I went to the Mimosa Garden that I was curious about. It used to be an omurice restaurant, right? I was happy to see that they have a spacious parking lot. I went inside and headed towards the café area, where I sat at a window seat for two. I ordered the Napolitan from the lunch menu and added a hot café latte for an extra ¥50. After eating, I also ordered soft-serve ice cream. The pasta was in a soup style, which was not bad but I prefer the regular style. The latte art was cute and the soft-serve was delicious.

I came across a charming building that caught my eye while walking down the street. It looked like a café, but the words related to medicine and Chinese herbal medicine intrigued me, so I decided to go inside. As soon as I entered, I saw Chinese herbal medicine, herbal tea, cosmetics, and miscellaneous goods, with a café space in the back. I ordered a half-size homemade pancake with mixed berries and honey, topped with double syrup, whipped cream, and ice cream. The pancake was not fluffy on the outside, but I liked the texture and the taste was delicious! The half-size portion was just right. There were pharmacists and aroma therapists on hand to provide advice for any concerns. It felt like a café where you could boost your feminine charm and immune system while enjoying delicious food! Thank you for the meal!

It has become quite cool, even cold, but I visited because I was curious about the coconut soft serve ice cream. The Coconut Soft Serve Ice Cream costs 460 yen and is made without milk, giving a true coconut flavor. It retains the gritty texture of coconut, which was interesting. I personally prefer soft serve ice cream with plenty of milk fat.

On the way back from Chitose, we made a detour to this place in Ebetsu. I've been curious about their low-calorie soft-serve ice cream for a while now! Can you believe it? Only 141 calories per serving!! It's made mainly from natural coconut milk and doesn't contain eggs, milk, soy, wheat, or rice - 100% plant-based soft-serve ice cream!! It's perfect for those with allergies, vegetarians, and vegans. The ice cream is pure white, slightly crispy, and sometimes a bit crunchy - basically all coconut! It's sweet but not too heavy, with a refreshing coconut flavor. Even though I'm not a big fan of coconut, I really enjoyed it without getting tired of it. Next time, I'll come back for lunch! Thank you, "Lariberta"!

Visit date: February 19, 2021, around 1:20 PM. Arrived at "Yoho Farm" about 20 minutes ago! Let's have some soft serve ice cream!... Closed for winter. It's not a ranch that runs a restaurant, so it's understandable. So, I headed to the second option, the cafe "La Liberte". This place used to be "Kajimoto," known for its omelet rice. I remembered it as "Mimosa no En," but it seems like "Liberte" is more popular now. When I visited, there was only one parking spot left, so it was a close call. Even though it was slightly past lunchtime, it seemed quite popular. Hmm, it's hard to park with the snow mountain blocking the way! Or rather, I have to back in to park! After a bit of a struggle, I managed to park and entered the cafe. Today, I ordered the "Coconut Soft Serve Ice Cream (¥464)" for takeout. I went back to my car to enjoy the soft serve ice cream. I prefer ice cream in a cup, so I was pleased with the presentation. This soft serve is made without eggs, milk, soy, red beans, or rice. First bite, and the rich coconut flavor spreads on my tongue, with a smooth texture that feels good. It has a high water content, not as refreshing as vanilla ice cream, but the coconut texture and rich flavor persist throughout, so those who prefer milder flavors may find it difficult to finish towards the end. Personally, I think this soft serve is a nice change of pace once in a while. I struggled to leave the parking lot because I had backed in, and with the snow mountain in winter, it was even harder to get out. Next time, I'll try their meals! Thank you for the meal.

Whenever the weather is nice, my family and I feel like going out. Today, we decided to have some fun at an athletic park. When it came to lunchtime, my husband mentioned that he knew a place we should go to. Where? A place that serves delicious soft serve ice cream. And the best part is, they don't use eggs or milk in their recipe. Yay! I used to think I couldn't enjoy soft serve ice cream anymore since I developed lactose intolerance, so the joy of being able to eat it again was indescribable. We arrived at the shop after a day of playing, and it turned out to be a half health tea and aroma products store with a café in the back. My daughter, who has an egg allergy, chose the mentaiko cream pasta. My husband went for the juicy hamburger, and I opted for a pumpkin and salmon cob salad with mixed berry pancake on the side. And of course, both my daughter and I couldn't wait for the coconut soft serve ice cream after our meal. The mentaiko cream pasta was rich with mentaiko sauce, almost like a soup pasta. The salad was generous and fresh, and we enjoyed sharing it. The pancake was fluffy and the berry sauce was like jam. The hamburger plate had a small portion, and the hamburger itself seemed slightly overcooked. And finally, the moment we've been waiting for - the soft serve ice cream. It was incredibly coconutty, rich, and delicious. It had a unique texture that was a cross between soft serve and sorbet. I had never tasted anything like it before. I will definitely come back for this amazing egg and milk-free soft serve ice cream. Thank you for creating such a wonderful treat!

Our first visit, we didn't know they had a food menu so we just had soft serve ice cream and coffee. But this time, we came back with a friend after the place we originally wanted to go to was closed. We had bacon and cheese basil hot sandwich for 650 yen, cake set (gâteau chocolat) for 400 yen, and a set drink (café latte) for an additional 250 yen. The prices are excluding tax. The parking lot is spacious and easy to park. My friend had the fried chicken plate from the regular menu, served on a cute heart-shaped plate. I usually don't like chicken breast, but this one was thin and I enjoyed it. The hot sandwich had basil as a nice touch. The pudding was smaller than expected, but the gâteau chocolat was moist and delicious. The cafe next door had a lot of cars parked, but we were the only customers here. The total cost was a little over 1,000 yen before tax. I might try the pancakes or pasta next time. Thank you for the meal!

