I always find it difficult to look for a restaurant around here for lunch, so today I decided to quickly grab a meal along the national highway. I ordered miso ramen, gyoza, and pork bowl, which seemed to be the recommended dishes. The ramen was quite average, nothing special, but the thick slices of chashu might please chashu lovers. I didn't have high expectations for the gyoza, so I found it surprisingly tasty, but overall it was just average. The pork bowl had a nice crispy aroma and was not bad. There are many ramen shops around, so I may not come here specifically for this place, but if I need a quick meal, I would consider stopping by again.

Last night, while browsing through Tabelog (a restaurant review website)… I happened to come across this ramen shop that uses brand-name pork for their pork bowl. They also offer a full-size pork bowl, so I decided to visit for lunch today. To avoid the crowds and the impending rain, I wanted to return before it started raining, so I headed there around opening time. I arrived at the restaurant around 11:05 AM, and there were already a few cars parked in the lot. Inside, there were about 5 groups of customers seated. I was seated at the counter and looked at the menu. They have a menu specifically for pork bowls, using a local Hokkaido brand pork called "Yume no Daichi." I decided to order the higher-priced pork bowl called "Fuwadori Pork Bowl." For some reason, the staff asked me if I wanted ramen as well, which was a bit odd. The dish was ready in about 10 minutes. When it was placed in front of me, I was surprised by its size. It was smaller than I expected. It seems that despite being a full-size bowl, it was more like a side menu item for ramen. It didn't come with miso soup or pickles. I felt like I made a mistake in ordering. The rice was average, cooked well. The sauce was a bit lacking and didn't soak into the rice much. The pork had some burnt parts, maybe grilled over charcoal? It seemed a bit thinner than in the menu photo. In terms of texture, it was noticeably tougher than pork from other places. It also lacked juiciness. After finishing the meal, I didn't feel very full. It probably had more rice than a regular pork bowl. Unfortunately, it didn't seem like something you should order as a standalone dish. Also, the bowl size was a bit small compared to the size of the pork, making it a bit difficult to eat.

This ramen shop is my favorite! I often order miso ramen, which is my favorite. The yellow curly noodles and rich soup match perfectly and are very delicious. The restaurant has both table and counter seats, and I think the turnover rate is good. The staff are friendly, and I feel like going back again.

I visited the restaurant around 11:30 am on a regular day, and there were no customers at first, but then more and more people started coming in. It seems to be a popular place. Since it was my first visit, I ordered the basic rich miso ramen for 950 yen. It arrived in about 5 minutes, and the white leeks stood out. When I lifted the noodles from the bottom, I found Sapporo-style curly egg noodles that were slightly transparent and yellowish, with a strong texture. I remember this kind of noodles being typical of Sapporo ramen since I was a child. The noodles not only have a good chewy texture but also a delicious taste. The miso soup was smooth and flavorful, which I think is also a typical Sapporo miso flavor. It was a bit unusual to have white leeks and wood ear mushrooms on top. While bean sprouts are common in Sapporo miso ramen, having white leeks on top is not typical for a regular miso ramen. Wood ear mushrooms are often found in Hakata ramen, but I believe they are less common in Sapporo ramen. I would like to try it at the main store next time.

The parking lot is always crowded, but when I passed by around 2 o'clock, there were only a few cars parked so I decided to go in. I was curious about the large pork bowl sign. I had the Wind Pork Bowl with extra meat and extra rice. The pork is carefully cooked. It was thinner and chewier than I expected, with a nice firm texture. I've only been eating tender meat lately, so I really enjoyed it. The sauce is a bit runny and doesn't stick well to the pork, which is a shame. It was quite filling due to the generous portion. The pork bowl costs 700 yen, extra meat is 250 yen, and extra rice is 150 yen, so the total was 1,050 yen, which is good value for money.

