited again! The interior of the restaurant is adorned with cherry blossoms in full bloom, making me feel excited from the moment I entered. The course is a one-hour fully reserved system. This time, I enjoyed the following: - Seafood and Vegetable Omakase Course - Japanese Sake Pairing Course Menu - 3 Kinds of Tofu Tasting - Lotus Root, Konnyaku, Itoyori Sea Bream - Shiitake Mushrooms, Pecoros, Senju Green Onion - Shredded Carrots, Thick Sliced Sweet Potato - Yuzu Sorbet - Shrimp, Asparagus, Squid - Specialty Egg Rice Bowl We started with gentle tofu: soy milk tofu, sesame tofu, and yuba tofu, enjoyed with a refreshing dashi jelly. The tempura uses a batter made from rice flour instead of wheat flour, making it a healthy option free from the seven major allergens. Not only is it crispy, but it also has a light aftertaste, making it so delicious that you could eat as much as you want! We paired the first tempura with Aizu Musume sake. The konnyaku had a great texture, and the crispy batter balanced perfectly with its softness. Next, we enjoyed shiitake mushrooms, pecoros, and Senju green onion with Dassai sake. The shiitake was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The pecoros, which are small sweet onions, paired excellently with grated daikon and dipping sauce, bringing out the best of the vegetable's sweetness. The artfully arranged carrot kakiage and thick sweet potato slices were so photogenic and adorable! Paired with sweet doburoku (unrefined sake), the combination was delicious! The much-anticipated seafood featured both smoked shrimp and regular tempura shrimp, making for a fun comparison. The shrimp was perfectly crispy, and simply seasoned with salt or enjoyed with the dipping sauce, it was exquisite. Finally, we were served a special egg rice bowl adorned with a cute bear, which we enjoyed with finely chopped pickles—no soy sauce needed! I absolutely love crispy pickles; they may just be the perfect accompaniment to rice! Tempura Asakusa SAKURA allows you to enjoy your course while having fun conversations at the counter, which is one of the things I look forward to. The staff even casually explained Japanese food culture and ingredients associated with Asakusa in English to nearby overseas guests, reminding me that it's a perfect place for special occasions. If you're someone who usually doesn't eat tempura and want to enjoy a top-notch experience in Japan and Asakusa, this is a must-visit!

The restaurant features only counter seating, and the ceiling is beautifully adorned with cherry blossoms. Everyone can enjoy a toast and a smoke performance, and the staff is very attentive, making it a delightful experience for international guests! The system is a one-hour course with a changeover. It starts with an exciting setup that feels like a movie is being screened. There are two course options: 1) a bountiful vegetable omakase and 2) an omakase with seafood and vegetables. I chose option 2. Drinks are paired with each tempura dish, with sake for those who enjoy alcohol, and soft drinks for those who don't. I went for the sake! What's special is that the tempura batter is made with rice flour, without using wheat, and it’s gluten-free, addressing the seven major allergens, which is great for those on a diet. This means even those who usually can't enjoy tempura can eat it with confidence! Enjoying freshly fried tempura at the counter is such a joy, especially with the pairing! It’s the perfect place to host international guests!
