From morning, there is all-you-can-eat roast beef, haha. Yummy! In addition to that, there are also Genghis Khan, pork simmered in soy sauce, fried chicken, and more. Meat lovers will be thrilled. The taste is decent, but overall, it was a satisfying breakfast. Thank you for the meal.

A hearty beef stew with plenty of Hayashi sauce on top of rice, topped with scrambled eggs to give it an omurice-like twist. I also added some pork cutlets and pork loin (ingredients for pork bowl) on top. The tomato sauce, which seemed to have been prepared with care rather than just being store-bought, was delicious. They offer a variety of local specialties, including products from Tokachi, making it hard to choose. I wanted to go back for more servings, but unfortunately, I was short on time and had to settle for just one plate. The hotel's top floor offers a great view of the city of Obihiro. The once chic bar has now been renovated into a breakfast venue with a fantastic view. I wonder where that grand piano went. The underground mall hot spring was also wonderful. There are only two elevators, so during busy check-in and breakfast times, waiting is inevitable. Additionally, due to the current situation, people are avoiding crowded elevators, so mistiming could result in a long wait. However, the breakfast was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The ultimate meat festival breakfast in Obihiro. There is no doubt that this is the place where you can find the best meat dishes for breakfast! Come on, meat lovers, let's stay here! Here are the meat dishes: Chicken - Asahikawa soul food's "Nyanko-yaki" (fried chicken). Pork - Ginger pork, pork bowl. Beef - Beef curry, roast beef. Lamb - Genghis Khan. Asahikawa ramen comes with chashu. Other dishes include deep-fried smelt, squid legs tempura, simmered vegetables, cod roe, salted fish ovaries, grilled salmon collar... There are plenty of other dishes, including bread and dessert. It's a calorie intake for the whole day from the morning.

It's the usual breakfast with little variation, but it's probably the best among the hotel options in Obihiro. I recommend the hot springs and breakfast. The meat feast of the day includes pork ginger stir-fry and pork bowl, chicken karaage and beef curry, roast beef, and hamburger. For seafood options, there is grilled mackerel and salmon, shrimp tempura, and sweet shrimp sashimi.

The main dish changes monthly? This month they had Suzuki sashimi and chicken, as well as chikuwa and pumpkin tempura. There was also a daily gratin and the classic roast beef. Chicken karaage and chicken nanban burger were also available. I stayed for two nights and the menu was almost the same. It might get a bit boring. The pork dish one day turned into motsu-ni the next day. I always feel satisfied with the breakfast. Thank you.

The other day, I attended a high school class reunion in Obihiro~. I graduated from Honbetsu High School in Tokachi, and we didn't change classes for 3 years in high school. It was quite a long time since the last high school class reunion for me, maybe I haven't attended one before. The event was held at "Premier Hotel Cabin Obihiro" located at 11-chome, Nishi 1-jo, Obihiro City. The venue was the "Restaurant Harel" on the 13th floor of the hotel. We even had our homeroom teacher who taught us for 3 years come from Sapporo. The event started with a toast from our teacher. The reunion was a buffet-style dinner with all-you-can-drink option for around 5,000 yen plus additional costs. The beer served was Sapporo Classic. Other drinks included shochu Chamisul, sweet potato shochu Sakurajima, wine, highball, sake, soft drinks, and more. Here are some of the dishes that were served: sashimi assortment, hot pot, chicken dish, roast beef, Jajangmyeon, salmon roe and scallop rice, and dessert. We were all so caught up in catching up with each other that we didn't eat much. The after-party was held at another location in the hotel, and it was great to see everyone again after a long time. I'm grateful to the classmates who organized the event. Hopefully, we can do it again in a few years. It was a delicious meal. Thank you~.

