I visited Mitsui Outlet Park for the first time in a while on a weekday in March 2023. There were a lot more foreign tourists. I tried this restaurant for lunch, which I had never been to before. I ordered the set with roast beef and fried chicken. The roast beef was delicious, but the sauce was too strong! The fried chicken was served with plenty of tartar sauce. The rice was moist with sauce, which I like, but it was too rich. The miso soup was surprisingly thin, I thought they may have made a mistake in the quantity.

I visited a new restaurant for lunch today. I decided to try the roast beef and beef toro flakes on rice bowl. The melt-in-your-mouth texture of the beef toro complemented the deliciousness of the dish. They have a wide variety of options with roast beef, so it was a bit difficult to choose. It seems quite different from the photo - typical son behavior, right (^^;;)? The roast beef was definitely more delicious than the beef tongue. For some reason, you can add extra toppings to your tsukemen, but for some reason, miso soup costs extra. I wonder why that is. Since it's tsukemen, there's no broth, and there's no soba-yu either. Why is that? Even though I tried mixing the roast beef with the egg, it was a bit tough, and I ended up wanting some soup. In the end, I just poured in some water... Maybe there's a specific way to eat it that I don't know about. The garnish of ginger looked like the real thing for a moment, but it turned out to be commercial. For those with allergies, please be cautious.

I was supposed to be in Muroran by now, but Sapporo was so congested that I finally reached the highway entrance. Thinking about changing my plans, I decided to stop here and have lunch. I noticed that a food court had opened in addition to Parco. I opted for the beef toro and roast beef bowl, which was 64 yen cheaper, so I immediately decided to try it. The staff was very friendly. The miso soup came with colorful pickles. The pickles didn't seem like something YOSHIMI would serve and I didn't really need them, but I guess it's not acceptable to skip them. The beef toro melted nicely on the warm rice, although the rice wasn't that warm. The roast beef was also delicious, with a refined jelly that I liked. It's something you can eat even if it's not Christmas. There were also sets like cold ramen, which felt a bit out of place, but as long as it tastes good, it's okay. The price was just over 1300 yen for the steak, which seems to be the border line for tax-excluded prices. I've experienced this at Parco before. The meat used is Kitaurushi, a Hokkaido brand beef. There were many inbound tourists that day, so this dish may be considered a typical Hokkaido food. It was a delicious meal.

YOSHIMI series, the tonkatsu from Katsuyama was delicious and replaced the Western food, which is unnecessary in this restaurant. Although the Western food is still available, I decided to come here because the miso soup with nameko mushrooms looked delicious. I hesitated between ordering the roast beef, as I had tried it at Western YOSHIMI before, but in the end, I chose the set meal with roast beef and something else. The price starts at 1080 yen, which is not cheap. I skipped the gyudon because it needs good quality meat to taste good. In the end, I ordered the Chicken Nanban & Roast Beef Bowl (1080 yen) and oolong tea. The roast beef tasted similar to what I had at Western YOSHIMI before, maybe the meat was slightly better, but the sauce still had a cheap, family restaurant feel. It was not bad, though. Choosing the Chicken Nanban instead of the fried chicken set was the right decision. The delicious tartar sauce made the pre-made fried chicken tasty, just like at Katsuyama. The rice was delicious, and the pickles were the same as at Katsuyama, which were also tasty. The miso soup did not have the nameko mushrooms I was looking for! They should mention that it varies depending on the day! I was not fully satisfied, but overall, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the Mitsui Outlet Park for their New Year's sale and had dinner at the food court. I chose a special deal which included both beef toro and roast beef bowl for 1,100 yen. The roast beef was average. The miso soup with lots of mushrooms was delicious. I wish they had a separate bowl with just beef toro because I wanted more of it.

I went to YOSHIMI at Mitsui Outlet Park Sapporo Kitahiroshima store! It's been a while since I went shopping in Kitahiroshima at the end of the year. I decided to check out the food court for the first time in about a year. Oh, it looks like a new store! But there's also a Western-style restaurant YOSHIMI here, so I wonder what the difference is. I was interested in the roast beef bowl, so I splurged a bit and ordered it! I went for the Hokkaido beef and roast beef bowl for the special opening price of 1,210 yen. It only took about 5 minutes for the bell to ring. It came with miso soup and pickles on a tray. Let's dig in! The fatty beef is delicious and the roast beef is also good. The combination of egg, green onions, and special sauce enhances the flavor even more. Maybe it's because I don't eat it often, but it was really delicious! By the way, the miso soup and pickles were also above average. The price is a bit high, but if it's once a year, it's worth it. Thank you for the meal!

Mitsui Outlet Mall has a new specialty roast beef shop in the food court! I saw it on Miyu-chan's review and decided to go try it out. The location used to be a tonkatsu restaurant but they changed to a roast beef specialty shop. Right now, they have a special opening promotion where you can get the "Beef Toro & Roast Beef Bowl" for 1210 yen instead of the regular price of 1280 yen, which is a 70 yen discount! I ordered the "Beef Toro & Roast Beef Bowl" for my companion and the "Chicken Nanban & Roast Beef Bowl" for myself since I don't eat raw meat. The roast beef was incredibly tender and flavorful, and the chicken nanban was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, very delicious! I saw someone else eating the steak & roast beef and it looked amazing, so I'll try that next time. Thank you, Yoshimi-san!

Mitsui Outlet Park 2F, the former location of Tonkatsu Katsuyama, now a roast beef restaurant. They also have a branch at Sapporo Parco. I had the D set, which includes steak and roast beef bowl for 1,740 yen. The menu offers a variety of beef and roast beef bowls, with the option of a large serving. I chose the steak. The staff recommended adding zangi, so I got the set with 2 zangi and miso soup. The steak was tender with a refreshing sauce, and the roast beef was delicious. They use Hokkaido brand beef from Kitaujiri and new crop special grade A rice. The zangi looked tough on the outside but was juicy inside. The miso soup was filled with mushrooms. The beef sukiyaki meat was thinly sliced and easy to eat, with a flavorful seasoning. They also have a limited-time special of beef and roast beef bowl for 1,210 yen. I also noticed a new Sapporo cold ramen place, which I will try next time. Overall, it was a delicious meal.
