No other choices were offered. The quiche, with asparagus and spring onions, had a crispy crust and a fluffy egg filling. The plain bagel was chewy and had a strong elasticity. Seasonal jams were also available. The salad was very fresh, and the homemade dressing was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

I ate baked sweets as a snack during overtime. The chestnut pound cake had a lot of chestnuts in it and was fluffy and delicious. The Cookie Diamant Vanilla and Cookie Diamant Black Tea had a buttery aroma and were crispy and tasty cookies. Tene-kun's cookies were thinner and crunchier than Diamant's. They were very cute and almost too cute to eat, but they were delicious. They are big and satisfying to eat. They also have eat-in options and cakes, so I would like to try those next time.

Last time I couldn't eat the soft serve ice cream because it was winter, but this time it's July, so I made sure to visit during the soft serve season. I bought the "Soft Serve Ice Cream Cone (349 yen)." There is a bench in front of the shop, so I sat there and enjoyed the soft serve ice cream. The soft serve ice cream from the cake shop is especially delicious! It was worth visiting again for my favorite soft serve ice cream.

Located near Teine Station, this patisserie has a cafe space attached. I visited twice last week and this week. It was a weekday evening. The takeaway customers were constant, but there weren't many people dining in, so I was able to relax by myself. The cafe space is not very large, so it might not be very comfortable when crowded. For dining in, you first pay at the counter and then move to the cafe space. I chose a Dekopon cake last time, and a strawberry tart this time. The homemade custard was rich and sweet, with the fruit adding a nice touch of acidity. The tart crust was made with Hokkaido butter and 100% wheat, and was thick and crispy. It paired perfectly with the rich custard. The combination of the tart and custard was so delicious that any fruit on top would taste good. The small size and strong sweetness made it feel like a French pastry, which I really liked. I would definitely stop by again if I'm in the area.

I finally had the chance to visit cake & cafe collet, a place I can stop by on my way back to Teine Station from my hospital visit every two months. The shop has a parking lot in front of it. This time, I bought the "Tamago no Machi Egg Pudding (306 yen)," the "Moist Gâteau Chocolat (350 yen)," and the "Crispy Choco Cookie Choux (339 yen)." I was torn between other options I wanted to try. The pudding was my favorite type of pudding, the gâteau chocolat was moist and delicious as its name suggests, and the choux cream was a chocolate-filled cookie choux that was amazing! I can't wait to try their soft serve ice cream next time!

【Non-smoking】A few minutes' walk from Teine Ward Office, there is a Western confectionery shop ^_^ They used to mainly sell cream puffs, cookies, and seasonal cakes made from additive-free ingredients with a gentle sweetness. After the renovation, they now focus on pies and have temporarily stopped selling cream puffs. Originally, this shop was the only one, but it seems that a new shop in Kuwon has become the main store. They also offer birthday cakes ^_^ The shop is located about 30 meters down the side street next to the yakiniku restaurant San Kyu.Visited again in the morning on November 25, 2020, along with my friend Laneju. This is the confectionery shop I have visited the most. Recently, I have been visiting a shop in Iwamizawa more often, but I used to enjoy buying cream puffs here on my way home from school and eating them while walking to Teine Station. It's been a while since I last visited because the shop is closed by the time I finish work. The staff are new, so they probably don't recognize me (laughs). The homemade fruit sauce here is delicious, and I usually prefer cakes with sauce. Considering the distance and time I had to walk afterwards, I opted for a round cake this time ^_^ The chocolate on the surface and the chocolate sauce inside had just the right balance of sweetness and bitterness, making for a happy time spent there ^_^

The interior is not very spacious, with a cafe area at the back. There is one four-person table, one two-person table, and a counter for about three people. A two-person table was available, so we sat there. My daughter had a strawberry parfait with tapioca, which was delicious with rich milk soft serve ice cream. I had a cake set with Earl Grey tea and the highlight, a chocolate pie. The chocolate pie was so delicious that I felt "happy!!" after just one bite. It was a truly satisfying cafe experience. My daughter also fell in love with the meringue sweets (Halloween version) they had in the store and bought them as souvenirs.