In recent years, my revisit rate to Obihiro has been increasing, and when staying in the city, I have two go-to hotels. One is Dormy Inn Obihiro, and the other is Hotel Paco Obihiro, now known as Premier Hotel CABIN Obihiro. Both are business hotels, but they have fantastic large baths with saunas and delicious breakfasts. I chose Dormy Inn half a year ago, so this time I decided on CABIN Obihiro. Check-in starts at 3 pm, but you can use the bath from 2 pm (previously 1 pm), which is a great service. This time, I had lunch at La Ribera, so I checked in after the scheduled time. The bath is located near Obihiro Station, yet you can enjoy the natural plant-based moor hot spring "Tokachi no Yu." On this day, Obihiro was experiencing the biggest cold wave of the century, with temperatures dropping below -10°C during the day, reaching -17°C by the time I went to the open-air bath. It was too cold to use the outdoor bath late at night, but the next morning was even colder at -19°C. Despite the freezing temperatures, I enjoyed the open-air moor hot spring as the sun shone into the bath. The indoor hot spring was also spacious and excellent. The sauna is a Finnish sauna (no self-loyly allowed!), with abundant use of wood on the walls, ceiling, and floor, creating an environment where you can focus on the sauna without distractions like a TV. The seat towel sheets are changed regularly, making it hygienic and reassuring to sit on them with your bare bottom. Fortunately (or unfortunately), I was in the sauna during the towel exchange time, but it was much better than having dirty sheets left unattended for a long time. Lastly, the meal was a hearty buffet from morning, with highlights such as roast beef from Hokkaido cows, pork bowl from Hokkaido pigs, fried chicken from Nakasatsunai Village young chickens, and more. The tofu made from soybeans from Tokachi was delicious, and even the scrambled eggs were good. The rice, which was milled in-house from Hokkaido-grown rice, was also tasty, so much so that I had seconds. The content has evolved further from the Hotel Paco era, emphasizing the uniqueness of Obihiro and contributing to breaking the mold of typical business hotel buffets. It can be used for an additional 1,200 yen even with a room-only plan. It's recommended to use it according to your needs.

This morning's breakfast was at the Premier Hotel Cabin Restaurant Harel, which I haven't been to in a while. I confirmed that even if you didn't stay the night before, you can still use the breakfast buffet. I've been here for dinner a few times before, but this was my first time for breakfast buffet. The breakfast buffet costs 1,200 yen and has a wide variety of dishes. My goal was to have the Ikura (salmon roe) bowl before the season ends. Since it was early in the morning, there were freshly made dishes available. I chose the Ikura bowl and pork bowl as my main dishes. I was very full. Thank you for the meal.

I have stayed here many times but have not written about it before. It's a relatively regular place for me in Obihiro. The reason is that there are bars nearby and facilities for business running. The breakfast includes sashimi, Obihiro's famous pork rice bowl, roast beef bowl, and even soup curry, among many other options. I particularly like the pudding here, which has an old-fashioned homemade feel to it. The rooms are not new but they have bedside outlets and a mall hot spring, which makes me very satisfied. I will definitely stay here again next year.

I stayed at a hotel for 2 nights with breakfast. It was a hotel in front of the station, very convenient for access. They had a large communal bath at the mall hot spring, with a sauna, cold water bath, and outdoor bath, which was a big plus. The breakfast here has always been delicious, even when I stayed in Asahikawa and Hakodate. On the first day, the waitress at the restaurant enthusiastically recommended Miyazaki's famous Chicken Nanban to me. It was like Chicken Nanban with tartar sauce on Hokkaido's specialty Zangi. It was surprisingly good. I also enjoyed the large-grain natto from Otofuke Town. For the final meal, I had Obihiro's specialty Pork Bowl with a warm egg topping. The sweet and richly flavored pork with the warm egg was fantastic. On the second day, I felt a bit sluggish from drinking too much "magic water" the night before. I had a light breakfast of smoothies, tomato juice, Hokkaido's rich milk, vegetable salad, and fruits. I finished with a bowl of squid and salmon roe with mountain wasabi soy sauce, keeping it light and refreshing. Oh, it was delicious. Both days had delicious breakfasts and a relaxing time at the large communal bath. I definitely want to stay here again.

