This is a Genghis Khan restaurant. I had raw lamb shoulder, raw lamb loin, lamb chops, and lamb tongue. It was like an upside-down Genghis Khan pot, a shallow Chinese pot with vegetables like bean sprouts in the middle and meat around it to grill. The bean sprouts were grilled well. The two raw lamb dishes were tender and delicious without any smell.

On the first day of my trip to Hokkaido, on June 22nd, I had dinner at the Jingisukan Eijin Kutchan store near Kutchan Station. The restaurant is known for its unique Chinese pot-shaped Jingisukan, which reduces splashing of fat and smoke. We ordered raw lamb shoulder loin (block) 80g, raw lamb shoulder 80g x 2, assorted kimchi, cold noodles, small draft beer x 2, Eijin sake (cold). The lamb shoulder loin and shoulder are fresh and juicy, as they are not frozen. The staff explained the grilling process at the counter, and the meat was cooked to perfection. The cold noodles were creamy colored and had a smooth texture. The kimchi assortment was authentic and delicious. The draft beer was a bit pricey but worth it. The restaurant also offers all-you-can-eat courses, which can be a good deal if you can eat and drink more. As for me, I could only handle 90 minutes of dining and 3 small draft beers. I enjoyed 240g of meat, which was just right for me.

I went to Kucchan in Hokkaido to eat Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) when I stayed in Niseko. It was about a 20-minute drive from Niseko. I love Genghis Khan! The lamb meat was very fresh and the staff explained it well. However, it had a strong unique smell. I could handle it, but people who are not fans of that smell might find it difficult. The homemade cold noodles were delicious and highly recommended. Unfortunately, the place I wanted to visit the most was closed for the off-season or on their regular day off.

I made a reservation and visited the restaurant, then ordered a la carte. They had a variety of lamb dishes, from the classic raw lamb to more unusual cuts. I particularly enjoyed the lamb fingers! It was a new experience for me. I highly recommend trying it out! It doesn't have a strong flavor, it's tender and easy to chew, with a slightly chewy texture. When dipped in sauce, it's so delicious that I couldn't stop eating it with rice. I ended up eating only this dish because I liked it so much. Highly recommended!

When you come to Niseko, it is recommended to try the Genghis Khan dish made with raw lamb meat. This was my first time visiting this restaurant, and I was impressed by the warm and friendly service provided by the staff. They offer an all-you-can-eat menu, which I tried. The taste was excellent, with a variety of cuts served. Despite using raw lamb meat, there was not a strong lamb smell, allowing me to fully enjoy the flavor of the meat. The lamb loin in particular was incredibly delicious, so I highly recommend it to everyone.

Thank you very much for accommodating my last-minute request to enjoy your delicious cold noodles as my final meal of the day. The cold noodles were the best I've ever had in Japan! The raw lamb loin is 1000 yen per serving, and the raw lamb shoulder is 950 yen per serving and they are delicious! The vegetables are bean sprouts. The shape of the pot is unique, but I understood the explanation from the owner - cook the meat on the edge, let the vegetables absorb the oil. I think it was loin, but the owner cooked and cut it for us, and it was perfectly fluffy and tender. Even if you're not used to eating Genghis Khan, this restaurant is fine. It will surely break the concept of lamb meat in a good way. I recommend sitting at the counter and having it cooked for you. Reservation required! For middle-aged and older people, one serving of each part is a sufficient amount. One serving is about 80 grams.

The lamb chops and Genghis Khan were delicious with little gaminess! The meat was tender and fresh, and the ginger added a nice touch. The vegetables were also tasty. And you can't miss out on the cold noodles. This place is a must-visit!
