Visit date: Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 11:30 AM. A popular Western-style restaurant located near the exit of Sapporo Subway Nishi 18-chome Station. The entrance is up the stairs on the 2nd floor. I visited for the first time to try their famous omurice. When I arrived at the restaurant a little after 11 AM, there were already 2 groups of 3 customers waiting. Around 11:15 AM, they kindly opened the shop a bit early, which was nice. The interior is divided into counter seats and table seats, with a calm and chic cafe-like atmosphere. The menu includes: - Kogame Omurice - Pork Cutlet Curry - Fluffy Egg Om Curry - Shrimp Doria - Today's recommended lunch On this day, I ordered the Shrimp Fry & Menchi Katsu and Pork Ginger Lunch. The lunch menu comes with salad and rice. You can add a drink set for an additional ¥150. Unfortunately, the popular cheese hamburger was not available that day, so it's a surprise to see what's on the menu each day. The Omurice with shrimp fry topping for ¥1480 was impressive when it arrived after a short wait. The plate was colorful and generous in portion. The egg was perfectly half-cooked, fluffy, and slightly sweet. The chicken rice with a hint of acidity was gently coated by the egg. The special demiglace sauce on the egg had a dark color and a bitter taste, with a hint of wine adding depth. The balance of sweetness, acidity, and bitterness was wonderful, making it a delicious omurice! The shrimp fry with heads was crispy and delicious, and the salad with dressing was light and tasty. In summary, this Western-style restaurant in the city fills up quickly as soon as it opens during lunchtime. They offer exciting menu options that even slightly indulgent adults will enjoy. The restaurant is entirely non-smoking, with Wi-Fi available. Payment with PayPay is possible. Instagram@moritapan7

I ordered omurice. It had fluffy and creamy eggs on top with demiglace sauce. You can enjoy the taste of the demiglace sauce and the fluffy eggs. It also went well with the chicken rice and demiglace sauce. It was very delicious!

Omelette rice 1200 yen The fluffy egg on top of ketchup rice. The demi-glace sauce was a bit bitter and not to my liking. Pork cutlet curry 1200 yen The pork cutlet was delicious, but I didn't like the bitterness in the curry (maybe coffee as a hidden flavor?). I felt like there was slightly less curry compared to the rice. The salad dressing was a vinegar type and not my favorite. Crab cream croquette topping 400 yen It was delicious, but smaller than expected. Upon seating, you are provided with water, spoon, fork, and knife. The service is good. I had a lot of luggage so they let me use the elevator at the back.

After discussing with my family about what to have for lunch, we decided on having Western food. We were craving for hamburgers and beef stew, so I searched online and found a place that looked delicious. However, when we arrived, we discovered that they didn't have hamburgers or beef stew on the menu. We ended up choosing other dishes instead. I wanted to get a sense of the demi-glace flavor, so I ordered the minced cutlet, which I thought might give me an idea of what the hamburgers would taste like. It turns out that the lunch menu was quite limited, probably because there was only one chef in the kitchen. The demi-glace sauce seemed to be carefully made, but it was a bit different from what I was expecting. The white sauce also lacked a bit of depth compared to what I usually have at other restaurants. I might try visiting this place for dinner next time.

- Order: Shrimp fry set meal 1450 yen - Review: Shrimp fry with head intact was served. I wasn't sure if the head was edible, so I didn't eat it. The meat was firm and the crab cream croquette was piping hot, making it a very satisfying lunch. - Situation: Visited around 13:00 with no wait.

Last time I had pork cutlet curry, which was so delicious that I almost flipped over laughing. This time, I wanted to try a different menu, so I looked at the menu. After much deliberation, I chose the shrimp fry! The reliable shrimp fry, with juicy shrimp! Thank you! The sauce was also delicious!

Shrimp fry & menchi katsu for 1450 yen. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of a building near the subway station, although there is no parking. It's a small shop with a balcony where you can eat outside on sunny days. The menu includes curry, omurice, and fried dishes. Today, I had the shrimp fry and menchi katsu lunch special. It came with two large shrimp and a juicy menchi katsu, topped with a demi-glace sauce that had a slightly tangy flavor. It was a satisfying meal of Western-style cuisine after a long time!

