I couldn't help but jump in and ask the staff. Do you use eggs in this? The staff was very kind and immediately made a call to confirm. It's okay, we don't use eggs, they said with a big smile. It's really nice to have this kind of consideration, especially for those with food allergies. I could picture my daughter's happy face. I was so happy that I ended up buying a fruit apple pie and a cheesecake apple pie for myself as well. The blue jelly is called the Pineapple Waikiki Parfait, a July limited edition item made with pineapple mousse and jelly, even though it's an apple pie specialty shop. My daughter cheered as soon as she saw it. She's eating it so carefully, savoring every bite. The fruit one is called the Fruits Galore Zucotto, with lots of fluffy cream and plenty of fruits, very satisfying. The cheesecake one has a hint of orange scent, not lemon. It's refreshing and rich, and delicious. It wasn't a special occasion, but I had a pleasant shopping experience and enjoyed the tasty treats, making it a great day.

I was about to go underground to take the subway when something caught my eye and I took a few steps back. A bright red sign stood out. It was apple-colored? I was intrigued and ended up buying some items. There was a fruit-filled apple pie for 410 yen, an apple pie with plenty of apple compote and custard for 389 yen, and a stylish apple pie with plenty of custard and slices of apple on top for 420 yen. They had a special offer where if you spend over 1,000 yen, you get one piece for free. I got the jumbo American apple pie for 500 yen, which was heavy and filled with cinnamon cream and apples. It was nice to get one for free when I bought three. The total amount I paid was 1,219 yen. It's always nice to get a freebie!

I ended up purchasing the "Juicy Apple Pie @380" and the "Old American Apple Pie @360" to take home. The "Juicy Apple Pie" had a moist apple compote with a low sugar content that emphasized the apple flavor, and the pie crust was not too crispy. The "Old American Apple Pie" had a traditional cinnamon-infused compote that was well-cooked with a subtle sweetness. The place used to be a standing soba shop where the famous Bibai Yakitori Sanbune used to be located. When we arrived, there were already several groups of customers dining in. Similar to the main store, this branch only offers takeout options. Looking at the showcase, they had a variety of desserts ranging from the classic apple pie to seasonal fruits and unique options like strawberry shortcake. Since I had tried the classic items at the main store, I decided to go for the unique options this time. I chose the Chocolat and Rare Cheese desserts. The Chocolat dessert had a generous amount of chocolate on top of the apple pie base. The chocolate was smooth milk chocolate, and the truffle on top added a hint of coffee-like flavor. It was more like a chocolate pie than an apple pie, as the chocolate flavor dominated, but it was still delicious. The Rare Cheese dessert had a layer of mild cheese on top of the apple. The cheese flavor and acidity were subtle, with a stronger sweetness. It tasted more like a milky custard cream with a hint of acidity rather than a traditional rare cheese flavor. Despite the lack of strong rare cheese flavor, it paired well with the apple and was enjoyable. It seems that it used to be a soba shop called Fukuyoshi. The main item was "Apple Pie" and there were also Western-style sweets. (It was my first time entering and when I held the pie, the top came off. The sweet honey drizzled on top was crispy on the surface and moist inside. The thick slices of apple had a crunchy and smooth texture with two types of sweetness. I think they used two different types of apples. The texture of the apples and the sponge cake were delicious. It was 410 yen, which was quite expensive for everyday use.
