This is a report from Hokkaido (lol). I visited "Soba Niten" in Otofuke Town, which I was really curious about! I arrived around 11 am on a Saturday, just in time for the opening, and there were already a few customers waiting outside before the opening. The restaurant quickly filled up, and I had to wait by filling out a waiting sheet and waiting outside or in my car, so I recommend arriving early or at the opening time! There was parking available on the restaurant premises. The interior had counter seats and table seats, and it was quite spacious. For my first visit, I ordered the following: 'Zaru 2-color with beef hormone (small size 100 yen off) ¥1100' and 'Beef Toro Flake Rice (180g) ¥350'. The dishes arrived in about 10 minutes! Oh, the 2-color zaru soba with beef hormone dipping sauce looks incredibly delicious! The beef toro flake rice also looks great! The black and white 2-color soba had a great flavor and a fantastic texture, very delicious! The more you chew, the more sweetness you can taste, very tasty! But the highlight was the chewy "beef hormone" dipping sauce, incredibly delicious! It's a must-try for those who love hormone dishes! It's so delicious! Adding a few drops of chili oil for a spicy flavor change was also enjoyable and fantastic! It was great that both the soba sauce and the dipping sauce were included, allowing you to enjoy both. The beef toro flake rice, when eaten with wasabi soy sauce, just melts in your mouth! I even found myself finishing the soba broth because it was too delicious! (lol) I quickly and happily finished my meal! I especially loved the beef hormone dipping sauce! Highly recommended! The portion size was good, even with the small size soba, so the regular size should be enough for most people! By the time I left around 11:30 am, there were still people waiting and a continuous flow of customers coming in, showing how popular the place is! It was incredibly delicious! Thank you for the meal.

On 23/09/05, I had lunch at a restaurant in Otofuke Town and tried the "bukkake kitsune and tanuki (black) soba for 850 yen." I visited Otofuke Town for work. This is a favorite restaurant of my junior at work. It was raining heavily since the morning, so I wanted something refreshing, like cold soba. I ordered the bukkake soba with black soba noodles. It's rare to have both kitsune and tanuki toppings. I took a bite of the soba and it was delicious. The black soba noodles seemed to be ground from the actual soba grains, and the flavor of the soba was direct and tasty. The dipping sauce was rich in dashi flavor, which complemented the soba well. The kitsune and tanuki toppings were also tasty. I quickly finished the meal. I plan to revisit for warm soba when the weather gets a bit cooler.

Lunch on this day was at the highly recommended restaurant by DEEN's Ikemori, a soba legend. I arrived as soon as they opened, but it was already full in just 10 minutes. Amazing! This is also a restaurant that specializes in sea mist soba. The interior is a sophisticated space with white as the main color. I ordered the following: Sea mist soba with oysters (white) for 1150 yen, and eel rice for 480 yen with less rice. The soba is similar to country-style soba, and the white soba is called Sarashina. There was nori seaweed available on the table, a nice touch that turns the soba into zaru soba. When you see the oyster broth, it's clear and the taste is strong! The broth has a rich oyster flavor, and the oysters are plump and delicious. The soba itself, like Futaba, has a strong soba flavor. I wonder if the soba flavor is strong. The delicious soba paired with oysters was a treat. To add some stamina, I also ordered eel, which was delicious with a strong presence even though it was sliced. It was delicious. I discovered the amazing soba at Kaiki Soba in Oki-cho. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

The soba I had in Obihiro was the most delicious I've ever had. They also have a wide variety of donburi menu options. I couldn't distinguish the taste based on the color of the soba with my palate. However, the texture, smoothness, and compatibility with the sauce were outstandingly delicious. The beef toro flakes were incredibly melt-in-your-mouth delicious. It gets really crowded on weekends, so I'd like to visit again on a weekday.