I stayed in Obihiro for a business trip. There was a self-service ramen, pork bowl, and roast beef bowl available. There were many options and plenty of seating, so I was able to enjoy my meal without any stress. The hotel also has a wonderful hot spring where you can relax. The kushikatsu restaurant on the first floor is excellent. They have kushikatsu set meals even for those who don't drink alcohol. The tuna is also delicious.

I drank too much last night and could only eat salad, which was disappointing. I had over 2 liters of vinegar-based drinks, milk, cola, and Dakara! Next month, I'll make sure to eat properly! The breakfast buffet with delicious and diverse options in a competitive area is much appreciated!

July 2018. Day 2 of my trip to Hokkaido. In the morning, I left Asahikawa and made my way to Obihiro via Furano in the evening. First, I stopped by "Rokkatei Main Store" to buy souvenirs before heading to my accommodation for the day. I stayed at "PREMIER HOTEL CABIN Obihiro," which was a great choice due to its convenient location near the station, good breakfast, and the availability of a mall hot spring. My single room had a semi-double bed, which was very comfortable. After dropping off my luggage, I went to the natural hot spring bath "Tokachi no Yu" in the hotel, which was very nice. The hotel also had a restaurant, bar, and even an observation karaoke room, but I decided to have dinner outside (pork bowl) and went to bed early, regretting not visiting the bar. The next morning, I woke up early and headed to the breakfast venue on the top floor, "Restaurant Harel" (1200 yen for adults). The buffet offered a mix of Japanese and Western dishes using local Tokachi ingredients, including delicious scrambled eggs. Despite planning to save room for more food later in the day, I couldn't resist dishes like grilled salmon, Tokachi soybean tofu, and natto. The breakfast was delicious and satisfying. Overall, I had a great experience at the hotel with its hot spring, breakfast, room, and location. Thank you for a wonderful stay, even though it was short.

I woke up and went to the hotel's underground hot spring before coming to have breakfast. It was a buffet style, so I tried a little of everything. I had salt yakisoba, tantanmen, pork bowl, scrambled eggs, ham croquette, zangi, meatballs, miso soup, and katsugenka. It's been a while since I had katsugenka. I thought it was salt yakisoba but it turned out to be pasta. Haha. (2018.06) 3.3

[First Visit on April 25, 2018] This hotel has been rebranded as a Premier Hotel. Although the hotel itself is in an old building, the view from the bar on the 13th floor is quite impressive. Since there are not many tall buildings in Obihiro, you can see far and the mountains of Tokachi are very beautiful. This is my third stay at a Premier Hotel, following stays in Moji and Sapporo. The name "Cabin" suggests it is a business hotel. This hotel is known for having a mall hot spring on the basement floor and a bar on the 13th floor. The breakfast buffet at Hallelujah on the 13th floor is quite fulfilling, considering the price is only 1,200 yen. With affordable room rates, a mall hot spring, and the breakfast buffet, I believe this hotel offers more value than Dormy Inn nearby. I find this hotel more satisfying than the Hotel Nikko Obihiro in Obihiro. While there are other lovely hotels in Hokkaido, for business purposes, I recommend this Premier Hotel. The bus from Obihiro Airport also stops right in front of the hotel, which is convenient. The pork bowl and roast beef for breakfast were delicious. And the vegetables, being from Hokkaido, were also very tasty.

Located near the bustling area of Obihiro, just a few minutes' walk from JR Obihiro Station, this hotel offers great convenience. Plus, they have a natural hot spring bath! This time, I stayed at Bremia Hotel Cabin Obihiro. The breakfast is served at the top-floor restaurant, Harel, offering a familiar buffet style with a mix of Japanese and Western dishes. They had pork bowl, roast beef bowl, and even recommended garlic butter sautéed mussels. The karaage was surprisingly delicious too. I ate a variety of dishes and ended up feeling full. It was a comfortable stay overall.