I had some errands in Teine and heard good things about this place for lunch. They offer a set with pork bowl, which was really authentic with two slices of pork. I couldn't decide between miso or soy sauce, but I was intrigued by the word "black" so I chose soy sauce. It wasn't as salty as it looked and tasted delicious. The chashu was tender, and there was also chicken chashu. Looking around, I noticed that many people were ordering miso with ginger, so I should have tried that instead.

I ordered the Set Menu 2 at Menya Yukikaze in Teine, which includes Miso Ginger Ramen and a small Snow Pork Bowl (2 slices) for 1,200 yen. I also added a seasoned egg for an extra 150 yen. The Teine branch of this popular restaurant is less crowded compared to the one in Susukino, with only a few customers present when I visited on a weekday around 1 pm. I tried the Ginger Miso Ramen, which had a strong ginger flavor, and the accompanying Snow Pork Bowl was flavorful and satisfying. The ramen was good, but not as impressive as the one I had at the Susukino branch. I might visit the Susukino branch again to try their other ramen options. Overall, it was a decent meal.

When it comes to Hokkaido, miso ramen is a must-try, so I ordered the Snow Wind miso ramen. It has two types of melt-in-your-mouth chashu and a perfectly balanced miso flavor that isn't too overpowering. The addition of wood ear mushrooms in the ramen adds a nice texture. The generous amount of green onions on top is a great touch.

I had a rich miso ramen. The miso flavor was strong and delicious, but it seemed less rich compared to the stores in Susukino. The medium-thick curly noodles and the chashu were delicious. It may have been just a coincidence, but when I went at 6 pm, the lights on the signboard were off, and there was no "welcome" sign, making it feel like the store was closed.

I left work early to go to the hospital with my mother... It took 4 hours to get her medication... I'm exhausted... My mother is hungry and won't stop complaining, so I brought her to Ramen Restaurant Fuyuki! I ordered the same thing as last time, the spicy miso ramen (extra large)... It arrived in about 7 minutes! It's still as spicy as before! It brings back memories from when I came in October... It's flavorful and spicy! My mother had the chicken and salt ramen, which she enjoyed... It's all good... I have to wake up at 5 am tomorrow, so I'll just take a bath and go to bed... Maybe just one can of beer? Cheers!

It's been a while since my last visit. I arrived at 5 pm because I couldn't make it for lunch. I ordered the rich miso ramen and rice, and it arrived in about 10 minutes. However, I was surprised when I saw the rice - it was so small! I thought for a moment that they had brought me a small rice by mistake because it was served in such a tiny bowl. (Is it too expensive for this small portion?) Perhaps due to the current situation, prices have gone up, as the ramen was also 100 yen more expensive than before. The ramen was delicious, but overall I felt a bit disappointed in various aspects.

I ordered the spicy miso ramen (extra spicy) at Fuusetsu because I was feeling a bit hungover. It arrived in about 5 minutes. The soup was thick and rich, and although it was spicy, it didn't make me choke. The ramen had a large slice of chashu and a small piece of chashu, as well as plenty of menma. The chashu was tender and juicy. I finished the entire bowl of spicy soup. After ordering, I realized they had a set menu with a special mini chashu rice bowl, which I would have liked to try. I regret not doing more research before going.

I had pork bowl, miso ramen, and seafood ramen. The pork bowl was amazing, with a perfect balance of charcoal flavor and sweet sauce that made it incredibly delicious! Definitely going back for more. The miso ramen had a thick soup with a light pork bone flavor, which paired well with the noodles. It wasn't as heavy as I expected, so it was easy to eat. The seafood ramen had a strong seafood flavor, completely different from the miso ramen, and it was really good! I definitely want to go back to this restaurant again.

