"Yakitori Sakaba 55" offers delicious, freshly grilled domestic chicken at reasonable prices and is located in the shopping street from Keikyu-Kamata Station to Kamata Station, lined with dining establishments! I visited on Saturday at 7:00 PM with a reservation, and the place was always full. There’s a counter, making it a great spot for solo diners as well. Upon entering the restaurant, the friendliness of the staff immediately caught my attention! The cheerful and energetic service created a lively atmosphere inside the venue. Although it's a yakitori restaurant, the a la carte menu is quite extensive with many tempting options! - Satsuma Chicken Sashimi - Satsuma Chicken Sashimi Yukhoe - Grilled Akadori Chicken Thigh: ¥990 The skin is crispy, and the inside is juicy! ✨ - Potato Salad: ¥490 Creamy and even more delicious when eaten with the soft-boiled egg! - Hot Dashi Tamagoyaki: ¥690 It's soft, and the hot dashi bursts out—absolutely delicious! - Daizen Chicken Negima Large Skewer: ¥280 - Chicken Wings: ¥300 - Meat-Wrapped Tomato: ¥250 - Grilled Corn: ¥350 Grilled over charcoal, seasoned perfectly—it's been a while since I've had such delicious grilled corn! 😊 - Grilled Chicken Breast (Wasabi, Plum, Yuzu Pepper): Each ¥430 The rare-grilled chicken breast is tender. The wasabi gives a nice kick, while the plum and shiso are refreshing and tasty! - Tsukune with Egg Yolk and Cheese: ¥500 This juicy tsukune grilled over charcoal, topped with cheese and dipped in the egg yolk sauce, is simply the best! Finally, for dessert: - Pan Ice: ¥490 - Monaka Ice: ¥490 - Cream Soda (with alcohol): I thought the Pan Ice might be too heavy after the meal, but it was surprisingly light and delicious with the ice cream! The adult cream soda, with alcohol, was a refreshing and perfect ending to the meal. "Yakitori Sakaba 55" in Kamata is currently a hot spot—highly recommended!

I couldn’t believe it when our chief was hit by the flu, and while I was thinking, "That sounds tough," suddenly I was called in as a substitute. With preparations for Tokushima still incomplete, I was sad that my precious day off during the final week of autumn leaves was gone. I somehow managed to take on the duty at Ume-yashiki, and I hope I fulfilled my responsibility. It was a great experience for me. The seniors had a little year-end party planned, and I was fortunate to join them along with two from the Osaka team for both the year-end party and the celebration. We enjoyed some delicious chicken dishes for the first time in Kamata, which is known as a deep town, but I found it to be a well-organized, pleasant place with a truly lively yakitori pub atmosphere. The energetic voices of the staff there lifted my spirits! As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by wooden tables and walls reminiscent of waves, balanced lighting, and stylish fixtures, creating a warm and comfortable space. We settled into a cozy table and ordered a variety of dishes. Among them were: - Meat-wrapped tomatoes - Grilled shiitake mushrooms, rich in flavor this season - Grilled corn on a skewer - Assorted sashimi, featuring chicken breast and thigh - Satsuma chicken tataki, with great texture and taste - Hot out-of-the-pan dashi-maki tamago, fluffy and creamy - Grilled chicken neck (seseri), with wonderful texture and flavor - Grilled chicken breast with wasabi - Oyamadori hot pot, available from just one order, customizable; I added marony noodles without hesitation, bringing a light yet rich flavor - Potato salad with a half-boiled egg drizzled on top - Quail eggs - Meat-miso stuffed peppers—crunchy and delicious - Bang Bang chicken with cold tofu - Fried red sausages—my guilty pleasure! - The best egg-over-rice—rich egg with bonito and green onion - Chicken paitan noodles with tsukune (meatballs) as a perfect way to finish - Tsukune topped with an egg yolk, incredibly rich and satisfying For drinks, we had: - Draft beer - Red eye cocktail - Jim Beam highball, all served in glasses emblazoned with a "55" logo that really boosted my mood! They procure fresh domestic chicken daily and grill it to perfection with their secret sauce, making everything utterly delicious. Each piece was substantial, showcasing why it’s called a “yakitori pub” rather than just a standard yakitori place. The energy from the staff energized us, and their attentive service was a great learning experience. The prices were reasonable, and the taste, atmosphere, and customer service were all outstanding. Since this was my first visit to Kamata, I learned there are nearby attractions like Haneda Shrine and Anamori Inari Shrine, so I look forward to exploring this lovely area in more detail next time. Although my day off was lost, I had a wonderful time. Thank you for a fantastic meal—I’ll definitely be back!

