There are several bento shop chains in Sapporo. I think it used to be called Ben***s, but the menu is almost the same as Ben***s. The zangi is delicious. On this day, I had the Big Ginger Pork Bento. It comes with ginger pork, shrimp fry, egg, croquette, wiener, potato, potato salad, and salad for 680 yen. The taste is satisfying and the portion is generous, so I think it's good value for money. It's fast, cheap, and delicious.

I stopped by on my way back from Honoka. I didn't feel like having a meal, so I chose from the side dishes, but later realized that most bento boxes also have side dishes included, so I made a big mistake. Oh well, we all have those days, right? The bento boxes all have food samples displayed, making it easy to choose. I ordered by giving them the number. The food was freshly fried and handed to me. When I got home and tasted it, I was pleasantly surprised! It was delicious! I had imagined it to be like a typical bento shop, so I didn't have high expectations for the taste, but I was amazed! The Spicy zangi had a hint of curry flavor, which was just right for someone who isn't a fan of curry but can handle some spice. The flavor was rich, crispy, and delicious. It was probably even juicier if I had eaten it right away. The seasoning was delicious! The green bean sesame salad had a slightly sweet flavor, which I liked. Delicious! The burdock salad had a homey flavor, which I also enjoyed. (It also comes with Caesar dressing) The cream croquette, even though it had no filling, was surprisingly tasty. Maybe because I was really hungry afterwards? No, I had it the next day after it had cooled down, and it was still delicious. The seasoning was just right. It was tastier than a regular chain bento shop. I underestimated it. I don't have many opportunities to go here, but I would like to stop by again when I visit Handa Honoka. Thank you for the meal!

I stopped by Sapporo Bento Factory Nishi store to buy lunch. They have a parking lot in front of the shop. I bought the "Kushi Zangi Bento (soy sauce)" for 550 yen. It's Zangi (I don't know why it's on a skewer though). It's not fried chicken! I still don't know the difference between Zangi and fried chicken, but it's my favorite. It tasted really good and I enjoyed it. The portion size was good, the cost performance was great, and the soy sauce flavor was irresistibly delicious. I'm satisfied.

I love Zangi! I finally tried the Zangi flag that caught my eye before. Let's go to Bentos!! Wait, this isn't Bentos! It's Sapporo Bento Koubou! I didn't notice even though I live nearby! So, I'll report that the store name is different! It's now Sapporo Bento Koubou Nishi Store instead of Bentos Miyanosawa Store. Anyway, I'll try the Spicy Zangi L for 580 yen. I only ordered Zangi because I'm on a low-carb diet and won't eat white rice. The Zangi is spicy with a curry flavor, perfect for drinking or as a side dish. It's quite filling and I like it. Next, I'll try the Soy Sauce Zangi!

Welcome! I remember going to the newly opened store in the lineup of West Yuu Miyanosawa store when I got off at Miyanosawa station on the subway in August 2015 in Nishi Ward. There is a glass case with a daily menu and sample photos displayed. Despite it being night, there were quite a few customers. The Mega Ginger Pork Bowl is heavy and visually appealing with a crispy fried egg on top. The ginger has a light flavor, the pork is firm and sweet and salty, and the egg yolk adds a mellow richness to the strong taste. The texture around it is also excellent. The lightly soaked sauce enhances the flavor, and the rice itself has a sweetness. There are two fried items - crispy fried shrimp and skillfully fried croquette with a crispy coating. The oil is drained well, and the coating is enjoyable. The cabbage with Caesar dressing could use a bit more vegetables. The potato salad with a touch of orange color is satisfying. I realized later that the Noriben here is luxurious. I think I should try it once. Thank you for the meal.

Sapporo, Nishi Ward. A takeout bento shop near the Subway Tozai Line, "Miyanosawa" Station ☆ (Parking available in front of the store) "BENTOSS Miyanosawa Branch" A bento shop operated by Aichi Foods, with over 15 branches in Sapporo under the name "BENTOSS". The store is quite spacious, with life-size samples and photos of bento boxes in the showcase. When I visited, there weren't many customers, so I could leisurely choose. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which was nice. When I visited, the recommended items were the Beef Tongue Bento and Furano Steak Bento, but there were also a variety of "mega-sized" options available. I was drawn to the "Balanced Bento" with brown rice. The Brown Rice Balanced Bento priced at 520 yen included stir-fried pork, grilled salmon, sweet potato tempura, rolled omelette, spinach and carrot salad, and pickled radish. The flavors were milder than I expected, making it easy to eat. The portion size was just right. On another visit, I tried the Cod Roe Seaweed Bento priced at 420 yen, which came with mentaiko seaweed instead of regular seaweed. It included fish cake tempura, white fish fry, shredded cabbage, and simmered dried radish. The side dishes were ordinary, but the mentaiko lacked flavor, so it might have been better to stick with a regular seaweed bento. However, the fact that the rice and side dishes were separate was a nice touch.

