I ordered chicken pho and the newly trending egg coffee from Vietnam, located just near Hamadayama Station! The pho was incredibly delicious. Since it’s chicken, the broth was light and refreshing. Plus, it’s only 880 yen, which is fantastic! I was told the egg coffee would take a little time to prepare, but I was able to enjoy it right after finishing the pho. It was a lightly sweet coffee with a distinct egg flavor. I definitely want to try other pho variations, and I'm also curious about the banh mi and curry, so I’ll definitely be going back!
This is a Vietnamese restaurant and dog café located just 20 seconds on foot from Hamadayama Station. Their recommended dish is the cold dipping noodles pho, priced at 1,100 yen. The pho is served on a flat plate and topped with chicken thigh, komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach), and green onions. On a separate plate, you get cilantro, lemon, and what seems to be Vietnamese chili oil, which is spicy. The noodles are already seasoned with fish sauce, so they are delicious on their own. You dip them into the slightly spicy and runny dipping sauce. It's really tasty! This is a new experience for me, and I want to keep coming back to try various dishes.
Recently, I wanted to eat curry, so I stopped by a Vietnamese restaurant and chose the King Curry, lassi, and a mini salad. I could enjoy three types of curry: Cyclo, Saigon, and Mekong, which was great for someone like me who loves variety.
The first bite of Cyclo was incredibly spicy, and I thought I couldn’t handle it. However, after eating some potato and getting used to the curry’s soupiness, I couldn’t resist and ended up finishing the Cyclo without even putting it on rice. It was surprisingly enjoyable! The other two curries were also great, with one being moderately spicy and the other sweet.
I thought it would be nice to have pickles or fukujinzuke (Japanese pickled vegetables) to enhance the experience even more. I also want to try pho and the combination of curry with Thai basil rice and spring rolls. There are so many dishes to enjoy!

I had plans at Hamadayama Station and was browsing Tabelog to decide on lunch when I found this restaurant. It was right across the tracks, and since it was lunchtime, it was quite busy. There were about three lunch menu options, all of which looked delicious, but I was intrigued by the Vietnamese curry, so I decided to order it. I opted for the "Cyclo Curry," which is a spicy tomato-based curry!
The interior had a calming ambiance with dim lighting, though I wasn't quite sure if it felt distinctly Vietnamese. After a short wait, the Cyclo Curry arrived. It looked similar to soup curry, with the rice served on a plate and some pickled vegetables on the side. Not knowing how to eat soup curry, I decided to do what I usually do and poured the curry over the rice.
The curry had generous chunks of vegetables that were well-cooked, and the flavors had thoroughly penetrated them, making it very tasty. The chicken was also tender. It was so delicious that I finished it all. However, those with a bigger appetite might find it a bit insufficient. The restaurant also offers banh mi and pho, so I think I will try various dishes next time!
It is located near the railroad crossing by Hamadayama Station. The chicken pho has a deliciously light broth infused with a flavorful cilantro that you'll want to drink up. After your meal, you'll feel warm all the way to your core. There are plenty of other options on the menu, including curry. It's a place that's easy to dine alone.

The chicken pho is smooth and flat, making it very easy to eat. Even when I don't have much appetite, I can still enjoy it. The broth is delicious, with a strong flavor from the chicken that makes the soup tasty. There's a good amount of chicken on top, and it's really good!
