I have visited this restaurant for lunch several times, but this was my first visit for dinner. A few days ago, I ordered mapo tofu at another restaurant and was disappointed, so today I really wanted to enjoy some delicious mapo tofu. After looking at the menu, I first ordered the mapo tofu, and then I ordered the braised beef over rice, which I had really enjoyed during my previous lunch visit. While mapo tofu seems like one of the simplest dishes, I am often surprised that even at well-regarded places, it can sometimes be quite bad. However, the mapo tofu here was just as delicious as the other dishes. The braised beef over rice was even creamier and tastier than when I had it for lunch. I wonder if they might start preparing it early in the morning, and by dinner, it has had enough time to simmer, resulting in a better flavor. That's just my guess, so I plan to check next time. The total was 1,936 yen. Lunch prices include tax, but for dinner, prices are before tax.
This is my first visit since the restaurant changed its name. There are few options for dining during the afternoon after the typical lunch hours, but this place is open without休みand serves lunch from 11 AM to 4 PM, which is a great help. Since it was my first time here, I ordered the most expensive item on the lunch menu, the beef rib rice bowl. I would have loved it even more if the beef had been simmered a bit longer to achieve a tender, saucy consistency. The portion was quite substantial, and I heard their seafood fried rice is quite popular too. It doesn’t seem like the prices suddenly increase just because it's dinner time.
I recently visited the restaurant again after enjoying the food last time, and this time I opted for the 2-hour all-you-can-eat-and-drink option for the first time. I had initially planned to just order a drink, but while browsing the menu, I changed my mind (laughs). By the way, there are options for 1-hour, 2-hour, and 3-hour services, but if you choose the 1-hour drink plan, the last order is at 30 minutes before the end, so unless you plan to drink heavily at the start, it might be wiser to just order normally (laughs). As you can see from the photos, I ordered quite a lot! When it comes to all-you-can-eat, both my husband and I end up overindulging. However, the staff served everything with a smile, without any complaints! In particular, I was curious about how they make the seafood dry pot featured in the cover photo and enjoyed it immensely! Personally, I thought the classic Mapo Eggplant was incredibly delicious. The soft, tender eggplant was the best! It's definitely something I can't replicate at home! I look forward to visiting again for more food and drinks!
All the dishes were delicious, and I ended up ordering more and more until I was full (lol). When I go to a Chinese restaurant, I always look for my favorites: spicy chicken and poached chicken with chili sauce, and I was thrilled to find both this time! The egg dish had a fluffy texture that I really liked and enjoyed greatly. I would have given a perfect score of 5, but everything was a bit salty, which made it hard to finish at the end, so I couldn't give a full rating. However, I definitely want to visit again!

I had a job near Kamata Station. Since the work calmed down a bit before lunchtime, I decided to have an early lunch. I visited this restaurant for the first time, which I learned about from a colleague. It’s a Chinese restaurant that offers a variety of set lunch menus, making it hard to choose. I ordered the "Five-Ingredient Noodle Soup with a Half Fried Rice Set." After a while, my meal was ready. The fried rice was a small portion, but the noodle soup was packed with ingredients. The texture of the ingredients was great, and the broth had a rich flavor, making it delicious. It also came with almond jelly, and I ended up feeling quite full. The price was reasonable, the taste was good, and the portions were generous. Next time, I’d like to try their dinner service.

We visited the restaurant during lunchtime on a holiday with two people. We ordered the green onion char siu ramen and a set with fried rice, as well as a set with fried chicken in sweet and sour sauce, and some dumplings. The flavors were on the stronger side, but it was quite tasty overall. The set meals come with free refills of soup and rice. It's becoming rare to find a place near Kamata Station’s west exit where you can enjoy a set meal with comfortable seating for under a thousand yen, so I’d like to try other menu items as well.

After finishing work near Kamata Station, I decided to go out for a late lunch. I visited a Hong Kong restaurant that a coworker had recommended. It appears that the place used to be a different restaurant but opened this year. The lunch menu had various options, and although I was a bit indecisive, I ultimately ordered the "Five-Element Fried Rice" and some "Fried Dumplings" as individual items.
The fried rice arrived first. It was fluffy and well-seasoned, exactly my preferred type of fried rice. The dumplings came later, quite a bit delayed. They were large, filled generously with meat, and very juicy. The dumplings were delicious. I would love to try other dim sum and menu items, so I’ll definitely come back.
I visited for dinner because I wanted to eat beef rib rice bowl, and I found this place serving beef rib don. We shared the meal between two people.
We ordered two spring rolls at 200 yen each, which had a homemade feeling and were delicious. The fried wontons were 500 yen, and they were crispy and easy to eat, served with mild mayonnaise.
The three assorted appetizers were 980 yen. The spicy squid was tasty, the char siu was average, and the garlic-dressed cucumber mixed with green onions was delicious. The portion for these three appetizers was pretty good, allowing us to enjoy a variety of flavors.
The beef rib rice bowl was 1080 yen and was flavorful with a good hint of star anise. I felt it could have been even better with a bit more sauce.
The menu was diverse, and everything was tasty, so I definitely want to visit again. The prices were reasonable, and I paid with PayPay.

I tried the dim sum course, and each dish was wonderfully chewy with juicy fillings. It was a satisfying course at a reasonable price! The stir-fried vegetables and the finish options of fried rice (or saucy yakisoba) were both hearty, and three of us women ended up feeling very full. I was a bit worried that dim sum wouldn't be enough to fill us up, but we were so satisfied that we couldn't even finish everything (I apologize to the staff for that!). The complimentary Tieguanyin tea had a light, aromatic flavor that was delicious, and I was very satisfied overall. I will definitely visit again!

The garlic chives and liver dish was absolutely delicious. Priced at 800 yen, the portion size was generous, and the liver was juicy with no unpleasant odor, which made me very satisfied. The atmosphere in the restaurant was typical of a local Chinese diner, and the staff's service was pleasant. Overall, it was a very positive experience, so I'll definitely return! It was so good that I forgot to take a photo...

It's a small cozy restaurant, but I enjoyed authentic Hong Kong cuisine. I will make sure to check it off my list as a place I want to visit again.
