Located along Atsubetsu Street in Atsubetsu Nishi, there is a ramen shop with a upside-down sign called "Rakuraku," which seems to be operating as a sublease. Between the two entrances, a curtain with the name "Takoyaki Magokoro" is hung. Despite it being lunchtime, there are no other customers. Upon entering, a middle-aged man and a young woman greet you. When you order takoyaki, the young woman takes your order. A sign on the wall states that it will take 20-30 minutes to provide freshly cooked takoyaki. You order the "Mago Takoyaki @530." The takoyaki is pre-made, and they ask if you want all the toppings - sauce, mayo, bonito flakes, and seaweed. You reluctantly agree and pay for your order before leaving the shop. You walk towards Atsubetsu Station, looking for a place to sit and eat. After a 10-minute walk, you find a bench in Atsubetsu Nishi Park, where the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. You open the white pack tied with a rubber band, take out the takoyaki, and take a photo. The takoyaki has a crispy outer layer and a soft texture inside. The octopus is tender and flavorful. Although the overall taste is decent, it falls short of being exceptional. You wish you had the opportunity to try the freshly cooked takoyaki. Overall, it was a satisfactory meal.

Magotako 530 yen snack (๑´∀`) Located in the Atsubetsu Nishi area, this takoyaki shop is run by a family who also runs a long-established ramen shop. Currently, they operate irregularly, so be sure to check their Instagram before going. You can place an order and pick up freshly cooked takoyaki in about 20 minutes. They also accept phone reservations! The takoyaki is small and easy to eat, while the octopus inside is large, soft, and fluffy, with a gentle dashi flavor in the batter. Although it's not on the menu, they happily accommodate orders without sauce. I personally like to sprinkle it with rock salt. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the message on the container is a nice touch. Thank you for the delicious meal! (^ω^)

It's a place in Atsubetsu Ward, located at Atsubetsu Nishi 5-jo 2-chome along Atsubetsu Street. As always, please check the exact location using the map on Tabelog. When looking at new restaurant information on Tabelog, I noticed a takoyaki shop opened at the same address as a ramen shop, so I was curious and decided to visit the shop. Upon arrival, I found out that the shop seemed to be borrowing space from the ramen shop. I parked my car in a shared parking lot and entered the shop. I ordered the top menu item "Mago Tako" and paid. They told me it would take about 15 minutes to cook, so I waited outside. After about 12-13 minutes, they brought the freshly cooked takoyaki to my car. I took it home and tried it. The takoyaki was topped with seaweed, bonito flakes, and mayonnaise. It was still hot and soft on the inside, with a soft exterior. The octopus inside was decently sized with a good texture. Since the shop is connected to a ramen shop, it might be interesting if they come up with a ramen dish that includes takoyaki.
