I visited the sushi restaurant because I wanted to eat shishamo sushi. However, when I asked the staff, they said that there has been a poor catch this year and they haven't received any shishamo. I was really disappointed as I came specifically for that. I decided to move on and order from other menu items instead. I ordered a tomato and cottage cheese salad, pork belly skewers, chicken thigh skewers, a sashimi assortment, and mackerel and squid sushi to finish. Although it's a sushi restaurant, it's nice to have a variety of options such as skewers and fried dishes. As for the sushi, the rice seemed a bit dry at first glance. The grains also seemed lacking in quality. The size of the rice and fish was a bit small, making it more like a bite-sized piece. When I tried it, the rice was indeed not up to par. The seasoning could have been a bit lighter. It felt slightly too firm. The sashimi pieces were also on the smaller side overall. In terms of sushi alone, I would rate it around 2 to 2.5, but the skewers were really delicious. The pork belly had a good balance of meat and fat, cooked perfectly with just the right amount of salt. The chicken thigh had a nice chewy texture and was very tasty. Although both skewers only came with 3 pieces of meat each and the price was a bit high, the taste made up for it. It may not have the best cost performance, but I felt like the taste made it worth it. It's a sushi restaurant, but it's a place where the skewers are delicious.

When I went there before, they happened to be closed so I couldn't eat. I had confirmed over the phone that there was "no lunch menu" at that time, so this time I was prepared to spend a certain amount. By the way, they are open for lunch from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, and for dinner from 4:30 pm. There were various drink and grilled menu options, but they said "only sushi for lunch"! Since there was no lunch menu, I selected from the nigiri sushi and placed my order. I decided to go with the middle option of 9 pieces of sushi for 1500 yen (including tax, it's around 1620 yen). I sat at the counter, and instead of serving one by one, they plated all the sushi and brought it out. The toppings were tuna, scallop, salmon, flying fish roe, salmon roe, shrimp, and three types of white fish (I couldn't tell the difference...). The white fish had thinly sliced sudachi citrus on top, giving it a refreshing taste! The flavor of this sudachi was so delicious that I ended up putting it on the other toppings too. The rice was a bit smaller and had an elegant feel. Everything was neatly prepared and looked beautiful. It was delicious to eat. The miso soup only had tofu and shiso leaves, but the shiso leaves were also refreshing and tasty! It was a refreshing sushi experience with sudachi and shiso leaves. I was completely satisfied with my 1500 yen worth. Thank you for the meal! I would like to come back for the evening izakaya-style menu.

This is my third time visiting this restaurant. The private rooms are designed in a way that you cannot see inside from the hallway, which creates a very calm and relaxing atmosphere for dining. I tend to unwind and enjoy my meal at a leisurely pace. The menu offers a variety of dishes, and the sushi is quite delicious. The restaurant's layout and ambiance make it suitable for dining with anyone. The establishment is run by a family, and the friendly and cheerful female owner provides pleasant service.