Cake shop exploration in Teine. All cakes are elaborate and on the pricey side. They are delicious but on the smaller side, so the price seems a bit high. However, the tart crust is by far the most delicious I've ever had! Is this shop strong in pie-type desserts? Looking forward to trying the apple pie and quiche. I visited Wikuday around 12:00. There was only one woman dining in, so I was lucky it wasn't crowded. There were constantly customers coming in to buy cakes. It seems like a popular place. I ordered the lunch set with quiche, bagel, and cake. It came with a drink and cost ¥1,540 (tax included). I chose the chocolate pie for the cake, which I believe is their signature item. The whipped cream was light and paired well with the chocolate, making it very delicious. The nuts added a nice touch. The size was small, but with the richness, I think it was the perfect size. I don't usually eat cake, but I wouldn't mind having this occasionally! The store is clean and they also offer quiche. It seems like a place where male customers can relax and use as a cafe. It's located in a hidden spot between a popular yakiniku restaurant and a condominium. It feels like finding a hidden gem!

The jams were Amaou strawberry, pineapple... I forgot the other one (haha). But all of them brought out the flavors of the ingredients. The cream cheese had a garlic flavor? Well, it tasted like it would go well with beer (haha). Now, the long-awaited quiche. The one with plenty of vegetables also had bacon, and was generously filled with broccoli, komatsuna, spinach, and more. The curry quiche had a nice curry flavor, with plenty of minced beef! The coffee was from Tokumitsu Coffee, and it was rich and flavorful. The staff were polite, the interior was clean and calming, so I plan to stop by again soon after visiting the hospital.

On a certain weekday, I had lunch at a nearby yakiniku restaurant and stumbled upon a cake shop with a cafe space that I haven't visited in a while. When I arrived, Madame's cafe time seemed enjoyable. I couldn't resist the temptation and ended up ordering the "Strawberry Sundae (507 yen)" instead of soft serve. With the first bite... Wow! It's delicious! The smooth texture is amazing, not overly sweet but has a rich milkiness with a touch of sweetness. The strawberry jam bits and jelly-like substance add a convincing touch, making it a delightful treat. At the bottom, there's cotton candy and small pieces of sponge cake that complement the milk-flavored soft serve perfectly. It was an unexpected stop, but definitely worth it. I visited the shop on a Sunday before 3 pm. It is located in a residential area in Teine. There were 2 customers in the cafe space and 1 person who came to pick up a cake. The shop is compact in size, with the cafe space in the back. In 2012, there was a review mentioning it as a "cake shop with delicious cream puffs," but I couldn't see any cream puffs in the small showcase. The layout of the shop seems to have changed since then, and they have been making adjustments to reach where they are today. There are many sweets shops around Teine, so surviving there must be tough. Aso-grown chestnut Mont Blanc - 537 yen: The chestnut paste made only with chestnuts and sugar allows you to taste the chestnut flavor directly, with a smooth texture without stickiness or lumps. The whipped cream is mildly sweet but rich. The hazelnut dacquoise at the bottom adds a nice texture. It was interesting to have berry (cassis) jam in the Mont Blanc, but I wish the acidity of the cassis jam was stronger to balance out the sweetness of the dacquoise. Limited edition Mont Blancs at other shops are usually priced higher than the regular lineup. Is it because of the chestnut prices? It may be their commitment, but once it goes over 500 yen per piece, it's hard to justify it just based on taste. Fresh chocolate pie - 440 yen: The cream on top, made with Nissho cream, has a strong flavor and a refreshing aftertaste. The French chocolate used in the fresh chocolate is rich and sweet. Personally, I think it would be better if they reduced the sweetness a bit for better balance. There are three types of nuts in the fresh chocolate, adding a great texture. It may be a bit messy, but I recommend grabbing it with your hands and taking a bite. Because I want you to experience the combination of fresh chocolate, cream, and pie crust all at once in your mouth. It may be easier for some with a fork, but I found it a bit challenging. A pie and tart specialty shop located just outside of Teine Station. It's a bit hidden on a side street, so you might miss it. The shop is small with limited seating, but it wasn't too crowded in the evening, so we were able to get in easily. There were so many tempting pies to choose from, but I decided on the popular "Fresh Chocolate Pie" and ordered it with a cup of tea. The pies were beautifully presented and the tea came in a cute pot with a lovely tea cozy! And all of this for under 1000 yen - such a great deal! The pie had fluffy cream and a crispy crust, while the fresh chocolate was moist and just the right amount of sweetness. I was so impressed by how delicious the pie was, it had been a while since I had something that good. The cafe space was also stylish and had a relaxed atmosphere. While we were leisurely enjoying our time, there were customers coming in for takeout one after another. I definitely want to visit this place again.
