The daifuku I purchased at the Rusutsu Michi no Eki was delicious. It had grass, beans, and another one with yukari mochi. It was rare and the pink color was beautiful. I enjoyed the texture of the beans and the mochi was chewy and tasty. It became my lunch. Emergency food is important around here. Thank you for the meal!

At Road Station Rusutsu 230, I bought 5 colorful daifuku. When I checked the shop, I heard that the apple pie was delicious, so I went to buy it, but it was closed. The daifuku came in 5 colors: red bean, grass, brown sugar, ancient rice, and yukari, all looking beautiful. Each flavor was subtle and not overpowering, but the daifuku was delicious! On another day, when I passed through Kimobetsu, I visited again and successfully bought the apple pie. The large-sized apple pie cost 240 yen including tax. They also had cheese pie and pumpkin pie in the same shape. The apple pie, made by wrapping sweetened apples in pie crust and baking it, was a nostalgic Showa-era style with the apples turning into jam-like consistency and a mild cinnamon flavor, very moist. Next time, I'll try their famous confection "Asparagus Village". Thank you, Mr. Fujita!

This is "Fujita Confectionery" in Kimobetsu... They have a variety of colorful daifuku. I tried two kinds, "kusamochi" and "inakibi", each costing 104 yen before tax. The mochi is a bit firm, maybe due to time passing, as it hardens over time in the traditional way. The filling is not too moist and has a slightly sweet, chunky texture. Other baked goods look interesting, but the "apple pie" seems to be popular. I will definitely try it next time. Thank you for the meal.

I am a fan of sweet bean paste in traditional Japanese sweets. On the way back from Lake Toya, I couldn't resist buying some daifuku. It was delicious.

The peaceful natural scenery with fields and a sense of people's lives in the area, but here is a shop selling Japanese and Western sweets in a small town with a bustling shopping street and densely packed houses. Just like déjà vu, I bought an apple pie at a rural confectionery shop... It felt like déjà vu. The pie crust had lost its crispiness after being left for a day, but the texture and sweet-sour taste of the apple filling were delicious, and the flavor of the pie crust was also good. It wasn't too sweet and had a nice balance of acidity. I used to make apple pies myself many years ago, and I remember adding a lot of cinnamon for a unique flavor. I used to cook for myself every day, and I also enjoyed making sweets. It's been over 20 years, but it feels nostalgic. At Fujita Kashiya, they have a famous local sweet called "Aspara no Sato," and I definitely want to try it next time. Unlike in Sapporo, when I come to a rural town like this, I can clearly feel the difference in people's aura. The mother here may not be bubbly, but you can feel her brightness and friendliness in the shop. However, the real brightness I felt was probably due to the good weather. Have you ever experienced feeling dark in a bright place? Overall 3.3 Taste 3.3 Service 3.4 Atmosphere 3.3 Cost performance 3.3 Drink - Address: 243 Kimobetsu, Kimobetsu-cho, Abuta-gun, Hokkaido Fujita Kashiya ☆☆☆ Next episode preview ☆☆☆ I have a feeling that I will stop by here again if I have lunch in this area.