This year, there have been many extremely hot days, so the restaurant is always crowded during lunchtime. The restaurant is usually closed on Sundays, but they will be taking a break for Obon this month, so be aware of that. My recommendation is the Zaru Soba with two types of noodles - white and black (900 yen). You can enjoy the smoothness of the white noodles and the strong flavor of the black noodles. The restaurant has a simple layout with a counter and small and large tables, making it easy to accommodate different group sizes. The parking lot may seem small at first glance, but there is actually a decent amount of space behind the restaurant towards the east side, so don't be discouraged if the front looks crowded.

This is delicious! It was my first time visiting. They are only open for lunch, so there is usually a line. The parking lot is quite spacious, so you don't have to wait too long. I like the firm texture of the soba noodles. They offer three types of soba: black, white, and limited edition tea. I ordered the black and white soba with extra toppings. The dipping sauce for the soba contains thinly sliced parent bird, tsukune (chicken meatballs), and chicken breast. Although the sauce looks light, it is rich and delicious! I regret not trying the other dishes on the menu because they all looked appetizing. I will definitely want to come back to this soba restaurant.

I had been curious about these two places, and I always saw them crowded on weekends. My impression is that I preferred Sobadokoro Takumi. This is just my personal opinion. However, I think it's delicious in general. In particular, I think the hormone soba is rare, so I think it's definitely worth trying.

I don't have a clear standard for talking about soba as I grew up eating Izushi soba, but it was interesting to be able to try two different types of soba. I still don't know how to differentiate between the dipping sauce and the broth, but it was fun to compare the flavors of the kashiwa. Maybe just doing a simple soba taste test would be a good idea.

I went to a stylish soba restaurant and had a great time. The interior was clean and had a nice atmosphere. They offered three types of soba - white, black, and green tea, which made it hard to choose. In the end, I had the mixed zaru soba with green tea soba and a bowl of beef toro flakes rice. The black soba had a strong aroma and a chewy texture, while the green tea soba had a subtle tea fragrance. Both were seriously delicious. The beef toro flakes rice was topped with wasabi soy sauce and was incredibly tasty. I couldn't stop eating and finished it all in one go. It was a satisfying meal. Thank you, I will definitely come back again. Laugh out loud.

This is a famous restaurant near Ne-goe. It was closed on Sundays, so I couldn't visit for a while, but I finally got to go back after a long time! This place is known for its beef hormone dishes, with their signature menu being the Silocoro Hormone soba, which is full of juicy fat. However, this time I tried their summer limited menu. The Bukkake Sudachi Kuro (1000 yen) is a soba with a strong flavor of countryside-style soba that you can tell just by picking it up with chopsticks! When you take a bite, you can enjoy the firm texture and aroma of the soba as expected! The powerful taste of the abundant sudachi does not lose to the acidity, leaving me in awe! It's delicious even on a rainy, chilly day, so I think it would be the perfect bowl for a hot summer day♪

I arrived at the restaurant around 12:30. It was busy because of Children's Day, but I was able to be seated in about 10 minutes. The soba had a wonderful aroma and the dipping broth was delicious. The popular beef toro bowl, when eaten with sauce and wasabi, was absolutely amazing. By the time I finished eating, it had sold out.

I went to the restaurant I was aiming for at lunchtime, but the parking lot was full, so I searched quickly and ended up coming here. Luckily, there was one parking space available, so I managed to park. When I entered, the restaurant was full, but there were customers finishing up, so I was asked to wait for a bit. It seems to be a popular place. I was seated after about 5 minutes. Since I didn't have any prior knowledge, I pointed to the menu item listed as the most popular, "Zaru Ni-shoku Kashiwa," and placed my order. It arrived in 7-8 minutes. It was two types of zaru soba... the black one was made with the shell included in the flour, and the white one was peeled before being served. The black one had a firm texture with a wild feel, while the white one had a smooth mouthfeel. While eating, I suddenly realized... "Wait? Where's the kashiwa (chicken)?" Looking at the receipt, it only said "Zaru Ni-shoku," nothing about chicken. I should have double-checked when I pointed. Well, it's a shame, but I enjoyed the soba, so it's all good. Thank you for the meal. As I was about to go to pay, I casually looked at the neighboring table separated by a wall and unexpectedly saw a high school classmate couple who I've known for a long time. What a coincidence to encounter them in a restaurant we both happened to visit!

