Since it was a drinking party, I held back on taking photos. I only have two. I'm sorry! The pasta was delicious. I think it was something like carbonara, with an egg yolk placed in the center. It was stylish, beautiful, and tasty—it was great! Thank you for the meal!

I stopped by thinking I would have dinner after a light drink, but it turned out to be surprisingly delicious. The chicken steak was satisfying in terms of portion, tenderness, and flavor. The Japanese-style pasta with chicken soboro was also tasty. I ended up drinking more wine than planned, so I might come back next time with the intention of enjoying drinks from the start. I’ve decided to revisit.

Just a short walk from Omori Station, there's a Western-style izakaya. The menu features chicken dishes, pizza, and pasta. I visited at night and ordered the "Extra Large Chicken Breast Steak" (1,100 yen), "Shingen Chicken Gizzard Fried" (550 yen), and a bottled beer (680 yen). The "Extra Large Chicken Breast Steak" is indeed as substantial as its name suggests, exceeding my expectations in size, which was quite pleasing. The cooking was excellent, with the meat retaining plenty of juices, resulting in a moist and juicy experience. There was no unpleasant chicken odor or dryness at all, allowing me to enjoy it without any stress from start to finish. It was slightly salty or rich in flavor, but that was within an acceptable range. The "Shingen Chicken Gizzard Fried" was also delicious. Although the taste of the frying powder was a bit strong, it paired well with the beer, making it enjoyable. There are many other chicken dishes available that make me want to try more. This new restaurant is located in a somewhat inconspicuous spot, so it might be relatively easy to get in right now. I plan to visit a few more times before it becomes popular.

Yesterday's lunch was once again at ZaBro in Omori, making it two weeks in a row. Since I couldn't relax the last time, I decided to go right after the 11 AM opening. I actually had a chiropractic appointment at 9 AM, so I had some time to kill and ended up roaming around outside, feeling quite hungry and thirsty. Here’s what I ordered this time: - Suntory Draft Beer: 600 yen - Baron Valrome (half bottle): 1900 yen - San Antonio Soave Fontana: 680 yen - "Paripi" (crispy peppers with chicken soboro): 390 yen - Extra-large chicken breast steak: 1100 yen - Chicken gizzard and mushroom ajillo: 880 yen - 2 pieces of baguette: 160 yen - Shirasu (baby sardines) and fresh seaweed peperoncino: 1100 yen First, I had the draft beer, which tasted even better since I was so thirsty. I also tried the "Paripi," which I had been curious about since my last visit. It was definitely a good choice—delicious with a fun crispy texture from the peppers, and at a reasonable price, it was a perfect snack. I even got a little carried away and ordered a half bottle of sparkling wine for lunch! I decided to try the full-size chicken breast steak this time since I had it in a half size during my first visit. Surprisingly, even though it was chicken breast, it was juicy and moist. This time, they provided a garlic sauce, as they made it for the first time that day. The sauce was packed with garlic, meaning I’d definitely need some breath mints afterward, but it was delicious! The “extra-large” portion was quite sizable, yet it didn’t feel heavy, and with the garlic sauce, I was able to enjoy it fully. While chatting with the staff, I learned they love the ajillo at Rifurando, which put me in the mood for it too. They recommended the chicken gizzard and mushroom ajillo, so I had to try it. It arrived piping hot, almost burning my mouth, but it was perfect when paired with the sparkling wine. For the final course, I chose the shirasu and fresh seaweed peperoncino from the lunch menu. I noticed the option to have it without spice, so I requested that. I love the combination of shirasu and seaweed, and it was really delicious. Additionally, ZaBro is a cashless payment store that offers a 20% cashback promotion in the Shinagawa area, and it accepts both PayPay and d払い, which is very convenient. Even without the cashback, it's a wonderful restaurant with great food and a cozy atmosphere, and I will definitely keep coming back!

I went out wanting to eat pasta, but I was too intrigued by the Zaburo bowl and changed my mind. It's a rice dish topped with a rich meat sauce. It was delicious, but personally, I felt there wasn't quite enough rice, and the flavor was a bit strong, which seems like it would pair well with alcohol. I had plans to drink afterwards, so I regretted not being able to try any snacks or other dishes. I have a feeling I might be working around here in the future, so I definitely want to give this place another try.

