Today, I had the morning set, but there are also options like Napolitan, omurice, oyakodon, and Japanese-style pilaf that I want to try. Even ramen, soba, and udon are available at this coffee shop, which is surprising. My order was the morning set sandwich for 530 yen, which had a good balance of ham and cucumber in the bread. The coffee was hand-dripped after ordering, with a smooth texture similar to a nel drip. The only downside was that it was slightly warm, perhaps due to a reduction in the amount of beans because of price increases. Nonetheless, it was convenient for me as I had plans to eat sushi later. This shop is a good option for a meal before cycling back from Teine, Otaru, or Yoichi, as it is close to Shin-do and easily accessible.

The kind lady explained that on weekdays from 7 am to 9 am, the breakfast sets are only 380 yen, so on weekends from 9 am to 10 am, they are also 380 yen. It's such a great deal! They have a good selection of manga and newspapers. I enjoyed looking at the weekly Bunshun magazine while watching the TV wide show. This kind of relaxation is also a kind of happiness. When I talked to the staff at the checkout, I found out that the shop has been around for over 40 years, and the owner is the third generation. It's surprising how clean and well-maintained the place is, without the smell of cigarettes. They serve breakfast until 11 am. Lunch starts at 11 am. The breakfast is cheap, with coffee for 320 yen, or a coffee set for 530 yen. They offer four different sets including ham and egg, bacon and egg, toast, and sandwiches. Lunch starts at 650 yen. The menu is diverse, ranging from ramen, soba, udon, and other items you would expect at a coffee shop. I ordered the Morning Sandwich Set (530 yen), and here's my review: [Sandwich] Simply delicious! The balance of mayonnaise and other ingredients was perfect. I visited a cafe located on a corner along the Higashi-ku Kitakosen in September 2022. They have a parking lot at the back of the store. There are many old cafes in Higashi-ku, and this one also has a nostalgic feel with box seats lined up inside. I ordered the ham and egg toast from the morning menu. It took less than 10 minutes to be served. The thick toast has a cut in it, which is nice. It comes with jam, butter, two fried eggs on top of the ham, and plenty of salad. It was simple and very delicious. I usually don't drink hot coffee, but I found that it tastes good with milk. They also have a wide variety of lunch menus. I look forward to exploring more cafes in the future.

I added some powdered cheese and Tabasco for extra flavor. The side salad was made of shredded radish and cabbage with Aurora dressing. I finished off with the slightly small iced coffee.
