The staff at the restaurant were kind and chatted with us, making it a fun experience. The prices were higher than last year, which is understandable, but it was a bit over my budget so I decided not to get the all-you-can-drink option. Please note that beer is not included in the all-you-can-drink option. However, I will definitely visit again next year.

The thick Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) was delicious and you can eat plenty of it. The sauce was also well-balanced, not too sweet, and I liked the taste. From the Rusutsu Resort Hotel, it's only about a 5-minute walk. You can also request your favorite vegetables from the second time onwards. It wasn't snowing that day, so it was easy to walk to the restaurant. I want to go there again next season after a good day of snowboarding.

The pricing is different from last winter season. I am definitely attracted to the wonderful Genghis Khan. I am also happy with the usual frosty beer in a frosted mug. Genghis Khan specialty restaurant near the Rusutsu Resort ski slopes. The menu consists solely of Genghis Khan, and the lamb was incredibly delicious, showcasing their dedication. The thick-cut raw Australian lamb shoulder was served, and following the restaurant's recommendation to cook it rare resulted in a juicy, flavorful taste with just the right amount of lamb essence. The vegetables, mainly locally sourced from Rusutsu, paired perfectly with the lamb juices, enhancing their sweetness. Whether dipped in the slightly viscous and sweet sauce or eaten on rice, it was incredibly delicious. I couldn't help but order one serving for myself, but ended up devouring an additional 200g, totaling 370g. I believe that dining on Genghis Khan of this quality in Tokyo would cost nearly double. Since I came all the way to Hokkaido, I wanted something that was both Hokkaido-like and delicious, and this restaurant satisfied that desire. Additionally, the fact that all the drink glasses were ice-cold was a nice touch. Sapporo Classic beer was delicious!

It's a bit disappointing that they don't have wine by the glass. The owner is said to have been an instructor at the Rusutsu Resort snowboard school. He is also famous as a ski instructor, and you can feel his love for Rusutsu at the restaurant. Since it's a small restaurant, I recommend making a reservation.

During my winter stay, I visited this place only once. The Genghis Khan set menu was changed to 2000 yen per person. The price of draft beer at 550 yen per glass is the lowest in this area. The corkage fee for bringing wine is now 300 yen per person per bottle. Overall, these prices are very reasonable. Reservation times are from 5:00 or 7:00 for a 2-hour limit. I have never seen English-speaking people here before, but today there was a group of 6 or more making a lot of noise - still excited from their backcountry skiing adventures during the day.