I visited on a certain Saturday afternoon and was promptly seated, although I had to wait a bit as there were a few groups ahead of me. I ordered shrimp fry & minced cutlet with crab cream croquette and asparagus toppings. All the dishes were delicious, but the croquette was small. The shrimp fry looked big, but after removing the head and tail, there wasn't as much to eat as I thought (lol). The menu at the next table looked really tasty (the grass is always greener on the other side). I wonder what dish they ordered...

To Kogame at Odori West 17-chome. It's very crowded so I made a reservation. I ordered the large serving of omurice. The fluffy egg and light chicken rice are really good! Despite being filling, it disappears quickly. The slightly bitter demi-glace sauce also complements it well. I think it's one of the best in the area for Western cuisine. #WesternFood #KogameWesternFood #OdoriWest17chome #MaruyamaGourmet

Located at 17-2-18 Odori Nishi, Chuo-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, this Western-style restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the Berkeley 201 building, right near Nishi 18-chome subway station on the Tozai Line. I have visited twice before, but both times it was closed. According to Tabelog, it is closed on Sundays, and when I went on a Monday, it was closed as well. It seems like the menu prices listed on Tabelog have also increased, so be aware of that. There are stairs leading up to the 2nd floor of the building. The restaurant opens at 11:30, and when I arrived a bit early, I saw a female staff member putting out the menu board. I went inside and saw an older lady already seated. The atmosphere inside was calm, with a bistro, Western-style, and cafe vibe. The kitchen was at the back, so I couldn't see inside. There were 3 counter seats in front of the bar space that extended from the kitchen, as well as several table seats and a private room-like area. By around noon, the place was almost full, with groups of three women, an older couple, and two young men who looked like students. It seems to be run by a couple. I ordered the following: - Kogame Omelette Rice (1200 yen) - Crab Cream Croquette (400 yen) - Ginger Ale (150 yen) The lunch price includes a drink, so I opted for the Ginger Ale, which was poured from a plastic bottle. It was a good deal for the price. The Omelette Rice arrived first, served on a white plate with a generous amount of demiglace sauce. The dark demiglace was rich and slightly bitter, with a roasted depth of flavor. The fluffy omelette contained chicken rice, which was stir-fried to a nice texture without being too ketchupy. It was light and not too heavy. The side salad of shredded cabbage with homemade dressing was delicious. The Crab Cream Croquette was small but packed with crab meat and a rich bechamel sauce. It would have been nice if it was a bit bigger and came with some sauce. I am interested in trying other items on the menu like Pork Cutlet Curry, Doria, Cheese Hamburg, and more. Overall, I think it would be a good place for dinner as well.

After 12 o'clock, my daughter and I managed to slip into the restaurant as there was only one table available. Those who came later had to wait. It was a weekday but the place was popular. There were couples, moms with kids, young women, and middle-aged men - a wide range of customers. The staff were efficient and created a pleasant dining atmosphere. They discreetly mentioned that since my daughter is small, the salad portion was generous and we could adjust the rice portion as well. I ordered the fried trio with a small rice. The salad was plentiful and the French dressing was just right. The minced cutlet oozed with juiciness when cut with a knife and was large. The crab cream croquette had a good amount of crab meat and was delicious. The shrimp fry was also perfectly cooked. Despite feeling full, the fry dishes did not feel heavy and left me satisfied. It was nice to have both tartar sauce and demi-glace sauce. I was able to enjoy my favorite dishes at once. I don't usually eat fried foods elsewhere, but I was drawn to the photos on Tabelog and it was the right choice. My daughter's omelet rice was also delicious. I wanted to ask for another bite after trying it. She said she could have left some, but it was too tasty to resist (laughs). If I were to be greedy, it would have been nice if soup or drinks were included in the price. Drinks could be added at a reasonable price, but we didn't have time to order.

I went there for the first time! I had been curious and wanting to go for a while, so I'm glad I finally made it! It was crowded around lunchtime as expected. I ordered omurice with shrimp topping and pork ginger, both of which were delicious. I would love to go again! I want to try different menu items next time.

I took a day off from work and went for a walk to have lunch. I visited around 12 o'clock, but it was crowded with ladies. I ordered my favorite katsu curry with a topping of my favorite crab cream croquette. The curry was rich, the katsu was delicious, and the crab cream croquette had a strong crab flavor. I enjoyed it very much. Thank you for the meal.

