[Takeout available] A vegetable shop opened in December 2021 in the Atsubetsu Nishi area. The prices are very reasonable. The shop is located along Kitajusanjo Kitago-dori (Hokkaido Route 864, Omasa Higashi Ganko Line), about 100m from the intersection with Yamamoto-dori heading towards Ebetsu. I had planned to visit last year during my Foodlog activities, but couldn't make it until a year and a half later. The shop is small with lots of vegetables, so the aisles are narrow and the staff are busy restocking. I was blocked 3-4 times and had to take detours, a few words of apology would have been nice. The overall customer service was so-so. The bell peppers were cheap and fresh, which was nice. I also bought mushrooms at a good price and made mushroom soup. It's quite affordable, but the customer service is lacking, so I probably won't visit again.

I wandered around the area near Atsubetsu Nishi from Saturday morning... I heard that there is a greengrocer that opens at 9 o'clock, so I visited. It was just past 9 o'clock, but there were already several cars parked in front of the store, creating a lively atmosphere. As I looked around the store, I noticed that the prices were much cheaper than those at supermarkets, like a large bunch of green onions for only 298 yen. I thought the prices at "Tanuki COMICHI" were cheap at 398 yen, but this was even cheaper. However, carrying such a large bundle seemed a bit difficult, so I gave up. Many cheap greengrocers often have lower freshness, but this place had reasonably fresh produce, which is why customers flock here in the morning. They also had non-standard products, which is a win-win for both producers and consumers. Currently, they have a variety of mountain vegetables like fuki shoots, princess bamboo shoots, kogomi ferns, and wild vegetables for sale. I purchased princess bamboo shoots, lettuce, and Wabisuke's hamburger (forgot to take photos of some items). I grilled the princess bamboo shoots with the skin on and lightly salted them, enjoying the taste of spring. Although I cannot use this store for daily shopping due to its location, those who live nearby should definitely visit. Thank you for the delicious meal.
