After finishing work, I had some time to kill while waiting for my boyfriend to pick me up at 10 PM. I wandered around and ended up at this café. It's located on the first floor of a hotel on Tanukikoji Street. The café is not like your typical hotel café. As soon as you walk in, you see a bookshelf on the right side - perfect for passing the time. I couldn't decide which cake to have with my coffee, so I ordered a seasonal coffee called "Winter" by Morihiko, which had a slightly sweet and rich flavor, making it easy to drink with a hint of bitterness. I also ordered a Shibust, which had a jelly-like texture similar to pudding, with just the right amount of caramel sweetness on top and a subtle cinnamon apple flavor at the bottom, almost like an apple pie. I had never tried Shibust before, but it paired perfectly with the coffee. Even after finishing my meal, I enjoyed reading while waiting for my boyfriend. If I were visiting Sapporo as a tourist from mainland Japan, I would love to stay at a hotel like this. The location is convenient and easily accessible in the city, and it seems like a great place to relax and spend time. I will definitely come back here to relax again.

I had a two-hour gap between movies on Tanuki Koji, so I decided to grab a quick bite and get some work done at this place I had researched beforehand. It's really great! They have bite-sized bread, affordable drinks, and soup. I was especially happy to see they had espresso. Today, I had a pizza bread, salad, and espresso for 880 yen. The prices are good! The bread was surprisingly delicious. The salad, which I think was 220 yen, was also well-prepared. My hunger was satisfied, and I was able to work peacefully. I wish I had started using this convenient store earlier.

I was on a business trip in Sapporo and checked out of my hotel. I had some time to kill before lunch, so I decided to wander around. I came across this place that caught my eye, so I went in. At first, I thought it was the hotel front desk, but it turned out to be a nice little cafe. I ordered an iced cocoa, as shown in the picture. The counter seats had outlets, so there were quite a few people working on their laptops. The iced cocoa was delicious, and the atmosphere was quiet and calming. It's a great place to relax.

LAMP LIGHT BOOKS CAFE is a popular cafe located a 3-5 minute walk from Nishi 8-chome Station. It is attached to a beautiful hotel and is open from early morning until late at night. The cafe offers Wi-Fi and power outlets, making it convenient for those who want to work. The concept of the cafe is to provide a space surrounded by beautiful bookshelves where customers can enjoy a drink while reading their favorite books. I tried the Earl Grey tea this time. Despite the well-equipped facilities, the drink prices are reasonable, similar to Starbucks. The menu offers a wide variety of drinks, making it a place where you can keep coming back without getting bored. If you are looking for a cafe on the west side of Susukino, be sure to visit this place. Thank you for the meal!

It's a holiday. While walking along Tanukikoji Street, I came across a very stylish café. This café is located on the first floor of a hotel and can be used by non-guests as well. Upon entering, I was overwhelmed by the many books lined up. Before taking a seat, I placed my order with the staff at the counter on the left side of the entrance. On this day, I ordered drip coffee (550 yen) and tomato and mozzarella pizza (220 yen). It was ready in a few minutes, and I went to the counter to pick up my order. The service style is minimal, so I had to get my own water. The pizza was a perfect size for a light snack and very delicious. The coffee was from Morihiko-san, so it was undeniably good. The seating area had plenty of comfortable chairs, and I was able to enjoy a quiet time surrounded by many books. It's a recommended place to relax and unwind on Tanukikoji Street.

I went there again on a weekday morning off. The atmosphere in the city is lively and cheerful, with the end of the fiscal year and the arrival of spring. However, this shop remains calm and serene as always. I was planning to have lunch, so I asked for a half portion of bread. It's nice that you can choose the size. The café latte was also delicious. I was soothed by the lovely atmosphere and felt motivated to do my best at the beginning of the fiscal year. Thank you for the meal! I will definitely go again.

I stayed at the hotel for 2 days and enjoyed the breakfast included. There were 5 types of bread to choose from, both sweet and savory options, but no toast. In addition to bread, the breakfast included salad, soup, boiled eggs, and drinks, and the portion was generous. Water was self-service. The bread and soup changed daily and were all delicious. The cafe seems to be affiliated with Mori Hico, and the coffee was also very tasty!

I wish there was a cafe where I could work. I regret not going in here before because I always wondered if it was a hotel. It's really great - not too crowded, quiet, plenty of seats, spacious, and they have charging stations. You can also enjoy bread and cookies with your drink. It's nice!

On my day off, I woke up early and felt like it would be a waste to stay at home, so I went out. I love the atmosphere here, whether it's morning or night. I felt a bit guilty for ordering cheesecake in the morning when there were other guests staying at the hotel. I enjoyed reading a book for a while, and slowly the guests started to leave as they had check-out times. Then, a few customers who seemed to have stopped by before lunch started to come in from outside. The time passed by leisurely, with people coming and going. I spent a relaxing time observing people. This is a lovely restaurant that I adore, with delicious food and a great atmosphere. They welcome guests at any time. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I was walking around the end of Tanuki Koji when it started to get cold. I saw the sign for "morihiko" across from a clothing store and decided to go in. There were lots of books and it was a cozy space, so I ended up staying and enjoying a warm drink while reading a book. I love it here! Plus, it was great that I could use an outlet.

For breakfast and to kill time, I visited the cafe attached to the Lamp Light Books Hotel. This cafe is open 24 hours and serves a variety of food including bread, cakes, salad, cookies, and coffee. I ordered a half portion of Honey Orange bread, a Seasonal Chocolate Cake, and a single Espresso. The bread was warm and had a lovely aroma of honey and orange, while the cake was a delightful combination of red wine mousse and berries. The Espresso, however, was too acidic and bitter for my liking. I enjoyed reading books like "The Lonely Gourmet," "Sapporo Cafe Weather," and "Sapporo Bird Watching Guide" after my meal. The cafe had Wi-Fi and power outlets, making it a relaxing place to spend time. After a long break, I headed to the bakery next. Thank you for the meal.