I finally made it to Kogame-san's restaurant! I've heard it's delicious, but I couldn't go because of timing issues, but I finally made it. As other comments mentioned, reservations are a must. The restaurant is located on the second floor up a slightly steep staircase (there is actually an elevator), with about 5 small tables. There is also a terrace seat with a nice blind that gives a feeling of being in nature with the street trees along the main road. On this day, I had the shrimp fry & crab cream croquette set meal, and my wife had the omelette curry. Each dish was around 1300 yen, 1100 yen. The crab cream croquette had a rich aroma and creamy texture that spread in your mouth, it was delicious. The shrimp fry had plump shrimp with a crispy coating, very tasty. The omelette curry, although I only had a taste, was well made with the egg and curry. A very polite Western-style restaurant. My wife is pregnant, and the staff were very attentive (they brought out a chair while we waited, and guided us to the elevator...), it was a very polite restaurant. For gentlemen and ladies who want to spend a leisurely lunch, this restaurant is highly recommended. However, I personally wished for a bit more volume (if the shrimp was 1 centimeter longer... and if the croquette was a bit larger...), that was my only complaint. Also, it seems like they only have two staff members, so if you go in with a quick set meal mindset, you might feel a bit rushed.

It is advisable to make a lunch reservation at this small shop as there were customers waiting when I left. I ordered the lunch set with three kinds of fried dishes: shrimp fry, crab cream croquette, and minced meat fry. Drinks were not included. Unfortunately, the fried dishes were not hot at all and the seat was directly hit by the air conditioning, making them even colder. Despite this, the taste was very good. I particularly enjoyed the crab cream croquette with its crab miso flavor. I would like to try the omurice next time. Thank you for the meal.

This is a typical lunch spot. I visited right when they opened. The seats filled up quickly after opening, so it's important to be mindful of the visit time. It might be a good idea to aim for the second round. The omelette rice was delicious with a fluffy and creamy texture.

I visited around 11:40 am on Saturday. There were already quite a few customers, and all three available table seats were reserved. I was told that the terrace seats were okay, so I chose to sit there. I ordered the recommended lunch set which included shrimp fry, menchi katsu, and cream croquette for 1350 yen. All the fried items were crispy and delicious. The salad portion was generous. The fried items were a bit on the smaller side, maybe more catered towards female customers.

Freshly cooked rice with a thick, spicy Western-style curry known as black curry. The cut size of the freshly fried tonkatsu is also perfect for katsu curry. There are various Western-style restaurants, but this place is delicious! Katsu curry for 1100 yen. The set includes coffee for 150 yen.

I had a day off so I decided to go to a restaurant that is closed on Sundays for lunch. I had heard good things about their omurice, so I chose to have lunch there this time. When I arrived at around 1 o'clock, the lunch rush was over and there were only about three groups of customers already seated. I looked at the menu and although there were tempting options like hamburger steak and shrimp fry, I ultimately decided on their popular omurice. I ordered the Kogame Omurice, which is chicken rice topped with an omelette. The omelette was soft and fluffy, with a slight runny texture. It had a nice balance of egg richness and sweetness. The demi-glace sauce on top had a depth of flavor with a hint of bitterness that complemented the sweetness of the egg well. The chicken rice inside was moist and well-seasoned. The dish also came with a serving of vegetables. Both the omelette and demi-glace sauce were delicious, making me want to try other items on the menu as well. The service and atmosphere of the restaurant were also great, and I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Kogame, a restaurant that has been on my mind for a while, for lunch. The portion of salad with the omurice was unexpectedly large, while the omurice itself seemed a bit small. Maybe getting the large portion would be just right...? The salad had fresh vegetables (a sign of a good quality side dish). The chicken in the chicken rice was sizable and had a good flavor, but I still wished there was more of it... The egg was fluffy and creamy, with half of it being slightly crispy (is that trendy?). The demi-glace sauce had a slightly bitter and light texture, giving it a more mature taste. I was really curious about the daily special menu that day...! The restaurant is a bit out of the way, but if I have the chance, I'd like to try something else there too! Thank you, Wu-ta!!! (((orz
