They offer two blends and around 10 single-origin coffees, brewed using the pour-over method. I tried two cups of coffee, both meticulously picked to avoid any unpleasant acidity or bitterness, resulting in a gentle and refreshing flavor. Mr. Yan mentioned that they handpick the defective beans twice, before and after roasting. This shop doesn't just offer specialty coffee, but truly delivers on the promise of specialty coffee. The regular menu includes cheesecake and flan, a common French dessert. I tried the flan, which was not only delicious but also reasonably priced.

"Reserve Coffee Shop" is a popular coffee shop in Takatsuki, Osaka, founded in 2010 by a disciple of the "Tokyo Coffee Four Heavenly Kings" Cafe Bach. Personally, I had marked this place as a spot to visit during my previous trips to Osaka, but I never found the right timing until today. The shop has a renovated machiya-style exterior with lattice doors, giving it a charming atmosphere. The interior is not very spacious but has a relaxed and calm atmosphere. You can even see the roasting room through a glass window in the back left corner. There are table and counter seats, and when I visited around 4 pm, the shop was about 70% full. I ordered the French Blend (600 yen) after some consideration. The French Blend, a deep roasted coffee made in-house, had a pleasant aroma. It had a deep flavor with a hint of bitterness typical of dark roasts, but it ended with a refreshing aftertaste, making it easy to drink and delicious. The weather was nice today, and the sunlight coming through the lattice doors added to the pleasant atmosphere. Despite not choosing the exact roast I was looking for, I could sense the high quality in the cup and was more than satisfied. Although the location is a bit far from the station, the popularity of the shop is understandable, and the cozy atmosphere made it a comfortable experience. I would like to visit again when I come to this area and try a different coffee.
