When it's hot, I crave cold soba noodles like zaru soba, but I don't like the zaru soba from Yakumo-san. The warm soba noodles with ezo matsutake mushrooms that I had before were delicious. You order through a self-service system before paying.
- Ezo matsutake grated soba (cold) 900 yen
[Soy sauce]
The balance of bonito and kelp in the broth is good, and I personally like the slightly strong flavor of the broth.
[Noodles]
The medium-thick noodles felt quite firm today. The corners of the noodles had a strong bite, making it difficult to eat because they were long. I recommend the warm soba as it doesn't feel this way.
[Shrimp & matsutake mushrooms]
The shrimp tempura was firm and delicious. The matsutake mushrooms were fried just right and tasty. The grated daikon radish and sakura shrimp were very good, but there was too much mizuna, so I finished it quickly as it felt intrusive.
[Overall impression]
The portion of noodles was not large, but I managed to finish it. The price is high, and the fact that sesame soba noodles are not popular is because I realized once again that the level of the chain restaurants offering it is low.

Soba noodles with sesame seeds at Gomasoba Yakumo in Kitahiroshima. They offer a simple yet delicious mori soba (cold soba noodles) for 600 yen and a tasty gomoku onigiri (rice ball with various ingredients) for 260 yen. The noodles are cold, firm, and have a nice texture, perfect for enjoying the refreshing taste of soba. I chose mine without green onions as a topping. Overall, it was a delightful meal at this food court restaurant. Highly recommended!

I came to Mitsui Outlet Park Kitahiroshima to buy spring clothes and shoes. When I arrived, it was lunchtime and the food court was crowded. I decided to have some light lunch and chose sesame soba at Yakumo. I ended up giving in to the temptation of the mini shrimp tempura bowl set. The soba had a nice firm texture and was quite filling. After eating, I walked around the mall to burn off some calories.

I chose this restaurant! The Mini Don Set for 770 yen seemed like a good deal, but they were out of tempura so they couldn't make the set. The staff recommended ordering separately, so I ended up ordering the popular No.1 Ebi Oroshi Soba for 902 yen, small rice for 132 yen, and Anago Tempura for 286 yen, totaling 1320 yen. It ended up being more expensive than I expected. I should have just ordered the Mori Soba. The buzzer wasn't given to me, and the tempura was made right in front of me, which was interesting to watch. I had to wait for quite a while, but the tempura was freshly made and hot, so I was lucky. The Ebi Oroshi Soba had a lot of noodles, so I had my son help me finish it. The soba broth was flavorful and delicious. The soba was supposed to be "sesame soba," but I couldn't really taste the sesame. I made a mistake by not getting the right combination of dishes, but it turned out to be a happy accident with the Anago Tempura overflowing from the bowl. Overall, it was a good meal.

It was a great experience at this restaurant. The soba noodles had a nice texture and were refreshing. The shrimp tempura was freshly fried after ordering, so it was crispy and delicious. I wish they sold the tempura separately because I wanted to eat more of it.

This is a place in Hokkaido, specifically the food court on the second floor of Mitsui Outlet Park in Otaru, Hokkaido. Due to the rain from the typhoon, I decided to visit Mitsui Outlet Park after a long time. I parked my car in the rooftop parking lot and headed to the food court on the second floor. I tried a new restaurant this time, ordered the "kake soba" and added an "ebi tempura" from the tempura corner. The soba broth was light with a sweet soy sauce flavor, but the temperature was quite low. The soba noodles were pre-cooked and lacked sesame flavor, with a soft texture. The tempura was lukewarm and lacked crispiness. Overall, I prefer another soba restaurant called "Yudetaro" for better taste and value.

I was feeling a bit hungry on my way back, so I stopped by Yagumo in the food court at Mitsui Outlet! I ordered the mini bowl set (cold soba, shrimp tempura bowl) and in about 3 minutes, my buzzer rang... The bowl and cold soba were both in mini size, but they were just enough to satisfy my hunger. The cold soba was delicious and went down smoothly. The tempura bowl was also very tasty. I'm heading back now. Have a nice day!

This is a review of a restaurant in the food court of Mitsui Outlet Park in Kitahiroshima City. Although I didn't plan on ordering here, I happened to notice an eel bowl and decided to try it. I ordered the eel bowl and soba set for ¥1850. It had been a while since I had soba noodles from Goma Soba Yakumo, so I couldn't compare it to eating at the actual restaurant. The eel bowl was slightly better than what you would get at a beef bowl chain, but not outstanding. It was not bad, but considering the price, I probably wouldn't order it again. I'll make sure not to accidentally order it again next year. Thank you for the meal~.

I wrote a review quite a while ago, at least about 5 years ago, but it disappeared (;つД`) Oh well, since it's gone, I ate there again. When I was around 17-18 years old, my sister took me to a now-closed shop where I had cold dipping soba for the first time! Up until then, I had only eaten regular soba or soba with broth, so it was quite a shockingly delicious experience. Since then, I have loved cold dipping soba. The cold dipping soba at this place is cheap and delicious! I had never tried anything else here, so this time I ordered their basic menu item, "mori soba" (517 yen). When I received it, I was surprised by how much there was! Eating just the soba, the sesame flavor is good, and with each bite, the aroma of the soba blends in making it delicious. The soba dipping sauce also has a good dashi flavor, which I like. It was so delicious, and I finished it in no time! They also have a "mega mori soba" for 847 yen, which is 2.5 servings! Cheap and delicious, I will definitely use Hakkou's sesame soba again somewhere! Thank you to the "Kitahiroshima store"!

