This was my second visit. I previously mentioned that they didn't have paper aprons, but they have been introduced! However, they ask you if you want one after they start cooking. Since there's a lot of oil flying around, I think it would be better to have them on the table by default. The green garlic chicken (with green onions) that I ordered last time is no longer on the menu. Maybe the green onions burned or fell off too easily? The chicken neck (seseri) was delicious, and I ended up ordering more... The basil seasoning looked like it had a lot of basil, but when cooked, it was just the right amount of flavor. Their happy hour is from 17:00 to 19:00, but I ended up eating so much that my bill was still pretty high!

I finally visited a restaurant that opened in June and caught my attention. When it comes to grilled meat, kimchi is a must. So, I started with kimchi and a beer. I then ordered grilled chicken harami with a salted sauce. Eating the grilled chicken with lots of garlic was amazing! Just this alone is enough to fill me up when I'm alone. I definitely want to come back.

On June 24, Garlic Chicken Grill "Garichiki" opened in front of Omori Station. The restaurant isn't very spacious, but it is clean and well-maintained. The staff left a strong impression with their bright and energetic attitude. The side menu resembles that of an izakaya rather than a typical barbecue restaurant, making for a perfect size for snacks. The highlight is the signature Garlic Chicken Grill with red and white options. It's incredibly delicious! Best of all, you get 200g of meat, allowing you to enjoy various cuts at a fantastic value. The red has a sweet and spicy flavor, while the white is seasoned with salt, and both were delightful. Considering it's barbecue, the cost performance is excellent, making it possible to dine for about 4,000 yen per person, which is appreciated. There are counter seats, creating an inviting atmosphere for solo diners. It seems there’s also an all-you-can-drink option, and with a wide selection of alcohol, I’m definitely planning to return! Surprisingly, I didn’t have a garlic breath the next day, which is a bonus. For those who aren't fond of garlic, it seems that the basil-flavored option is highly recommended. I tried the basil-flavored meat as well, and it was outstanding. There are other chicken barbecue places in Gotanda and Yotsuya, but personally, I will definitely choose this restaurant for its surprising value and taste. Thank you for the meal!

The soy sauce dip with plenty of grated garlic was delicious! There are various chicken parts and seasonings to enjoy, but it would be nice if there were a little more volume for families. The staff was lively, and we had a very tasty and enjoyable time.

I spotted a young woman handing out flyers for a new chicken barbecue restaurant right in front of the station. I initially walked past but then went back to grab a flyer! It seems they’re running a free drink campaign for the first three days of opening. When I stopped by on the opening day to check it out, there was a huge line, which was to be expected! So, I decided to return on the fourth day when they were in regular operation. I confirmed there’s a counter seating area at the entrance on the second floor and went inside. I started with a classic highball while choosing my order. To be honest, chicken barbecue isn’t a style I'm very familiar with. I began with chicken skin with ponzu sauce, which had a direct, unprocessed chicken skin taste—quite rich! For the meat, there were various options, but since I wanted to try several kinds on my own, I opted for a mixed platter of the "Gari Chicken." I wasn't sure what it included, but as long as it's tasty, that's what matters! Recently, I had been craving chicken, so I was quite satisfied. This grilled meat experience was enjoyable. I switched to regular highballs and had two drinks in total. The menu mainly features chicken dishes, ranging from appetizers to main courses. However, since it’s all chicken-focused, both the restaurant and customers will need to be a bit creative with their choices. It was delicious!

The favorite yakiniku restaurant I used to go to has closed down, and a new chicken yakiniku specialty store has opened. The menu features chicken only! You can choose from various cuts like thighs, cartilage, and neck. They serve the food grilled over a charcoal grill. Their signature dish, called Gari-chicken, comes in three varieties: red, white, and green, and I ordered the green. It was said to have green chili peppers, but it mostly consisted of green onions, which paired well with the sesame oil—great for both rice and drinks. To celebrate the opening, they are offering a limited-time 90-minute all-you-can-drink free event from the 24th to the 26th. Without drinks, the total was about 7000 yen for two people. With drinks, it would probably be around 10,000 yen? Since the restaurant just opened, and they were likely busy with the all-you-can-drink promotion, I hope they can improve on a few points: - They didn't provide paper aprons. I thought the oil wouldn't splatter too much, but oil ended up all over my phone, and since I was wearing black, I probably didn't notice how much oil splattered on me. It would be best to introduce these. - It’s understandable they were busy, but there were times when my orders were missed, and I had to check on orders that hadn’t arrived. - When we were seated, we didn’t receive tongs, indicating some preparation issues. - I was told there would be a 30-minute wait, but we ended up waiting over an hour, which was a bit disappointing. The food was delicious, so I’d like to visit again when things calm down.

As expected, the recommended Garlic Chicken in white and red sauce was delicious. Additionally, the side dishes of mountain jellyfish and ume-zasai were so tasty that I ended up getting seconds.

The portion of the "naka" in the Hoppy Set is way too small. Even when I ordered more "naka," it was still too little. Seriously, it’s too little. This is Ota Ward, right? What's more, the staff doesn’t even understand when I ask for "naka." And the service is slow. It’s "naka," after all! Isn’t it something that should come out quickly? If the staff has no interest in learning or caring about it, they should just remove it from the menu. That said, the chicken is delicious! The prices are a bit on the higher side, though.

I made a reservation for a course with all-you-can-drink options. However, there were some issues with the service, such as being presented with the menu after arriving. Nevertheless, all the dishes were delicious, and I have no complaints about the food. I hope for improvements in the future.