Today's lunch was at Menya Yukikaze Teine branch. As expected, the place was crowded with families during lunchtime due to the ongoing Obon holiday. I decided to try the Ginger Miso Ramen today, after having the rich Miso Ramen at the Susukino branch the other day. It was served in about 7-8 minutes after ordering. The aroma of ginger was really nice. The soup also had a strong ginger flavor which was delicious. I felt that the miso in this Ginger Miso Ramen was richer compared to the one I had before. Personally, I prefer the Ginger Miso Ramen. The tender slices of chashu soaked up the ginger miso soup's flavor nicely. This Ginger Miso Ramen might become addictive for me.

I went to Sapporo for work. The restaurant I planned to visit in Otaru was temporarily closed, so I went to Yukikaze the next day! It was just past 2pm and the restaurant was almost full, but there was no line. Was I lucky? I decided to order the rich miso ramen, which was the top recommendation on the menu. It arrived in just over 10 minutes. First, I tried the soup... It had a subtle seafood aroma. The second sip revealed the strength of the pork bone flavor. Towards the end, the mild richness of the chicken broth became prominent, creating a complex and rich harmony of flavors. The miso sauce was blended perfectly as well! Furthermore, the garlic chips on top of the carefully prepared white leeks added a fragrant touch to the soup, enhancing the umami. The noodles were firm egg noodles, which are a perfect match for miso ramen, and they were cooked perfectly! It was a bowl that I finished to the last drop! However, it may not be incredibly delicious in terms of impact, but it left an impression of being a highly refined bowl of ramen.

"Hard", "Rich", "Warm" Snow Wind after 5 years? Still lukewarm... The noodles are so hard they might stand up on their own (><) Why is that?! Even though it's a popular shop, all the comments are negative. I'm sorry. There wasn't even a line today. Is it because it's lukewarm that the turnover is fast? Rich Miso Ramen 950 yen, Snow Wind Black Soy Sauce Ramen 950 yen. Prices have gone up.

Visited for the Snow Black soy sauce ramen and pork bowl. Ordered the Snow Black soy sauce ramen for 850 yen and a medium-sized pork bowl for 450 yen. Despite its black appearance, the ramen wasn't as salty as expected. The soy sauce flavor was present in the soup, which I liked, but there was something added for umami that felt like a slight off-flavor to me. I can't quite put my finger on it. I do like the yellow noodles and the addition of wood ear mushrooms in the toppings, so overall, I almost liked it. The pork in the bowl was a bit tough, and as someone from Tokachi, I prefer the sweet and savory taste of Tokachi pork bowls. It would be better if the pork bowl had more of that sauce coating the meat. Sorry for rambling, but I wish they could make their ramen even more delicious here! Thank you for the meal.

Ebi Shio Kudon Noodle (Half Size) 800 yen Located along the Handei Kaido road, this well-known ramen shop is a must-visit with its inevitable long lines. This branch in Teine is different - no waiting necessary (^^)b I was in the mood for Sapporo-style curly noodles, but ended up trying their new product, "Ebi Shio Kudon Noodle." The aroma was delightful, with a subtle sweetness from the chicken broth and a strong yet elegant shrimp oil flavor. The straight, thin noodles had a firm texture, and the two cloud ear mushrooms were delicious. The low-temperature cooked chashu was incredibly tasty, tender, and fresh green onions and mitsuba added a nice touch. The brown ingredient, was it dried squid? It enhanced the umami flavor even more. The half-size portion was 100 yen off, just enough to satisfy my hunger. Thank you for the meal (^ω^)

Before this restaurant opened, I was a big fan of a delicious Western-style restaurant that used to be here. I was shocked when the Western-style restaurant closed down, and although I was curious about this new restaurant, I didn't have the energy to visit. I finally decided to visit because I had some business at Teine Station. I have been to the restaurant in Susukino a few times, so I expected a similar experience. I ordered the Ginger Miso Ramen. The restaurant was not crowded, but it took a bit of time for the ramen to arrive. The noodles were a bit clumped together... perhaps they were overcooked? It was a bit disappointing. The soup had a nice refreshing ginger flavor, but it was a bit too salty. It was a different kind of ramen compared to the one in Susukino.
