えぞむらさき
I had always been curious about the sushi restaurant "Nishikawa" that I passed by all the time. When I checked the opening hours, it said they are open from 11:30 am to 10 pm! I asked, "You stay open pretty late." and was told, "We are in the customer service business, so some days we close at midnight, while other days we close at 9 pm." On this day, around 1:30 pm, I visited for a slightly late lunch. I was thinking of having sushi for lunch, but they said, "We are currently cooking the sushi rice." So, they couldn't make individual servings, but they could make a lunch set. My child said, "I'm fine with regular rice!" and insisted on having sushi without the sushi rice (laughs). I asked them, "What type of sushi do you recommend?" and they said, "It's fine to choose from the menu photos." They seem to also ask for your preferences for the sushi toppings. So, I decided to have the remaining sushi rice all to myself and ordered the sushi set. Although it's a sushi restaurant, they also have a wide selection of izakaya menu items. They offer rice bowls and set meals, so you can enjoy various dishes besides sushi. ● Tempura Sushi Set 1200 yen Even though it's not shown in the photo, it also comes with shrimp broth miso soup, pickles, and macaroni salad. The tempura includes bell pepper, eggplant, pumpkin, shrimp, salmon, and cod. The tempura dipping sauce comes with grated daikon radish. The sushi included three rolls of kampyo (dried gourd strips) and four pieces each of tuna, salmon, mackerel, and shrimp. Honestly, for this price in Haga, I was more than satisfied. ● Sushi Set 800 yen I ordered the cheapest 800 yen set for my child, and they started making the sushi right in front of us, which was quite authentic! It felt almost too authentic for the price of 800 yen. However, since they were grabbed from the counter, it seemed a bit difficult for my child to eat (laughs). They were considerate and upgraded the rolls to tekka maki, saying, "It's not sushi rice..." They even added two pieces of minced salmon with green onions and a cherry on top! It was an unexpectedly luxurious bonus! Thank you for your warm hospitality! I was satisfied with both the taste and service. I would like to try using it as an izakaya next time! Thank you for the meal! P.S. No matter how many times I post, it doesn't show up on the timeline, and it only reflects posts from more than 20 times ago. I'm so frustrated with this system! Please fix it! It's sad to see only 2 likes on a review I put effort into writing.
