Visit date: February 19, 2021, around 1:20 PM. Arrived at "Yoho Farm" about 20 minutes ago! Let's have some soft serve ice cream!... Closed for winter. It's not a ranch that runs a restaurant, so it's understandable. So, I headed to the second option, the cafe "La Liberte". This place used to be "Kajimoto," known for its omelet rice. I remembered it as "Mimosa no En," but it seems like "Liberte" is more popular now. When I visited, there was only one parking spot left, so it was a close call. Even though it was slightly past lunchtime, it seemed quite popular. Hmm, it's hard to park with the snow mountain blocking the way! Or rather, I have to back in to park! After a bit of a struggle, I managed to park and entered the cafe. Today, I ordered the "Coconut Soft Serve Ice Cream (¥464)" for takeout. I went back to my car to enjoy the soft serve ice cream. I prefer ice cream in a cup, so I was pleased with the presentation. This soft serve is made without eggs, milk, soy, red beans, or rice. First bite, and the rich coconut flavor spreads on my tongue, with a smooth texture that feels good. It has a high water content, not as refreshing as vanilla ice cream, but the coconut texture and rich flavor persist throughout, so those who prefer milder flavors may find it difficult to finish towards the end. Personally, I think this soft serve is a nice change of pace once in a while. I struggled to leave the parking lot because I had backed in, and with the snow mountain in winter, it was even harder to get out. Next time, I'll try their meals! Thank you for the meal.
