I found a review that I forgot to write while organizing photos. It's from a visit a few years ago. This restaurant serves my favorite shabu-shabu, sukiyaki, and steak - I love it so much that I even set it as my phone wallpaper. I've been back a few times since then, but I thought I had already written a review and often didn't take photos because I was there for work. The food is incredibly delicious, so I want to introduce it. There used to be two grandmas running the place, I wonder how they're doing now. This time I had shabu-shabu by myself. The front meat is top quality. When you shabu-shabu this thick meat and eat it, you can experience the pinnacle of taste. For dessert, I had their signature curry. It's not spicy, but the high-quality beef they use makes it delicious. Ah, I really want to go back after such a long time!

Good quality meat with great flavor. The atmosphere of the restaurant is unique, like a coffee shop. They have dishes like omurice and Napolitan that you wouldn't expect. @4,000

I stayed at Novotel Sapporo and checked in after 8:30 PM. I was planning to have dinner at the hotel, but then I found out it was already last order! The only place nearby was a mysterious glowing "Ann's House". I asked the front desk and they recommended it, saying "The food is good, I recommend it." It was almost 9 PM on a Sunday, and even though it looked like a residential area, I decided to give it a try. Inside, it had a casual family restaurant vibe. I was really hungry, so I ordered the Healthy Hot Pot course for two at 3500 yen! A kind old lady with a bent back brought out various dishes. The Healthy Hot Pot was a shabu-shabu with plenty of collagen, two types of pork, and lots of vegetables. "It's not so healthy anymore, but I'll give you some beef as a service!" And the beef was really top-notch... The vegetables were fresh and delicious too! Don't judge a restaurant by its appearance. This course would cost more in Tokyo. It's a hidden gem. If you're tired of Sapporo, the lunch menu looks delicious too (according to the menu). Definitely give it a try. It wins the Best Value for Money award! And the Grandma's Hospitality award (self-proclaimed).

I was very curious because it was very close to my house and I saw it in a magazine. The exterior was lit up with red lights and the words "Ann's House" were glowing, surrounded by pink and green lights, giving off a mysterious atmosphere that didn't seem like a regular butcher shop. I checked out the dinner menu, but the prices were quite high so I felt a bit hesitant to try something new. For lunch, my friend and I ordered curry and pork rice bowl. We tried both dishes, but they were just average. I didn't find them particularly delicious. In terms of portion size and quality, it didn't feel like a great deal.

I visited this restaurant after watching a guitar concert. I heard from a friend that they are particular about their meat, so I decided to check it out. The building is white and mysteriously lit, with a red neon sign as a landmark. There is a parking lot next to the entrance stairs, and there is also a Times parking nearby. The inside of the restaurant has a cool retro Showa era vibe, with elderly ladies warmly welcoming guests. The menu mainly consists of meat dishes like shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, with a wide variety to choose from. I ordered the sukiyaki hot pot for today. The meat is sliced by a machine after the order is placed, and even an amateur can tell that it is high quality by the marbling. I regret not choosing shabu-shabu instead of sukiyaki... It may not be cheap like major barbecue chains, but the taste is worth the price! Above all, despite the cool retro atmosphere, the lady's dedication to meat and the warm service from the elderly lady make this place suitable for dates, business meetings, or family gatherings. It's a very cozy place. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered the special set for two people (4750 yen per person). It included steak, grilled shabu-shabu, a little bit of vegetables, and rice. I felt like it was a good deal since rice was also included. However, I wished there was some kind of soup to go with the meal. I asked the staff, but they said they didn't have any soup-like options. I think it would have been nice to have corn soup, oxtail soup, miso soup, or clear soup. The steak and grilled shabu-shabu both had a nice balance of tenderness and chewiness. It was interesting to compare the two textures. Overall, I think this restaurant is enjoyable, especially if you go with a larger group.

This restaurant, quietly standing behind the Novotel, can be considered a long-established place. I finally had the chance to visit for lunch the other day. The interior is bright and has a homely atmosphere, as if it's run by a family. I had the braised pork and pork loin bowl. The braised pork was tender and quite generous in portion. To add some variety, paprika is included as an accent, which is a nice touch. The rice portion was also generous, and I left feeling full even though it was just lunchtime. Although I didn't try it this time, the curry also looks delicious. I'll definitely try it next time. It's a casual place to go, so I recommend it.

I used this restaurant for a farewell party for a Bangladeshi friend. We had shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, and the Wagyu beef here was really delicious! The soft meat with beautiful marbling just melts in your mouth. The refreshing sauce brought out the natural flavor of the meat. The family-run atmosphere of the restaurant was also great. The herb tea served at the end was a nice touch. I would love to try their curry for lunch next time.
