Surely there are some people who do not like it. The reviews from those who have eaten there are also mixed. However!! It really resonates with me (*´∀`*) Following my previous visit to "Oda-ya," I went to another Yokohama-style ramen restaurant, "Takeda-ya Asahikawa Branch." Located at Kaibutsu Park, 3-8-cho, Asahikawa City, the map is here → https://goo.gl/maps/ab8VSUaFuQD2. Open from 11:00 to 14:00 and 17:00 to 1:00 (open until 3:00 the day before holidays, open until 24:00 on Sundays), closed on Mondays. No parking available, non-smoking. By the way, which is correct, Yokohama-style or Yokohama-style? The signboard has both written on it. As expected, being located on Kaibutsu Park Street, they are open until late. The closing ramen is too rich, but still (laughs) just like Oda-ya in Nagayama, they also have a ticket vending machine. And I found a different item on the menu. They have miso ramen!! (which was not available at Oda-ya in Nagayama) The interior of the restaurant has a similar feel. But it's compact. The seats are narrow and the tables are small. But the tabletops are lively (laughs). Since there were two of us, we started with this. Special Tsukemen for 850 yen. The thick noodles are still as thick as ever, almost like udon. The dipping sauce is warm. This one is quite rich too. Truly Yokohama-style. The scent of bonito broth is strong. But compared to regular ramen, it's (for Yokohama-style) quite light and easy to eat. Another one. Of course, this one! Gotta try it! Tonkotsu Shio Ramen for 750 yen with a topping of flavored egg for 100 yen. And we got a free side of rice. Hmm, hmm, this one! It's rich, heavy, and salty! (laughs) But! Occasionally, I crave it! It has an addictive richness. It's a taste that really resonates with me. Once I eat it, I think, "I'm good for a while," but as time goes by, only the memory of how delicious it was remains (laughs) and I find myself craving it again. When will be the next time I eat it...