Recently, I had lunch at zaBro in Omori, an establishment known for its creative dishes featuring domestic chicken as well as its focus on pasta and pizza. Here’s what I ordered that day: - Suntory draft beer, 600 yen (jug) - San Antonio Soave Fontana, 680 yen (glass) - Hakodate Wine, preservative-free Niagara, 680 yen (glass) - Torre Zella Cabernet Sauvignon, 660 yen (glass) - Caprese salad with cherry tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, 690 yen - Grilled chicken thigh with tomato sauce, 1,100 yen - Cheese menchikatsu (fried minced chicken cutlet) with tomato sauce, 390 yen - Shinshu chicken white liver pate (served with 4 pieces of baguette), 770 yen - Japanese-style pasta with chicken soboro and green onions topped with a soft-boiled egg, 1,100 yen Firstly, the draft beer was perfect for a daytime meal when you're feeling hungry. The Caprese salad, which I had enjoyed during my last visit, had plenty of fresh basil, and the portion size was just right. After that, I switched to white wine and chose grilled chicken thigh for my main dish. You could choose between the tomato sauce or a special sweet sauce, and I went with the recommended tomato sauce. zaBro has been a chicken specialty restaurant in Omori for three generations, so you can’t go wrong with it! However, I realized that I mistakenly ordered the cheese menchikatsu, which also came with tomato sauce. While it was delicious, perhaps I should have chosen something different. To balance things out, I decided to order the white liver pate as a light snack, but it turned out to be quite filling since it came with four pieces of baguette. For dessert, I had the Japanese-style pasta with chicken soboro and green onions, topped with a soft-boiled egg. This pasta is made with fresh noodles from a local shop called Rifurando, and it was absolutely delicious. The warm egg on top was a perfect addition. Sadly, I arrived a bit late due to a prior engagement, which made the experience feel a bit rushed. Next time, I’ll aim to get there earlier to enjoy my meal more leisurely. This was my second visit, and I was pleasantly surprised that the staff remembered me and even my previous orders. They were friendly and responsive when I had questions, yet also knew when to give me space, creating a comfortable atmosphere overall.

On Saturday, I went for lunch at "Creative Domestic Chicken Cuisine PASTA&PIZZA zaBro" in Omori, which opened in December last year. The owner is the son of Shinmatsu and Sasami Tsuki, and the restaurant focuses on Italian-inspired creative chicken dishes. I had been curious about it for a while. While they also offer holiday lunch options, I appreciated that I could order from the regular menu since I like to enjoy a drink even during lunch on my days off. Here’s what I ordered that day: - Suntory draft beer (pint) - 600 yen - Gariguette Valigoule Blanc (glass) - 480 yen - Tremallresca Chardonnay - 850 yen - Caprese salad with mozzarella and cherry tomatoes - 680 yen - Extra-large chicken breast steak (half size) - ? yen - Deep-fried chicken thigh mince with cheese - 550 yen - Shirasu (whitebait) and fresh seaweed pizza (half size) - ? yen - Mushroom and bacon tomato cream pasta (from the HOLIDAY LAUNCH MENU) - 1100 yen The restaurant had a homey atmosphere typical of family-run places, making it easy to relax, even for a first-time visit. The menu had many appealing dishes; the Caprese had a perfect portion size and featured ample basil leaves, which I appreciated. I asked about the size of the extra-large chicken breast steak and they confirmed it was indeed "extra-large." I decided to go for the half size, which turned out to be a great choice. Despite being chicken breast, it was moist and juicy, well-seasoned, and I found it delicious even without the salt and sauce provided. I was also happy to see pickles on the side. The deep-fried chicken thigh mince with cheese was perfect with beer. The minced meat and cheese were wrapped in wonton skin and fried until crispy, making it an easy snack to enjoy. While sipping on white wine, I contemplated ordering another dish, either pizza or pasta. They mentioned that half-sized pizzas were also an option, which I found very accommodating. I went for the shirasu and fresh seaweed pizza, and the homemade pizza crust was easy to eat. The combination of shirasu, seaweed, and cheese was a classic that I enjoyed. Just as I was about to finish my meal with the pizza, I ended up chatting with the staff, which led me to order pasta too. Although I could have ordered a half-size, I impulsively decided on a full portion. The mushroom and bacon tomato cream pasta featured chewy fresh pasta and was quite tasty. Next time, I think I'll try the chicken and spinach basil cream pasta. With its friendly atmosphere and amiable staff, this place might become one of my favorites. I saw several other dishes I wanted to try, so I look forward to stopping by again for a Saturday lunch.

I wanted to try this place during lunchtime. The salad arrived first, and after tasting it, I found the homemade dressing was delicious, which made me hopeful about the pasta to come, based on my previous experiences. After a short wait, I got the tomato cream pasta. I wondered if it was freshly made pasta because it was chewy. It was tasty, but lacked a bit of punch. Since I ordered a drink set, the dessert came in a self-service style with disposable cups. If you try to fill it up too much, it seems like it might leak. I believe the taste of food and drinks can change depending on the dishes and cups used. Overall, it feels like a rather bland review.

Occasionally, we hold company drinking parties at this restaurant. The owner and his wife are incredibly friendly. The food is stylish and delicious. As someone who loves spicy food, the bright red, spice-loaded chicken is absolutely the best! There’s so much seasoning that they even provide plastic gloves so you can really dig in. It goes perfectly with beer!
