I had heard that Hokkaido is known for delicious fish, but honestly, I hadn't come across such amazing fish until now. However, this place I randomly stopped by turned out to be pretty good. When I visited, it was a bit unclear if they were open for business, but it seemed to be a takeout specialty store. I ordered the "jou-nama" sushi and waited in my car as recommended. I usually start with sweet shrimp, and if it's good, the rest will be too. And indeed, this shop was no exception - it was delicious. The size and flavor of the vinegared rice complemented the fish perfectly. Looking back, since coming to Hokkaido, this shop has been the only place where I've truly enjoyed the fish.
