I arrived at the store around 2:15 PM on May 2023♪ There were no customers before or after me. It had been a few years since I last visited the Japanese market, so I decided to try out Wayada-san, which I had been curious about. I wasn't really hungry, so I bought sweet potato chips. haha - Sweet Potato Chips (400 yen) (Maple Syrup) You can choose from 8 different sauces♪ (see image) The sweet potato chips are delicious enough on their own with the crispy texture of the oil and sweet potato, but when you dip them in maple syrup, they become even tastier♪ The maple syrup is a mix of maple syrup and whipped cream, which is really good◎ I would like to try out the other sauces as well♪ The staff member was nice, and I am looking forward to trying their bento next time♪ It's a refreshing change in the somewhat dull Japanese market. I hope they keep up the good work♪

- The spaghetti cutlet bento is pretty good overall, but the meat sauce might be a bit salty. It's not a big deal though. The pasta isn't watery, and as a bento option, it's perfectly fine. - The Kushiro Wetland clam soda is what you would call a melon cream soda. It's green to represent the clam, and the red cherry is like the sunset? Or maybe the head of a red-crowned crane? (laughs) It's been a while since I've had something this sweet. I still don't really like sweet things though... (￣▽￣;)

Zangi that is safe and delicious. I bought it as a make-ahead dish, so it lacked a bit of crispiness, but the juicy thigh meat was good, and the seasoning was nice. The garlic flavor was strong and quite tasty. It's nice that you can choose from 6 types of sauces. The volume of zangi is quite large, so if you don't eat it at a ratio of 7 zangi to 3 rice, you'll end up with extra zangi with a normal serving of rice. I recommend a large serving or more for those with a big appetite (*^^*). The price range is not particularly cheap, but I think it's worth it considering the taste and quantity. Like the previous store "Iwasaki Delicatessen," they also have side dishes, so it's a shop that caters to the needs of not only office workers but also housewives.

Demi cheese hamburger bento box (extra rice) ¥830. The demi-glace sauce was a bit salty. The hamburger itself was nothing special. The side dish was yakisoba Napolitan instead of spaghetti Napolitan.

I came to a market within walking distance from Kushiro Station. While people who can eat seafood may choose to have Kaisendon, I cannot eat raw food so I went to this restaurant where they have dishes like crab soup. I bought crab soup, spinach ohitashi, broccoli, and grilled hanpen. The crab soup was delicious, but the ingredients made me laugh. The spinach ohitashi was average, and the broccoli was also average. The grilled hanpen, which I bought on a whim, turned out to be the most delicious. It had cheese inside and was very tasty.

From regular bento boxes to seafood bowls. When I went for the first time after lunch, there was only Zangi bento available. It seems like they had other options until lunchtime, but they were sold out. I ended up getting the Zangi bento. It was freshly made. The Zangi has a good amount of volume, and it comes with sauce. Later I found out that you can choose from several types of sauce. The Zangi itself is juicy and delicious on its own. But when I tried it with the sauce, which seemed to be a mix of vinegar and soy sauce, it surprisingly complemented the dish well. The amount of Zangi made me feel like I needed more rice. It was a satisfying meal.

"I found a new restaurant by chance yesterday, it just opened. It's a place we wouldn't have discovered if we hadn't passed by. There were only two of us in Kushiro, and we didn't have breakfast included in our hotel reservation. So, even though we didn't need to eat, my wife said she wanted to go to the Washo Market, so I went along. We had the winning bowl and bought some fish before heading back to the hotel. Just when we were about to leave, we decided to take a different route that we hadn't passed before, and there was a new restaurant we had never seen before. It turned out to be a brand new place, and when I asked what to get, they recommended the Zangi bento, which was their bestseller. It felt strange to hear that a place that just opened had a bestseller. The lady there mentioned they had different types of sauce, including mentaiko, which surprised me. She said she was just helping out because it was a family effort to run the place. It was a unique experience. We got a zero rating review from this place, but I haven't checked if someone else has written about it. The next morning, I was planning to post the review, but it seems my partner is the expert on Washo. I'll slowly work on posting it. Now, I need to head back to the hotel because I haven't uploaded the reviews yet. I'll heat it up in a frying pan. The meat is cheap. You can tell from how I eat it. My partner said, 'Since it's your first time, be kind in your review.' She said, 'Juicy, a bit tough.' She insisted I try it, and I found the mild flavor appealing. I'm not a fan of this type of fried food, I prefer something with a bit more crumbly texture. This combined piece is a bit like curry mayo, a savior. The sauce is delicious, and the rice is tasty. I'm not an expert, but I think the rice is good, not Koshihikari or Yumepirika, but still good. Let's make our own potato salad next time. The potatoes seem frozen. This is terrible."

In March 2023, I visited a new delicatessen store that opened at the former Iwasaki Delicatessen in the Hanaichi Market. As soon as I arrived, I could see that it was very popular. The store was constantly busy with customers. They were mainly selling Zangi at the storefront, which seemed to be almost sold out due to its popularity. Later, they also served Meat Sauce Spaghetti, which sold out quickly too. I decided to buy a pack of Zangi for 300 yen. When I opened the pack, there were 4 pieces of Zangi inside. I reheated them in a toaster and plated them nicely. The Zangi had a strong flavor with a hint of garlic, slightly sweet with a soy sauce taste. It was a traditional and delicious type of Zangi that goes well with rice dishes. I plan to visit again when it's less crowded to buy a bento. Thank you for the meal.
