I heard about this place from my mom friends and also saw that MyReviewer had been there, so I decided to check it out in response to my youngest child's request. It's tucked away on the second floor a bit off the main street. Despite that, the place was filling up with customers quickly. Even on a snowy day with bad weather, it seemed like a popular spot. Soft drinks were 230 yen. The cola came in a bottle, and when I accidentally spilled some while opening it, they quickly brought a cloth to clean it up. Sorry about that. My youngest wanted to eat tongue, kalbi, and harami, so we ordered the "luxury set" which had all three. We ended up getting full halfway through, so the portion size was just right. Personally, I thought the harami was the most delicious! The rest was pretty average. The key to good yakiniku is the sauce, but this one was just okay. We also ordered the "chibi tongue" for 400 yen, and it was a surprisingly large portion! Great value for the price. However, the taste was just average for a 400 yen dish. It's a good option if you want a little more to eat. We chose the sesame dressing for the daikon salad, and it was quite filling. The enzymes in the raw daikon seemed like they would help with digesting the meat. Thank you for the meal!

I heard about a new yakiniku restaurant opening, and finally had the chance to visit after some time had passed. I couldn't go alone, and since it was a new establishment, I heard it was always full. So, I was looking forward to my visit. The restaurant is located a little west of the Yumbei Street in Urakawa Town. It's on the second floor of a building with a noticeable signboard. The interior is brand new and clean. There are tables with chairs as well as a few private rooms with partitions for a more personal dining experience. I tried a variety of meats, and the seseri and harami were particularly delicious. The seasoning was just right (a bit on the stronger side). They also had affordable kalbi (family kalbi) with slightly more fat, but marinated in a sauce similar to store-bought seasoned kalbi, surprisingly tasty (of course, much better than store-bought). The kakuteki, with its sweet and savory flavor, was to my liking and went well with rice. I was curious about their ramen, so I ordered the yukkejang ramen, which was too spicy for my companion (laughs). The miso ramen (rich) and salt ramen (light) exceeded my expectations in taste, better than your average ramen shop. I haven't tried all the menu items yet, but I was pleasantly surprised by the flavors, so I might go back soon.
