**Genghis Khan Sheepers, Kamata - NEW OPEN in May 2024**
Experience exquisite Genghis Khan using fresh lamb directly sourced from Hokkaido. Our restaurant is dedicated to serving "fresh lamb meat" rather than frozen options.
**What I Ordered:**
- Fresh Lamb Three-Item Course (with 2-hour all-you-can-drink) - ¥6,000
- Bean Sprout and Maitake Mushroom Namul
- Kimchi
- Special Potato Salad
- Grilled Vegetable Assortment
- Lamb Shoulder Roast
- Lamb Leg Meat
- Lamb Chop
- Sudachi Cold Noodles
- Dessert: Ramune Sherbet
⭐️ *A Quick Review:* ⭐️
I recently visited a restaurant in Kamata that serves fresh lamb from Hokkaido. I ordered the Fresh Lamb Three-Item Course.
- **Bean Sprout and Maitake Mushroom Namul:** This dish was rare, and its texture was superb with a uniquely addictive flavor. My favorite was the special potato salad, which included meat and was one of the best I've ever had. I’m curious about its recipe!
- **Grilled Vegetable Assortment:** A generous serving of cabbage, onions, and bean sprouts, which is essential for the meal. The lamb fat that dripped onto the veggies added a delicious flavor.
- **Lamb Shoulder Roast and Lamb Leg Meat:** The fresh lamb had no gamey smell, allowing us to fully enjoy its natural flavors. Its mild taste makes it easy to eat, and the wonderful aroma enhances every bite. The special apple sauce made from grated apples paired exceptionally well with the lamb.
- **Lamb Chop:** This was a massive and impressive portion. The tenderness and flavor blew me away. I enjoyed eating it like you see in cartoons, holding the bone and biting into it. The delicious fat oozing from it provided an irresistible taste.
- **Sudachi Cold Noodles:** The refreshing tang of sudachi combined with chewy noodles was fantastic.
- **Dessert:** The Ramune sherbet was nostalgic and refreshing, perfect for cleansing the palate.
Overall, I felt the course was a great deal, especially with the all-you-can-drink option. The variety of lamb cuts is abundant, and depending on the availability, they serve about 7 to 10 different cuts, including rare offals.
The location is just a short walk from Kamata Station, marked by a cute sheep logo. The interior is stylish with a wood grain and monochrome color scheme. There's a large TV for sports viewing, and the restaurant offers both table seats and private rooms, making it suitable for various occasions. I felt that renting out the whole space would also be a great idea!

The meal I had was a course featuring two types of fresh lamb, along with a two-hour all-you-can-drink option. The contents included: bean sprouts and maitake mushroom namul, kimchi, potato salad, a platter of grilled vegetables, fresh lamb shoulder roast, fresh lamb thigh, lamb chops, and sudachi cold noodles.
What stood out the most to me was the "maitake mushroom namul." It had a crunchy texture that was delicious and provided a unique experience. The fresh lamb shoulder roast was tender and sweet, and I could tell right away that it was high-quality meat. The thigh meat was also juicy, and as a fan of thigh meat, I was thoroughly satisfied with its flavor. I was amazed by the thickness of the lamb chops! They had no unpleasant odor, and even when well-cooked, they remained tender and satisfying to eat.
For the finale, I enjoyed the "sudachi cold noodles." The refreshing flavor of sudachi paired perfectly with the springy noodles; it was truly delicious. To wrap up, I had ramune ice cream. For anyone who loves fresh lamb, I highly recommend visiting this restaurant. I certainly plan to return!

The lamb was fresh and delicious, with no unpleasant odor. I visited on a Saturday night, and it was nearly full, indicating its popularity. The side menu was also extensive, but since I went to a second restaurant afterward, I regret not being able to try more things. Next time, I want to thoroughly enjoy both the food and drinks!

I visited a restaurant I had been looking forward to. I arrived at 7:30 PM, but it was a bit disappointing that some of the menu items were sold out. However, the food was incredibly delicious, and I would definitely like to return to try the items I couldn't have today. It's also great because it's hard to find fresh lamb tongue and heart at other places.

There’s a new restaurant that opened in Kumata around May 2024. It's located in a bit of an obscure spot. We ordered a course meal this time. The meat had no odor and was very delicious. The sautéed vegetables disappeared before we even noticed, which made us laugh. It was the weekend, so it was quite crowded and lively, filled to capacity.

The meat had no smell and felt healthy, so I was happy about that. Thank you for the meal!

This is actually my first time in Kamata! This time, a foodie friend of mine made a reservation at a restaurant where we can enjoy delicious lamb meat. We had a 6,000 yen course that included 2 hours of all-you-can-drink! To be honest, the cost performance is unbelievable, right? It’s amazing that it comes with appetizers, meat, a main dish, dessert, and all-you-can-drink! It had been a long time since I had lamb, and I was really excited. The lamb cooks in an instant, and when I put it in my mouth, the savory flavor spreads, and the meat is incredibly tender and delicious! The pieces are cut into easy-to-eat sizes, so my chopsticks kept moving. The potato salad that came out as an appetizer was surprisingly tasty too!
【Course Contents】
- Bean sprouts and maitake mushroom namul
- Kimchi
- Potato salad
- Grilled vegetable platter
- Fresh lamb shoulder
- Fresh lamb leg
- Lamb chop
- Sudachi cold noodles
- Dessert
The cost performance is so good that I definitely want to recommend this place if you're looking for jingisukan (lamb barbecue). Thank you for the meal!

