Today's meeting is at "Daruma-ya," a seafood izakaya located in Takikawa, which is in the top three. This place used to be called "Yorozu no Taki" and then "Danma-ya Suisan," right next to "Gurume Factory." After being seated, we ordered drinks and then studied the menu. Once we ordered our dishes, the appetizers started coming out. We had simmered saury, fried cartilage and octopus, creamy egg, ham and Caesar salad, chicken wings, fried squid, chicken skewers, white pizza, pork skewers, cheesy mochi balls, and squid, salmon, and salmon roe to finish. Each dish was reasonably delicious, especially the white pizza with a hint of perilla. However, compared to major chain restaurants, it's a bit on the pricey side.