Bentos is a local bento chain with around 30 stores in Hokkaido. I visited the Bentos Miyanozawa store right after lunch on a weekday. The store is located in the Miyanozawa area of Sapporo's Nishi Ward, near Miyanozawa subway station. You can check the exact location on Tabelog. I visited around 3 pm on a weekend. I parked my car in the parking space in front of the store. There were no customers in front or behind me. The store specializes in take-out bento boxes and does not have any pre-made boxes. After some hesitation, I ordered the limited-time "Crab Rice Bento (Tempura)" and added a "Miso Soup" on the side. I waited inside the store for the bento to be prepared. It was ready in about 5-6 minutes. I had it for dinner. The Crab Rice Bento (Tempura) weighed 362g. It had crab rice seasoned with soy sauce base, topped with chunks of crab meat and a little bit of snow crab. It tasted pretty good. The tempura included 2 shrimp tempura, 3 green beans, and 1 slice of sweet potato with a little bit of sauce drizzled on top. The Miso Soup weighed 282g and had pork, potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, onions, leeks, daikon radish, konjac, and burdock. The miso soup was slightly sweet and had a good flavor from the ingredients. It came with a piece of red chili. The Crab Rice Bento (Tempura) was better than expected, especially the crab rice. Despite being a bit smaller at 362g, it was easy to eat and enjoyable. The 2 shrimp tempura were a nice addition. The Miso Soup was slightly more expensive than other places, but I personally preferred the taste here. The lack of pre-made boxes provided a sense of security, even if it took a bit longer. I'm already thinking about which bento to try next time. It was delicious, thank you for the meal.

The workplace was close by, so I used to visit about twice a week. The menu is very extensive. Everything is delicious and cheap. I often ordered the daily special bento. It's a great deal at 500 yen with a good amount of food. You can enjoy a different flavor every day. When I asked for "eco" without chopsticks or a bag, I got a 30 yen discount. Also, they offer delivery for 2 items or more (I think) in the neighborhood, so I could order by phone and have it delivered at a specific time, which I thought was a great service. Even when ordering in-store, the wait time wasn't too long. The interior is clean and there's a TV, so it's not unpleasant. However, the service from the female staff members was very poor. They lacked friendliness and didn't show any appreciation when taking orders over the phone or in person. It was quite off-putting. Despite the good taste, price, and service, the lack of hospitality was a shame.

Between exits 4 and 5 of Miyamasawa Station in the underground subway, there is a bento shop. In my memory, it was just recently a bento shop. The current store color scheme also seems to be the same as the bento shop, but maybe it's different? I bought dinner. Just like with bento, it's a bit pricey. But in return, it's healthy and delicious. I had the Grilled Salted Atka Mackerel Bento (740 yen). Fish is always expensive, right? You order by number. You can't see the kitchen because there are so many menu items. I didn't have to wait long before getting my takeout. In terms of cost-effectiveness and taste, I think Hoka Hoka Tei, or is it called Hotto Motto now, is the best. But I think the taste is better here. The portion size is a bit small. Sometimes, it's exciting to have a bento for lunch. Wait, this is only 500 yen? I visited this place for the first time since it changed, and it was a while ago. This is around the Miyanosawa station. My second daughter and I had lunch together. Since we had tutoring, we didn't have much time, so we decided to have bento for lunch. I had a flyer from a bento shop at home, so I had already asked my daughter what bento she wanted to eat. It had been a while since I went to a bento shop, but it seems like many people are using it. I didn't think it would be so crowded with everyone buying in bulk. My daughter chose the Wine Steak Bento for 780 yen including tax, and I chose the Cheese Hamburger & Omelette Rice Bento for 690 yen including tax. We brought them home and hurried to eat. The first thing my daughter said was, "Oh, it looks quite different from the photo." Indeed, in the photo, the meat is neatly arranged and the rice is barely visible. It's not a big enough difference to complain to JARO, so we just laughed it off. I thought my daughter, being a light eater, would leave about a third of it, and as expected, she left it and gave it to me. The taste was not bad, it was a decent bento. The meat was tender! The Cheese Hamburger in my bento was well done for a bento, with a juicy hamburger that goes well with demi-glace sauce. However, the spaghetti underneath had no flavor, which was disappointing. I wish it had been mixed with ketchup at least. The Omelette Rice was delicious with just the right amount of ketchup, but I wished it had more ingredients. Overall, it was a satisfying bento.