I wanted to share my incredible experience at an amazing and cost-effective Genghis Khan restaurant called Sheepers in Kamata! I actually had purchased takeout from this place during the COVID-19 pandemic for lunch, and I remembered how delicious it was, so I wanted to visit for dinner. After a couple of years, my wish finally came true!
Their course at 6,000 yen includes three types of fresh lamb and all-you-can-drink options. It’s filled with value and deliciousness! The menu features:
- Seasoned bean sprouts and maitake mushrooms
- Kimchi
- Potato salad
- Grilled vegetable platter
- Fresh lamb shoulder
- Fresh lamb leg
- Lamb chops
- Sudachi cold noodles
- Dessert
It was such a satisfying meal! We toasted with ginger ale and lemon sour. I'm a big fan of maitake mushrooms, so I was thrilled with the maitake namul. The potato salad was also a hit, with chunks of meat and potatoes that still held their shape, making it very hearty.
After piling up cabbage, onion, and bean sprouts on the grill, we started cooking the lamb. We began with the shoulder, which had no odor at all; each bite released incredible umami flavor. Sheepers offers a fruity sauce made with apples specifically for Genghis Khan, which pairs beautifully with the lamb. They also have spicier sauces and garlic sauces available, but the apple sauce was more than enough for me.
The leg cut had substantial fat, so I happily shared it with my friend, allowing us both to indulge. While the leaner parts were a bit chewier than the shoulder, they were still incredibly tender and distinctly lamb-like.
The true standout was the lamb chop, which was impressively thick yet remained juicy when cooked. When cut with scissors, the inside was stunningly beautiful. It was rich with fat but didn’t taste greasy at all – it was actually quite refreshing. I could easily eat these lamb chops infinitely!
We finished with the sudachi cold noodles, which had a generous portion and the pleasant acidity of sudachi was the perfect way to wrap up the meal. The dessert was ramune-flavored ice cream, evoking a bit of nostalgia.
The lamb I had during lunch was delicious, but the entire course was absolutely satisfying! Even if you’re not a fan of Genghis Khan, the lamb here lacks the usual odor and is very easy to eat, making it enjoyable for both lamb lovers and those who might not usually like it. I highly recommend giving Sheepers a visit!

I love Genghis Khan barbecue, so I crave it regularly. This place is very conveniently located, just about a 3-minute walk from Kamata Station! They use fresh, direct-from-Hokkaido "raw lamb meat" instead of frozen items, so all the meat is fresh and has no gaminess. It's easy to eat, making it perfect for Genghis Khan beginners as well.
Especially the lamb chops—I had them at another restaurant before, but these are definitely softer and more delicious! The marinade is packed with grated apple, which pairs really well with the meat. ✨ There are all-you-can-drink courses starting from 5,000 yen. You should definitely check it out!

As a refreshing appetizer, we ordered the bean sprout and maitake mushroom namul. The crunchy bean sprouts combined with the umami-rich maitake mushrooms offered a light texture, making it a perfect dish to enjoy before diving into the Jingisukan!
**Fresh Lamb Shoulder Roast**
The highlight of the restaurant is undoubtedly the fresh lamb shoulder roast, which was astonishingly tender and free from any gamey taste! It was juicy yet had a firm texture that allowed us to truly savor the richness of the lamb! When dipped in their special apple sauce, the flavor was elevated even more…! ✨

The lamb chops were served with the bone, offering a satisfying bite! Each chew released a burst of meat juice, and the right amount of fat made it incredibly enjoyable. Tokyo Kamata - Genghis Khan Sheepers @sheepers_kamata It's been a while since I visited Kamata?! And I finally had Genghis Khan again! The lamb meat they use is not frozen but fresh, focusing on high quality, which really made a difference as it had no smell and very little gaminess. Depending on the supply situation, they offer about 7 to 10 different cuts, including some rare hormone parts! The special apple sauce made with grated apple was also delicious.

Recently opened in May, this specialty Genghis Khan restaurant near Kamata station offers fresh "raw lamb" that can be enjoyed with seasonal vegetables. Here’s what I had from the menu:
ーーー------------
**[6,000 yen course]**
- Bean sprouts and maitake mushrooms namul
- Kimchi
- Potato salad
- Grilled vegetable platter
- Lamb shoulder roast
- Lamb leg
- Lamb chops
- Sudachi cold noodles

The lamb was delicious! It's not frozen, but really fresh raw lamb, so it has no unpleasant odor and is less gamey. I think it would be easy to eat even for those who are not typically fond of lamb. The secret to the deliciousness of Genghis Khan lies in the sauce, and indeed, the sauce was fantastic! The special apple sauce with grated apples was particularly appealing.
The contents of the course were quite fulfilling for 6,000 yen! With lamb chops included, I felt it was a great value for the price. There’s also a 2-hour all-you-can-drink option, allowing you to enjoy the combination of Genghis Khan and drinks.
The interior features a large screen, and the staff were very friendly, making it a comfortable place to dine! Personally, since I live nearby, I am looking forward to coming back again.