I had a drink in the deep neighborhood of Kamata. When you think of Kamata, it has a somewhat gritty image, but the izakaya I visited near the Keikyu side was quite nice. The chicken sashimi was fresh, and the condiments complemented it well. It was my first time trying the chōchin, which is the chicken ovary; it was rich with egg yolk and sauce, making it very delicious. I'm grateful for this life. The chicken bone broth ramen included chicken meatballs, making it perfect for finishing off the meal! The staff's service was great too. Thank you for the meal! If you drink in Kamata, I highly recommend it.

I visited "Yakitori Sakaba 55 Keikyu Kamata," located at Kamata Station. Yakitori Sakaba 55 has two locations in Kamata, and there’s a nearby establishment serving hormone grilled meats. I was craving yakitori, so I stopped by after work. I arrived just before 7 PM and was easily seated at the counter. The interior was quite clean, as if it had just opened. The staff were very lively and provided polite service, which was impressive. You can place orders verbally, but they use a QR code system for ordering. (It automatically registers you on LINE, using a service called Dainy.) I tried several items: - Ooyama Chicken Thigh Large Skewer - 280 yen - Sunagimo (gizzard) - 180 yen - Ponjiri (fatty part of the chicken) - 180 yen - Tsukune (chicken meatball) - 230 yen The Ooyama Chicken Thigh was indeed excellent; it was tender, large, and delicious! The sunagimo had a nice crunch, providing a good texture. The ponjiri had a fantastic taste, and the tsukune was a bit firmer but had a great bite and paired well with the sauce. I also tried the Hot and Fluffy Tamagoyaki - 690 yen. This seems to be a signature dish. It was hot, creamy, and delicious! The Potato Salad - 490 yen is also a specialty here. It's like a paste topped with an egg, and has a flavor reminiscent of mentaiko (spicy cod roe), making it different from regular potato salad. For drinks, I had a draft beer - 550 yen, and a Hoppy Black Set - 500 yen (which included two medium sizes at 220 yen each and one strong size at 100 yen). The medium size uses Kinmiya, and while the usual amounts are on the smaller side, you can upgrade for just 100 yen. Overall, it was tasty! The service was great, and it's a perfect spot for a casual drink. If you're in Kamata and want to enjoy some yakitori, this place comes highly recommended!

Personal Rating ◇Taste: ★★★★☆ ◇Ambiance: ★★★★☆ ◇Satisfaction: ★★★★☆ ◇Cost Performance: ★★★★☆ ◇Uniqueness: ★★★★☆ Recommend Score: 8.9/10 Budget: 3000 yen or more Recommended for: ◇Those who want to drink in a stylish casual tavern ◇Those who want to eat hearty chicken dishes ◇Those who want to go to a place where everything tastes great and has a sense of stability --- I would like to introduce my favorite, Five Family. I have previously visited both a hormone restaurant and a casual tavern, both of which were excellent, so with high expectations, I headed to "Yakitori Tavern 55." Although it is a bit far at over 10 minutes walk from JR Kamata Station, it is just a 2-minute walk from Keikyu Kamata Station, located near the entrance of the shopping street. **Ambiance:** Among the three places I visited, this had the most user-friendly atmosphere. It has an open seating style typical of a casual tavern, but since it's a new establishment, it’s very clean and comfortable! It’s one of the more accessible casual taverns in Kamata. The staff’s hospitality is quite good, creating a pleasant environment. **Food:** - **"Meat Sashimi Platter"… 1980 yen** A delicious serving of chicken sashimi has arrived! It features Satsuma chicken thigh, breast, and yukhoe, a luxurious trio. First off, it looks great and tastes amazing! The thigh has a great muscular texture, and the breast is tender and refreshing. I pour the miso sauce on the yukhoe and enjoy it with an egg. It’s so good! The sauce has a rich flavor, and combined with the tender texture and chicken flavor, it's fantastic. - **"Dashi-Maki Tamago (with salmon roe)"** This rolled omelet is so delicious! I can't believe how fluffy it is; it feels heavenly. The popping texture of the salmon roe adds a great accent! - **"Liver"… 160 yen** The airy texture of fresh liver is pleasant, and the aroma while cooking wafts beautifully. Even those who dislike liver will find this one easy to enjoy. - **"Large Negima Skewers (Daisen Chicken)"… 280 yen** These are served with salt. The skewer is so big that I want to comment on its size! It's very satisfying and the tastiness of the grilled chicken is evident, even in the negima (chicken and green onion). - **"Chicken Wings"… 300 yen** I don't usually order chicken wings because they can be a hassle to eat, but I tried them based on recommendations! Wow, this is a skewer you shouldn't miss; it's very satisfying, tender, and juicy. - **"Tsukune with Egg"… 500 yen** "Whoa, it's huge!" The tsukune (chicken meatball) is massive and very filling. - **"Potato Salad"… 490 yen** Potato salad topped with egg! The egg is mashed into the potato salad made with egg and mayonnaise, making it fun to eat. The accents of bacon and fried onion are great, and it’s surprisingly satisfying despite its simple ingredients. - **"Steamed Gyoza"… 1090 yen** The gentle chicken broth with tender gyoza is guaranteed to be delicious! I think this is quite reasonable for the amount at 1090 yen. To finish off, we had: - **"Champon"… 320 yen** The slightly thicker noodles are chewy and easy to eat, slipping down smoothly even for a final dish. There were no misses here! Just amazing! **Pricing:** - **"Draft Beer (medium)"… 550 yen** - **"Chuhai"… starting from 400 yen** - **"Highball"… starting from 430 yen** The dishes often range around 200 yen or below for skewers and around 400 yen for side dishes, making the food feel more affordable compared to drinks! **Overall Impression:** As mentioned earlier, the quality of the food, pricing, ambiance, and service make it clear why this place is popular. If someone asks me for a recommended restaurant in Kamata, I can confidently recommend this one! I had an excellent meal once again. --- I share my thoughts on dining experiences mainly around Tokyo (especially Ikebukuro). If you click the like or save button below, it motivates me a lot, so please consider doing so! ▼I also have an Instagram @gurume_uc

