I went to a year-end party with my friends at a restaurant in Sapporo, away from the city center this time. It was my first visit since the restaurant changed. I don't remember exactly what I ate because I left the food order to others, but I do remember that the potato salad and miso soup were delicious. I also have a photo of pickled fish and grilled chicken, but I don't remember eating them because we were busy drinking and chatting as usual. In the end, we had sake. I had a Junmai sake called "Akishika" which was a refreshing dry sake that I enjoyed. It was my second time trying Akishika, and this time it was a fresh sake, which I liked. I also tried a Junmai Ginjo sake called "Fuso Tsuru," which was also dry but had a smoky taste that I found a bit challenging. However, I still drank it. The owner and his wife were very nice, and next time I will come alone to enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for the meal!

March 2021, stumbled upon a new restaurant in the nostalgic food alley connected directly to JR Shin-Sapporo Station. It's a small place with only a counter, perfect for a quick drink before heading home. I remember the name of this place from a comedy show, wonder what they're up to now. Happened to pass by during their grand opening, and beer was half price! Couldn't resist trying it out. The classic beer for 230 yen tasted great! The server was in good condition, too. The appetizer was 500 yen, either rapeseed blossoms with whitebait or squid with early-harvested rapeseed. Both dishes were well-seasoned with fresh ingredients. The food menu is small but carefully selected. Handwritten menu, perhaps changes daily based on ingredients. Tried the sakura shrimp and green onion dashimaki for 580 yen, with a gentle dashi flavor and a hint of yuzu on top. Grated daikon and sakura shrimp added a nice touch. The portion was just right for one person, and the clear pricing made it easy to enjoy the meal without worries. Thank you for the meal!