It's been a while since I visited this restaurant. It's always very crowded here, so I went right when it opened on Saturday. You can choose from 3 colors of soba noodles, and since it was cold, I chose the warm white chicken soba. Customers kept coming in one after another, and before I knew it, the place was full and there was a line forming. My husband and I ate our soba silently. The chicken here is big breast meat, and there's probably pork in the tsukune as well, so there's a lot of meat. The chicken breast meat has a good chew, so you get pretty full. Since it's so crowded, let's finish up quickly. Crowded restaurants are usually very delicious, but it's a bit hectic, isn't it?

I passed by this restaurant many times without noticing it at all. The sign is not very eye-catching. Do they rely on word of mouth for business? A friend told me about a delicious soba restaurant, so I decided to try it out. It was lunchtime and I had to write my name down and wait. The interior had a clean and cafe-like feel, although the seating was more traditional soba shop style. After about a 10-minute wait, I was seated. The menu had options like white, black, and brown soba, perhaps different grinding methods? This popular soba restaurant had higher prices, so I expected it to be very delicious. I ordered the curry soba for 900 yen. The simplest soba dish is usually the cheapest, right? The regular kake soba was 700 yen. When the curry soba was served, it lacked volume and looked a bit plain. It had toppings like green onions and chicken. The curry aroma was appetizing. The soba was not like the cheap soba I usually eat. It had a proper soba flavor. The chicken was tender and had a good flavor. I could understand why this place is popular. I would like to visit this soba restaurant again, hopefully after winning the lottery so I can order whatever I want.

I visited this place after a long time, and the interior is still bright and beautiful as ever! They offer a variety of soba options, including white, black, and brown soba, as well as cold, hot, rice dishes, sets, and limited editions. Today, I tried the Sudachi Soba and Horumon Tsuke Soba. The Sudachi Soba was refreshing with plenty of sudachi, and it paired perfectly with the brown soba. The Horumon Tsuke Soba came with regular dipping sauce and two types of noodles, allowing you to enjoy it in four different ways. Adding chili oil made the elegant soba turn into a hearty dish! The soup was rich and just the way I like it.

Visited Soba Niten in Otofuke Town on March 15, 2021 at 11:05. The interior of the restaurant was very clean with only one group dining. Ordered the "Zaru Nisshoku" for ¥850 and the "Soboro Chicken Tempura Don" for ¥400. Surprisingly, the dishes arrived in just 5 minutes – so fast! Probably precooked the noodles. The dish consisted of half white and half black soba noodles. Started with the white soba without any toppings – it had a light soba aroma and a good texture, very delicious. Then tried the black soba without any toppings – it had a strong aroma and a bold flavor due to the thicker noodles. A companion ordered the green tea soba, which had a subtle matcha fragrance. Each noodle was dipped in the broth, which was sweet and easy to eat. The white soba paired best with the broth, enhancing the texture. The black soba retained its strong aroma even when dipped. Surprisingly, they use soba flour from Taiki Town, which was impressive. The Soboro Chicken Tempura Don was delicious, with tender chicken tempura in a sweet sauce. The tempura had a crispy yet moist texture, and the sauce was slightly heavy. Towards the end, the rice got a bit too saucy, so I had to adjust my eating technique. Overall, it was delicious, almost making me forget it was a soba restaurant. By the time I left, the restaurant was almost full of salarymen. Impressive! Will definitely come back for the beef hormone dish next time. Thank you for the meal! Closed on Sundays, open from 11:00 to 14:30 (last order at 14:15).

On December 26, 2020, I went to my favorite restaurant "Soba Niten" in Otofuke with the intention of supporting food and beverage businesses while being cautious. The location is along Kino Kitadori in Otofuke, just north of Mutsumi Amenity Park. The exterior of the restaurant is a two-story building with clean white and gray walls. Inside, there are single counter seats facing the wall, as well as tables for four. I ordered the Kaki Don (oyster rice bowl) and the Seafood Kakiage Don (seafood tempura rice bowl). The soba noodles are made from a blend of three types of stone-ground buckwheat flour and hand-cut. The black soba noodles have a strong texture and flavor, paired perfectly with the plump oysters. I will definitely come back to try the green tea soba next time. It was a delicious meal.