All the dishes were delicious! I went when they opened on the weekend, but it quickly became crowded. Since it's a popular place, it's a good idea to make a reservation before going. The sashimi was incredibly delicious, and I want to eat it again. The rolled omelette with overflowing dashi and topped with ikura was not only visually appealing but also had a flavor that makes you want to eat it again. The bright atmosphere makes it easy for women to feel comfortable.

The interior gives a bright and clean impression. The staff's energetic vibe makes it feel like an exciting and lively izakaya. While they primarily focus on yakitori, the menu is diverse with plenty of chicken dishes available, both skewered and others. Overall, the food is delicious, and the drinks are flowing! My personal favorite dish is the "Red Chicken Thigh Grill." They serve a whole thigh boldly grilled and cut, seasoned and presented perfectly. The skin is crispy while the inside remains juicy, bringing out the best qualities of the chicken—it's an outstanding dish. I enjoyed the atmosphere, service, and taste from start to finish! ★ A beautiful and lively yakitori restaurant that's easy for women to enter ★ You can order from over 20 types of skewers, starting from just one, so you can enjoy exactly what you like ❤️ The chicken sashimi is absolutely delicious, and with so many flavor variations, you won't get bored! This popular spot remains busy even on weekdays. It's a casual yakitori place just a 2-minute walk from Keikyu Kamata Station, making it easy for women to feel comfortable dining alone. Personally, I love this restaurant, which is part of the 55 Series. This time, I enjoyed even more incredible yakitori than I expected! With about 20 types of skewers available, it’s great that you can order not just chicken, but also a variety of vegetable skewers, and being able to order just one is fantastic! You can enjoy your favorites without worrying about others around you. My personal favorite was the chicken wings, they were delicious! My top recommendation is the "assorted raw chicken" for 1980 yen. At other places, you might get a smaller portion, but here, you can eat plenty of chicken sashimi to your heart's content! It's fresh and free from unpleasant odors, so there's no need to worry about that. It's incredibly tender and tasty. I recommend eating it with the miso sauce✨ The black honey kinako ice cream was super delicious, so it's a must-try as well. I was thrilled to get two scoops! The drink menu is extensive, and you can customize your drinks to be either "strong" or "light." Despite it being a weekday, by around 7:30 PM, the place was quite packed, so it’s better to make a reservation. I’m excited to have discovered another favorite restaurant!

