Today is Thursday, but it's a day off so I'm going out for lunch. However, it's hot in Sapporo today! It's over 26 degrees Celsius. On a day like this, I can't eat hot food, so I think I'll go for Italian. I was briefly tempted by a café on the way up from the Nissho Building to the ground floor, but (laughs) although it's a café, they serve dishes like shrimp pilaf and meat sauce spaghetti, but also Chinese rice bowls, beef bowls, and salmon sets... Not bad (laughs). But today, I'm in the mood for Italian, so I visited this place. It's a building on the 5th street with a post office and a Docomo shop inside. Well, there are also several dining options downstairs. It's been quite a while since I went up to the 2nd floor of this building from the main entrance. It's probably been about 20 years, maybe even 30 years ago since I used to eat Italian food here. I looked at the blackboard menu in front of the entrance, with 6 options from A to F and for some reason, H? (laughs) Maybe because it's slightly more expensive than the others? I'll go with my personal favorite, the "Clam Spaghetti for 1,290 yen." When I entered the restaurant, there were 4 female customers already seated. The staff guided me to a counter seat, and handed me the menu. When I looked at it, the price of the Clam Spaghetti was hidden with correction tape. I asked the staff, "Is it not available?" and they replied, "It is." So, I ordered an iced coffee to go with it. First, the salad arrived in about 3 minutes. The main ingredients were lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and boiled eggs... What fraction is this? (laughs) There are also croutons. In the past, I used to order beer with the salad and drink while eating... The Clam Spaghetti arrived 12 minutes after ordering. Well, it's basically Vongole Bianco (laughs). It's bigger than the usual Vongole, isn't it? The pasta, with a good amount of salt, has a perfect firmness. The garlic isn't too strong, but I feel like the olive oil is a bit weak. However, it's not overpowering, so the balance of flavors is delicious. I wonder what I should eat next... Thank you for the meal.
