All this for 1,250 yen (tax included). Enjoying a great value lunch.

I visited around 6:00 pm for the sashimi set meal, but they said they weren't serving set meals. I was shocked! When I consulted with the staff, they said they could serve it as a set meal with vinegar rice instead of regular rice. I agreed to that option. The sashimi was all delicious! The vinegar rice actually went really well with it. It was like eating sushi in a set meal style. No issues at all, it was very delicious!

The chirashi sushi included ikura, snow crab, scallop, kanpachi, bluefin tuna, live shellfish, sweet shrimp, squid, white fish, and tamago, and all the ingredients were fresh and delicious. The soup with shrimp broth was also tasty. The "Chef's Choice Mini Tendon Set" included 6 pieces of nigiri sushi, 1 roll, pickles, mini tempura rice bowl, and soup. The sushi featured bluefin tuna, squid, sweet shrimp, octopus, snow crab, and tobiko, with a choice of roll including shinko, umekyu, kappamaki, gobomaki, kanpyo, natto, tamago, or inari. The tempura rice bowl had shrimp, white fish, and shiso, and everything was delicious. We arrived at the restaurant when it opened at 11 am, and by the time we finished eating, it was almost full. The quality and price of the lunch were excellent. I will definitely be coming back.

I decided to go with the "Chef's Choice Mini Tendon Set" (1,000 yen, excluding tax). You can choose your favorite roll from 8 options, and I chose the kappa maki. The sushi chefs quickly prepared the sushi and served the dishes in order - sushi and roll first, followed by miso soup, and then the tendon set. The set was complete! For 1,000 yen, it was a great deal! The sushi included tuna, squid, sweet shrimp, octopus, crab, and flying fish roe, all very fresh and satisfying. The sushi rice was well-balanced in vinegar flavor. The pickled eggplant was a nice touch. The tempura in the tendon set included shrimp, white fish, squid, and shungiku (chrysanthemum greens), all fried to a crispy perfection. The sauce was not too sweet, which was perfect. Overall, it was a very satisfying lunch for the price. I have also visited this restaurant in the evening a few times, and it seems that the prices are reasonable no matter the time of day. The chefs and staff are always friendly, making it a place where you can always enjoy a good meal!

Even now, there is a small shopping street where local residents can relax. I visited a shop that I had seen several times before. I arrived after 1:00 PM. It's great that they are open during the Bon Festival season. The spacious store was crowded with many customers. There are three lunch menu options: - Chef's choice sushi set: 10 pieces of sushi and 1 roll - Chef's choice mini tendon set: 6 pieces of sushi, 1 roll, and a mini tendon - Chef's choice chirashi set: all sets come with a soup, probably shrimp soup. The roll can be chosen from options like new pickles, plum, cucumber, burdock, natto, egg, and inari. Choosing the roll is a nice service as it is very important. Due to circumstances, I ordered the tendon set. The customers coming in one after another probably are regulars, all ordering the sushi set. Everything was served in about 8 minutes. In addition to sushi, mini tendon, and shrimp soup, there was also eggplant pickles. The tendon had shrimp, eggplant, squid, and shungiku. They were supposed to be. All freshly fried and crispy, but the coating was okay. The sushi was the same as the menu photo. Tuna, squid, sweet shrimp, octopus legs, snow crab, flying fish roe, and natto roll. It was a reasonably priced lunch set, so I wasn't expecting much, but the sushi was quite delicious. The vinegar was not too strong, the rice was well seasoned, and the sushi was just right. The ingredients were simple, but the tuna and octopus had a mature taste, and there was plenty of flying fish roe. And the natto roll was also very tasty.
