As it gets hotter, I start craving curry! He said that and has been eating curry every day. I don't have as strong a stomach as he does, but sometimes I also crave it... So, this time, I went to SAMA after a long time.
- 15 kinds of Vegetable Curry with plenty of vegetables ¥1300 (only available at the Jingumae and Kawazoi stores)
It's spiciness level 7, with coconut soup +70 yen, and quinoa mix regular size +150 yen. Carrots, eggplants, bell peppers, asparagus, okra, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, fried burdock, red and yellow bell peppers, cauliflower, lotus root, broccoli, potatoes, baby corn, cabbage, quails. It really is full of vegetables. But it was too much for me, the portion was large. The coconut soup is different from the tomato base, it has a very mellow flavor, and personally, I prefer this one. Please try ordering it.
- Beef Sagari Kyabe Daikon Curry ¥1390 (boyfriend's order)
Spiciness level 20, tomato soup, white rice, beef sagari, cabbage, daikon radish, lotus root, taro, bitter gourd, pea sprouts, fried garlic, carrots, eggplants, bell peppers, okra, broccoli, baby corn, quails. The daikon radish was a bit hard and had a slight smell. Perhaps it needed more simmering. The beef sagari was tender and delicious, though. One more thing that bothered me was the ventilation inside the restaurant. It's understandable but the seats near the kitchen lacked proper ventilation, so it was very hot. I sweated more from the heat inside the restaurant than from the spiciness of the curry. I wished they had more fans on this side too. Nonetheless, it was as delicious as always. Thank you for the meal.