I had Mori Soba for the second time. The dipping sauce was not great, but the soba itself was better than expected. The portion was large. The sauce was so sweet and spicy, it reminded me of mitarashi dango sauce. It's unusual for soba, but somehow it was cute and I think it worked well with the soba. It's kind of strange, but in the end, it's okay.

In Hokkaido, you can find various soba restaurants serving "gomasoba," such as "Gomasoba Yutsuru," which I haven't seen outside of Hokkaido. This time, I visited a chain restaurant in the food court of Mitsui Outlet Park Kitahiroshima. I decided to try their most popular dish, the "Ebi Oroshi Soba" (902 yen), which is served cold. The soba noodles were slightly firm and had a hint of sesame flavor. The soba broth was mild, and the small shrimp tempura was crispy. The dish also included shredded omelet and cucumber. Overall, the soba was decent and perfect for a quick and casual meal in the food court.

It's Yakumo Kitahiroshima. My grandchild was born four months ago, and now that the state of emergency has been lifted, I finally felt like visiting. They were completely different from the photos, and the impression was like, "Bring Grandma too." It was Grandma's birthday, so they celebrated. I'm going back on Sunday, but Grandma is going back on Tuesday. On Sunday, we're going to Mitsui Outlet Park for lunch. I don't like going in the opposite direction on the day we're leaving, but I won't go against what they've decided. Our favorite place is Nanahei, and Grandma chose soba instead of salt ramen. It's probably the right choice for an elderly person. I had kakesoba with tempura like shrimp tempura, squid tempura, and fish cake tempura. It's not something to talk about as soba, but it's still "soba with falling stars." The soba is decent, but the soup is sweet, like the soup at a local soba shop. It's not as good as standing soba. This time, as long as Grandma is satisfied with the soba, I don't really care. But she left some behind. What's wrong? The tempura is not from here. I thought it was Marugame level, but it turned out to be Marugame's tempura.

Morisoba large serving 627, Edamame tempura 286. The soba noodles had a strong sweetness, more like a sesame-based sweetness, which was surprisingly good. The noodles were cooked al dente, not like regular soba noodles, but it worked well. The dipping sauce was disappointing, at a store-bought level. It was kid-friendly and surprisingly, even I found it tolerable. Mitsui doesn't have good ramen, so soba might be the better choice here.

I added an anago tempura to my natto soba. I used to go to Parco's Yakumo often, but when I tried it again after a long time, it felt different. The noodles are thick and chewy. The broth is also on the sweeter side. The tempura has a lot of batter and lacks the flavor of anago.

While shopping at Mitsui Outlet Park, I stopped by for lunch. I was feeling hungry but didn't want anything too greasy, so I was glad to find a soba noodle restaurant. The soba noodles had a nice texture and even though it was a chain restaurant, the taste was satisfying.

I visited Gomasoba Yakumo in Kitahiroshima for the first time! It's located in the food court inside Mitsui Outlet Park. I ordered the kakesoba for 539 yen including tax. They seem to provide freshly made soba, so I had to wait for about 8 minutes after ordering. Unfortunately, I was passed by a customer who ordered kakeudon. It took quite a while for my order to come out. When it finally arrived, it looked like it was going to spill even before I picked it up. Now, onto the main event - the kakesoba. It was served in a generous portion, which was unexpected since I had the image of standing soba in mind. The broth was lacking in flavor, and the noodles were a bit soft. It's been a while since I had gomasoba, and I wonder if it's because it's in a food court or if this is just how Yakumo's soba is. Overall, it was a bit disappointing.

It's the end of the year so we're going to a soba restaurant for the first time as a couple. We ordered the Tempura and Soba Set (cold udon) for 1,331 yen. It seems like this place is like a food court, similar to Marugame. There are about 5-6 staff members, standing in the back. They are wearing masks, and if it's hard to hear, you can just come closer. Social distancing is important. They have set menus, so we chose from there. It's nice that you can switch the soba to udon. The udon and tempura are each on a separate tray. It's luxurious to use two trays for one person. The tempura is big, so it doesn't fit on one tray. It looks nice because the tempura is big, but it's a bit hard to eat. However, it's delicious when it's freshly fried. The soba broth is sweet and rich, and the noodles are thin. Thank you for the meal.

My daughter's family, grandchildren, and wife came to the "Mitsui Outlet Park" after visiting the grave. After wandering around, we sat at the food court on the second floor and shared the "Hiyashi Nuki @680" from "Gomasoba Yakumo" restaurant. The toppings included green onions, naruto fish cake, tempura crumbs, cucumber, and boiled egg. The dipping sauce is served in a small cup. The cold sesame soba had a smooth texture and a good crunch, but the soba noodles were a bit difficult to slurp. It seemed a bit pricey. I wonder if they provide soba broth as well? Thank you for the meal.

After a long time, I went out to Mitsui Outlet Park Sapporo Kitahiroshima and had some delicious chilled sesame noodles at Yakumo! I enjoyed the cold inaniwa udon noodles. I always eat them at this time of year at other stores too! Since it had been a while, it tasted even better! Next time, I'll come a little earlier and go to Samurai for some soup curry!

I had work in Kitahiroshima, but time was tight. I didn't want to skip a meal, so I parked my car at Mitsui Outlet and quickly headed to the food court. To my surprise, it was filled with foreigners! I had forgotten that there was a new coronavirus outbreak going on. I decided to eat at Gomaso, which was the least crowded, and then quickly get back to work. I went to Yagumo in the food court! The soba there was tastier than convenience store soba, and it was ready in just 1 minute. Mixing it with natto gave it an interesting texture, slipping smoothly into my mouth. It was quick and convenient, but not the best value for money.