I stayed at Lamp Light Books Hotel! The stylish hotel has a cafe on the first floor, which was called Morihiko! You can use the cafe even if you don't stay at the hotel (*^^*) There are plenty of books from picture books to novels, and the atmosphere is great. The location is at the end of Tanukikoji, so I think it's a hidden gem. I was torn between the cheesecake and the gateau chocolat, but I chose the gateau chocolat. It was delicious, and since I love books, it was a happy space♪

I used the breakfast service during my stay. They use bread from Pan O Traditionnel. The bread, salad, soup, and coffee were all very satisfying in the morning. The portions were also decent, so I was satisfied in that regard as well.

Visited in search of breakfast. It's a book cafe with many travel-related books. Although it's located in a hotel, there were many customers who weren't staying there. I had coffee for 550 yen, two types of cheese and edamame for 154 yen, and tomato and mozzarella pizza for 198 yen. The bread and coffee were average. Therefore, I felt it was a bit pricey, but it's a good place to kill time.

I stopped by because I wanted to do a little work on my laptop while on the go. They have Wi-Fi and power outlets available. It was a bit crowded around 3pm, but the space was beautiful with lots of books. The cafe inside the hotel had a strong presence, it didn't feel like a typical hotel cafe. They serve coffee and sweets from MORIHICO, and traditional bread called pain au traditionnel - this is not just any cafe. They even have alcohol available. I was surprised to find out that they are open 24 hours! That's impressive. I realized they are connected to the hotel, which explains the 24-hour access. I had a relaxing time with delicious sweets (I ordered the Shibust) and a drink. The atmosphere was very cozy and I have become a fan. However, if you want to use a laptop, the seating options are a bit limited. But the main focus here is on books, so that's understandable. Overall, it was a great experience and I have found a new favorite spot!

On this day, after being turned down by two places, I decided to visit this cafe in Tanukikoji that I had been curious about. Located in a hotel, the cafe attached to the bookstore "Lamp Light Books Sapporo" is open 24 hours! With about 4000 books mainly focused on "travel" and "mystery" lined up, you can quietly enjoy coffee while reading a book. Some people were adjusting their time before checking into the hotel. I also used it to adjust my work schedule. At "Lamp Light Books Cafe," they use the popular coffee from "MORIHICO" in Sapporo. They also have MORIHICO's sweets, bread from the Sapporo bakery "Pain au Traditionnel," and craft fruit beer from Hokkaido on the menu, so you can enjoy reading and dining together. The atmosphere and location make it seem easy to continue using in the future.

On a certain holiday, I remembered a cafe & hotel in Tanukikoji 7-chome while adjusting my morning schedule. When I arrived, there were many guests checking out of the hotel area. I decided to order an "Iced Coffee (550 yen)" as I didn't have a strong preference for anything on the menu that day. I took a sip... It was obvious that it wasn't a pre-made drink, with a slight bitterness and a subtle richness that made it easy to drink. The presence of power outlets and WiFi made my time there enjoyable, but I do wish the coffee was a bit cheaper. Thank you for the meal.

The cafe tables at the hotel on Tanuki Street have outlets, making it a great place to study or work quietly. Guests staying at the hotel can find many books to read in their rooms. The cafe is very quiet, making it a perfect place to focus on work.

Recently, there are many cafes that have a lot of stylish books. There are also many here. It seems they serve coffee from Morihiko. The seasonal coffee I chose that day was also from Morihiko. I think it was called Rira? It was a mild and easy-to-drink delicious coffee. I also had pizza as a light meal, which was delicious. It was a comfortable atmosphere, so I would like to visit again.

I wanted to see the photos, so I visited during the morning hours. It's a book cafe run by a hotel. It seems like a nice place to stay and relax while reading. They have 4000 books in their collection, with a focus on travel and mystery books. It's located facing Tanuki Koji, so it's easy to find. There is a famous ramen shop "Ten to Sen" nearby. They offer fresh orange juice for 605 yen, iced orange tea for 550 yen, and tomato and mozzarella pizza for 198 yen. The mozzarella pizza is small but surprisingly authentic and delicious. They warm it up nicely before serving. They also have cakes and light snacks like bread. The cakes change depending on the season. I enjoyed reading a manga that I was interested in from a cookbook. I had a relaxing time in the open and airy space. I only planned to stay for a short time, but ended up spending a leisurely hour. It was a wonderful book cafe. Thank you for the meal!

After lunch, I had some time before my next appointment, so I decided to walk along the west side of Tanuki Koji to avoid the crowds. As I was strolling, I came across a hotel with books displayed, which turned out to be a cafe. The menu listed coffee and I decided to go in and check it out. I placed my order at the counter and waited for my number to be called. I noticed that this style of service was also popular at another cafe in Kikusui Hotel, so it seems to be a recent trend. I ordered the Shibusto dessert and a seasonal coffee. I found a seat near the bookshelf and observed the different genres of books available, ranging from cooking to mystery. Not being a fan of reading, I picked up a magazine to pass the time. When my number was called, I picked up my order and returned to my seat. The coffee had a soft and mellow sweetness with no noticeable bitterness or acidity, making it easy to drink and delicious. The Shibusto dessert, with its custard, apple, and flaky pastry, was a delightful mix of textures and flavors. It paired well with the coffee and I enjoyed every bite. Even as the coffee cooled, it maintained its smooth sweetness. Choosing this cafe was definitely the right decision. Surrounded by books, it was a nice place to take a breather. It seems like a great spot for book lovers to visit.