On the way back from the outlet, I suddenly remembered a friend who lives in Ebetsu City and had recommended this place to me, so I caught her and we headed there! The cafe with a pharmacy offering aromatherapy and Chinese medicine is so cute! I was looking forward to the tofu dessert douhua. I wonder if it's warm or cold? I was excitedly waiting and it turned out to be cold. It's a cold day, so warm would have been nice, I thought (*´-`). There were lots of toppings, so fun! Delicious! My friend had a chocolate parfait with coconut soft serve on top! It was a treat for me. Oh my goodness, this is so delicious! I can't resist coconut flavor! The cafe latte art was also super cute, with a cat appearing for me~♪ It was too cute to ruin, so I sipped and drank it, and then I transformed into a monster cat, lol. As a fan of aromatherapy and Chinese medicine, I might have spent more time in the pharmacy than in the cafe. Thank you so much for the very kind explanation! I ended up buying a lot of things~♪ You can also get takeaway Chinese herbal tea, so I plan to stop by when I go to Ebetsu. Thank you for the meal!

In September, I visited Mimosa no En & Cafe La Liberte in Ebetsu, Hokkaido. I ordered the hamburger plate from the weekday lunch menu. It came on a cute heart-shaped plate with rice, hamburger, salad, and potatoes, along with soup and a drink on the side. I chose Earl Grey tea for my post-meal drink. It was just the right amount of food for a woman, and I liked that it included vegetables. For dessert, I tried the coconut milk soft serve, which is vegan and free from eggs, milk, soy, wheat, and rice. Despite not containing dairy or eggs, it had a rich flavor and was delicious. The cafe also has a corner with herbal teas and traditional Chinese medicine, where staff, who are pharmacists and aroma therapy instructors, provide advice. I purchased "touki tea" for shoulder stiffness, cold sensitivity, and allergies, as well as "mulberry leaf tea," which is hard to find elsewhere. The cafe space is in the back, separated by partitions, allowing for a relaxed shopping experience. It's a great place for health-conscious individuals.

On a certain weekday, after having a light lunch in Ebetsu City, I visited a cafe that seemed interesting based on a review from a respected reviewer. Upon arrival, I was surprised! It turned out to be the same property that used to be a famous Western-style restaurant, which made me feel both happy and nostalgic. The parking lot, with clean tiled lines, can accommodate several cars just like before. The exterior looks the same as before, but the interior has been completely renovated, with high ceilings and a spacious open space. In the front, there is a space displaying and selling Chinese herbal medicine, tea, and aromatherapy oils, while in the back there is a cafe space with 5 tables and 4 counter seats, already bustling with local ladies enjoying their time. Piano jazz music plays in the background. From the menu that day, there were cafe-style meals, sweets, and drinks, and I chose the "Half-size Homemade Pancakes (680 yen tax included)" with "Maple syrup (0 yen)" as the topping, and added "Extra whip cream (+100 yen tax included)" and "Apple compote (+100 yen tax included)" as toppings. I also ordered the set drink "Iced coffee (+250 yen tax included)". After a considerable wait due to many orders ahead of mine, the pancakes were finally ready. Taking the first bite... Hmm, the pancake batter was indeed eggy and had a crispy edge, with a slightly sweet surface and a fluffy interior, more like a fluffy pancake. Personally, I was expecting something closer to Starbucks pancakes. The whipped cream was sweet and creamy, so I imagine it would be well-received by those who enjoy sweet treats. The iced coffee, though the brewing method was a mystery, seemed like it was brewed with an espresso machine and then diluted and chilled. It was a delicious cup of coffee. I noticed that the customers in the cafe area seemed completely uninterested in the herbal medicine section, which was a bit disappointing for the store. I hope that both aspects can flourish together in the future. Thank you for the meal.

I found out about this place in the local news section, it's a new cafe that opened in place of the former Omu-rice restaurant in Ebetsu. My friend and I visited and tried their mini parfait for 480 yen + tax, and I added a set drink (coffee) for an extra 150 yen + tax. The owner is a pharmacist and an aromatherapy instructor, selling natural herbal medicine and aromatherapy products like essential oils and creams. Her son manages the cafe, offering herbal tea and low-calorie coconut-flavored soft serve ice cream. When you enter, you'll see a corner with medicines and aromatherapy products, and then you'll be guided to the seating area. The owner came to greet us at our table while we looked at the menu. I thought they only had soft serve ice cream, but they also offer pancakes and meal options. Since we had already eaten, we ordered the soft serve ice cream, mini parfait, and a set drink. The soft serve ice cream is made with natural coconut milk, no eggs, milk, wheat, or rice, suitable for vegetarians and those with allergies. It's plant-based, low-calorie, and served in a cup. The mini parfait had a Gâteau Chocolat with a Pocky stick, and the sweet corn (granola?) at the bottom was delicious. The coffee was high quality, and they even do latte art. I would like to try their meals next time. Thank you for the meal.