I visited the restaurant around lunchtime and it was full, so I had to write my name and car number on a reservation sheet at the entrance. They have a system where they call you to your car when a table is ready. The interior of the restaurant has a clean and modern look with white and wood tones. The most popular dish is the "Zaru Nishoku Kashiwa" for 1,050 yen (tax included). It consists of two types of soba noodles - black and white. The black soba is made by grinding the whole buckwheat grain with the skin on, including the husk, for added flavor. The white soba is made by grinding the peeled grain, which is rich in starch. The dish comes with two types of dipping sauces - cold soba dipping sauce and warm chicken dipping sauce. You can enjoy the soba noodles with your preferred combination of noodles and sauce. The white soba has a smooth texture, while the black soba has a firm texture and rich flavor. The warm chicken dipping sauce may look light, but it is quite flavorful as it contains chicken meat, meatballs, and chicken. The cold soba dipping sauce is lighter than the warm sauce, so I enjoyed it with plenty of soba dipping sauce on the white soba noodles.

This is "Soba Niten" in Otofuke-cho. It is located on the north side of Mutsumi Amenity Park in Kino Nishi-dori 13-1-5, Otofuke-cho, Hokkaido. The restaurant has a stylish exterior and a bright interior with white walls and wooden furniture. They offer three types of soba flour: black soba, white soba, and green tea soba. The most popular dish is the "Zaru Nishoku Kashiwa," which consists of a combination of black and white soba served with a dipping sauce containing three types of chicken meat, green onions, and burdock. The dipping sauce is clear but has a rich flavor thanks to the use of white soy sauce, and the taste of burdock is particularly good. This popular restaurant is frequented by customers one after another, and it lived up to expectations as a soba restaurant.

Today, I went to eat tea soba at Niten for the second time (^-^)/ I added a photo from last year as well. Niten is located along Kino Kitadori in Otomo, on the north side of Mutsumi Amenity Park. If you enter from the west side of the intersection near Low Cafe on the national highway, you'll see it on the left after crossing the bridge. The exterior is a clean, two-story building with white and gray walls. Inside, there is a clean wall-facing counter seat for one person, and a few empty 4-person table seats. It was 11:58 am. There were about 3-4 groups of customers already there, with a few more arriving later. I came for the tea soba, so I ordered the Zaru Nisshoku (tea soba and white soba) for 950 yen, added beef hormone soup for 350 yen, and a large serving for an additional 200 yen (all tax included). It arrived in about 8 minutes. The tea soba at Niten uses tea leaves from Chienka. Chienka's wife used to work at Niten, so this tea soba is a collaboration out of respect for her. Therefore, the tea soba at Niten and Chienka's tea soba are the same soba (^-^)/ The green of the tea soba next to the white soba looks especially beautiful. The aroma of tea and the strong texture of the soba make it very delicious. The white soba is also delicious with a good throat feel. The dipping sauce is strong in bonito flavor and slightly salty, just right when dipped halfway. The beef hormone soup is hot and a bit salty, but the addition of hormone animal broth makes it delicious. When it comes to Niten, you have to try the beef hormone soup. I will definitely come back to eat the tea soba again. Thank you for the meal m(__)m

This day was a rare day off that coincided with my father's, so we decided to go out and eat something delicious. We chose to go on a popular food tour to Tokachi. For lunch, we went to a soba restaurant that we had heard good things about. The place was trendy and crowded, with a variety of soba dishes to choose from. I had the refreshing cold soba with tempura, my father had the hormone soba which was rich in flavor, and my twins had their usual tempura soba. The soba noodles were smooth and had a good texture. I couldn't resist ordering the mini bowl of beef toro, and it was incredibly delicious. The beef toro was flavorful and aromatic, even though there was only a small amount on the rice. Overall, it was a great dining experience with interesting menu options. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