Just a 2-minute walk from Keikyu Kamata Station, I visited Yakitori Sakaba 55 located in a shopping street! I went for lunchtime drinking on a Saturday, and the place was quite lively. Here’s what I had from their menu: ______________________ - Assorted meat sashimi - Ikura dashi-maki tamago (egg omelet) - Grilled skewers (Negima large skewers, chicken wings, chou chin, tsukune with egg yolk, liver, cartilage, heart) - Vegetable skewers (meat-wrapped tomato, meat-wrapped asparagus, grilled corn) - Grilled chicken breast with wasabi - Potato salad - Mascarpone and sweet potato mix - Tuna sashimi - Chicken thigh karaage (fried chicken) - Octopus karaage - Oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl) - Pan ice (ice cream in bread) ______________________ The meat sashimi consisted of chicken breast, thigh, and chicken sashimi. The texture was excellent, and the umami flavor really spread as I chewed. It was especially delicious with yuzu pepper, ginger, and ponzu for a refreshing taste. The dashi-maki tamago was freshly made with a plump egg that you add ikura (salmon roe) to yourself! It was exciting. Not just for its appearance, but the egg soaked in dashi combined with the popping flavor of ikura was absolutely delicious. Every grilled skewer was tasty! My favorites were the Negima and heart. The meat was tender yet had a firm texture, perfect for pairing with alcohol. I ended with the oyakodon, which had juicy chicken and rich, soft eggs that paired perfectly with the rice. I was already full, but I couldn’t stop eating and finished it all. For dessert, I had pan ice. The warm bread with melting cold ice cream created a sense of indulgence that was incredibly delicious. Drizzling it with honey made it a truly heavenly treat. This is definitely a must-try for dessert lovers. The staff were always cheerful and provided great service, making for a wonderfully enjoyable time filled with delicious food! Thank you for the amazing meal!

The interior was beautiful since it was a recently built, stylish building. The food was neither particularly bad nor exceptionally good, but I would categorize it as tasty. There was a sense that the Oyamadori chicken wasn't very fresh, but the Satsuma jidori chicken sashimi was delicious. The service was unremarkable but acceptable. I think the pricing for the Oyamadori chicken is quite good, and overall, the prices were reasonable. However, the seating was a bit cramped and noisy, making it uncomfortable. Aside from that, it was mostly positive. Thank you for the meal.

The izakaya specializing in delicious yakitori offers a wide variety of dishes with perfectly balanced grilling. The meat is tender and juicy, and the chicken wings, in particular, bring out the best flavor of the chicken! ✨ The menu is filled with side dishes, and the Satsuma chicken sashimi is thick and tender for both the thigh and breast meat, which can be enjoyed fresh and light with yuzu pepper or ponzu sauce. The ikura (salmon roe) dashi rolled omelet is a luxurious dish, bursting with egg flavor and the delightful pop of fresh roe. To wrap up your meal, I highly recommend the oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl). The chicken is soft, the egg is fluffy, and the rich dashi flavor makes it hard to resist going for more. ✨ There is also a wide selection of drinks available, and the "Mango Sour with Chunks" lives up to its name, packed with lots of mango pieces and perfect for enjoying as a dessert-like beverage. This yakitori restaurant has no appetizer charge, just a seating fee of 100 yen, allowing you to choose whatever you like, which is a big draw. ☺️ The taste exceeds the price value, making it popular even on weekdays, bustling with customers. They also offer course menus, making it easy to use for gatherings. If you're nearby, definitely check it out!

Surprisingly, the quality and atmosphere are high-class, contrary to what I imagined of this area… (By the way, it's smoking-friendly—a big plus!) ⁡ First off, it’s been ages since I had chicken sashimi✌️. It was fresh, firm, and delicious—no odor at all! I dipped it in plenty of garlic, and it was perfect. After the workshop, I visited a place that had a high rating on Tabelog. I ordered quail eggs, chicken liver skewers, and chicken skin skewers as appetizers. The quail eggs had a deep color but were just right for making me crave some drinks. The chicken skin was crispy and delicious. I ordered a beer as well, but it wasn’t very good—maybe it was a problem with the tap. Thank you for the meal!

Right near Keikyu Kamata Station, there's a lively izakaya hidden in a shopping street! I visited early in the evening on a holiday, and it was bustling with people (^ ^). ● The grilled skewers are amazing! The collaboration of plump, satisfying Ohyama chicken and green onions is exceptional! The meat is moist and juicy ⭐️. The chicken wings are crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned—it’s delicious! Even one skewer is quite filling, and I was very satisfied! This is a must-try! ● The clams dashi rolled omelette is something you won’t find anywhere else—it's a new take on the rolled omelette! It’s served bubbling hot! The omelette soaked in clam broth is incredibly soft and fluffy! The gentle flavor seeps through, making it addictive! It’s perfect for the colder months ahead (^^). ● The final dish was the chicken and egg bowl. This one is a treat ★! The luxurious experience of breaking the egg yolk is irresistible! The creamy texture is simply divine, and it’s fun to assemble it yourself! Despite being a yakitori izakaya, the menu is incredibly diverse with options like raw chicken sashimi, egg dishes, and plenty of snacks! You can’t go wrong with whatever you order! The desserts are also delicious! I visited around 5 PM, and it was already packed with customers! More people kept coming in after that! It seems like reserving a spot or aiming for an early lunch is the way to go ★.

