I visited during my trip to Hokkaido. I stayed at a pension managed by them, and had dinner here. The landlady runs the place and serves dishes made with local ingredients. They also pay attention to how they pour and maintain the beer, which was delicious. The food and beer were both delicious, and I ended up drinking a lot. Fish was the main dish that day, so there was no meat dish. I would like to use this place again when I visit Hokkaido.

Six colleagues from work visited this restaurant, which requires reservations. We finally had the opportunity to visit. The website showed that they offer courses for chanko-nabe (sumo wrestler's stew) and yakiniku (Japanese BBQ), so we requested a combination of both. The chanko-nabe was delicious with plenty of vegetables and chicken meatballs, and we finished by adding rice to make "ojya" (rice porridge). The yakiniku started with raw lamb and then we enjoyed a variety of flavors with chicken, pork, and beef. The beef hormone was especially delicious, melting in our mouths. The grilling over charcoal really brought out the flavor of the meat. The dessert sherbet was also tasty, making our visit very satisfying.

I had only visited this restaurant for lunch before, but this time I used it for the first time as a venue for a class reunion at night. The main dish was a hot pot, which had a light soy sauce flavor. What caught my eye in the hot pot at this restaurant was the "pumpkin." I was surprised to see sliced pumpkin as an ingredient in the hot pot, but after trying it, I was convinced. Pumpkin in hot pot was surprisingly delicious! By the way, regarding the beer (I'm sorry, I don't drink), those who drank it all unanimously praised the foam as delicious. The location of the restaurant, surrounded by greenery with a view of the sea in the distance, further enhanced the experience. Although the restaurant is quite off the beaten path in Urakawa, they offer free shuttle service, so you can enjoy alcohol without worry.

[2016.10] This year, I visited the farm again for a tour and to enjoy some delicious food. I usually go for the seafood grilling course, so this time it was prepared for me without me having to say anything. Last time, they grilled saury for us, but this time it was herring. It was my first time trying grilled herring, and it was delicious with its plump flesh. [2015.10] When I come here, I always use the plan that includes dinner at the pension on site. They offer a choice between Genghis Khan or seafood grilling courses, and I always go for the seafood course. The sashimi of squid caught in the nearby sea, as well as the salmon and Matsukawa flounder, are very tasty. This time, the seafood grilling included pike conger, clams, and although not shown in the photo, salmon, dried squid, and small hokke fish. The fresh vegetables and grilled saury cooked over charcoal were also delicious. The owner used to be a horse trainer, so horse enthusiasts often gather here. It's nice to enjoy delicious food while having various conversations with the talkative owner. It seems that you can also enjoy chanko-nabe and yakiniku normally, so maybe next time I'll visit just for the food.