This izakaya is located right near the bustling Keikyu Kamata Station. It specializes in grilled chicken using Oya chicken, and the food was very delicious. The highlight was the chicken salt stew, which had a richness in flavor while still being gentle. The meat was tender and falling apart, and the bamboo shoots absorbed the flavors perfectly, making it soothing on a cold night. The staff's service was great, full of energy and left a good impression! I will definitely come back again. Thank you for the meal!

I always passed by "Yakitori Sakaba 55" because it was always crowded, but when we peeked in as a party of two, two people had just left, and we were able to sit at the counter. What luck! However, there was a two-hour time limit. We opted for the red star beer, a medium-sized bottle for 600 yen with tax included, and shared it to toast! Indeed, the red star is delicious! We quickly grabbed some snacks from the counter and tried the quail eggs for 390 yen, which were incredibly tasty! The yolks were creamy and very delicious. The meat miso cucumber for 390 yen paired well with the drinks; I was a bit worried about the stringy texture, though. I ordered the black hoppy set for 500 yen with an extra strong shot for 100 yen, but given that it was already on the expensive side, it didn't quite impress me. The bonjiri (chicken tail) for 180 yen and the skin for 150 yen were seasoned with salt. While labeled as "Daisen chicken," the skewers were just okay—rich in texture but not particularly remarkable. The heart (hatsu) for 180 yen was fine, and the liver in tare (sweet sauce) was at a tolerable level. The large skewered Daisen chicken with green onion (280 yen) was delicious. It seems not all parts might be Daisen chicken, though. I ordered the hoppy middle (200 yen) with an extra shot twice. The hoppy outside was as usual, and I had three rounds before calling it a day. The nagaimo (Japanese yam) with wasabi pickles for 398 yen was quite tasty! It made the drinks go down easily. I finished with a tomato drink for 580 yen, which was thick and delicious, almost like drinking tomato juice, but I didn't feel like I was drunk. The service was excellent, with great communication and a wonderful response when a dish was accidentally dropped. However, the level of the yakitori was average. The best items were the quail eggs and the nagaimo. There are higher-level restaurants nearby, so I think I’ll go there next time. After two hours, we were notified to leave. I paid with a card, and the total came to a little over 6,000 yen. It was a nice experience to check out the place.

On a Sunday evening, we visited the restaurant without a reservation and were fortunate to be seated at the counter just in time. After letting the staff know our first drink order, we placed the rest of our orders via a QR code. There is also a menu available, but since it's text-only, I found it helpful to check some intriguing items on my phone, where images are available. Additionally, there were items not listed on the menu, and "SOLD OUT" notifications appear when something is unavailable. The staff, including what seemed to be the manager, were all energetic and provided friendly service, making for a pleasant experience. The dashi omelet was quite large and packed with rich flavor, making it very delicious. The prices are also wallet-friendly, which is appreciated. For two people, the counter might be more comfortable than a table as the tables are quite close to each other. The skewers were perfectly grilled as well. I am definitely planning to come back!

**Yakitori Sake Bar 55 - Keikyu Kamata Branch** ✅ Tabelog Rating: 3.41 A must-visit restaurant! Just a short walk from Kamata Station, this place offers delicious, authentic charcoal-grilled yakitori at great prices. Chicken, chicken, chicken—it's all about chicken here! The value for the quality and portion sizes is excellent. The egg dish with ikura (salmon roe) is bursting with flavor! The broth is rich and incredibly tasty! The tsukune (chicken meatball) has a soy glaze with a nice garlic punch that is just too good! Aside from chicken dishes, I highly recommend the boiled gyoza with its incredibly chewy skin—so delicious! Haha! And the shime (closing dish) of champon (noodles) is also really tasty! By the way, ordering is super easy with mobile ordering; not only are there pictures, but also videos for guidance! 😊 The staff is very hospitable, energetic, and quick to clear plates. The vibe is great, and drinks are served super fast! The bright and cheerful service makes for a pleasant drinking experience.
