Osaka-style okonomiyaki can be enjoyed starting from 500 yen, while Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki starts from 600 yen at this affordable okonomiyaki restaurant. They also offer yakisoba, fried rice, french fries, and ice cream! You can choose the size for yakisoba and fried rice, with options for jumbo or mini. The french fries and ice cream can be ordered in 4x or 5x portions, making it great for large groups. The french fries are also very cheap, even for the 4x portion at 800 yen (regular is 200 yen). It's convenient because they cook it for you, so it's easy. Even though it was close to closing time, they kindly let us in. Appreciate it! They have various toppings like sauce and pickled ginger for you to customize your dish. The Osaka-style okonomiyaki "Buta Tamago" had a lot of cabbage, with large pieces of cabbage. It felt like a cabbage pancake with the cabbage connecting everything together. You can enjoy plenty of vegetables. The jumbo yakisoba was enough for two people and had a taste similar to the Otafuku brand. It had a rich flavor and was delicious. Overall, the seasoning was on the salty side. Thank you for the meal!

There is a shop sandwiched between an udon shop and a taiyaki shop. I entered around lunchtime. They were showing a news variety show on TV. I ordered the Hiroshima-style pork okonomiyaki. They gave me a complimentary soft drink. I chose oolong tea. A young man is running the shop alone. He is handsome and has a sharp look. He cooks efficiently. Many okonomiyaki shops require customers to cook themselves, but I can't do it (laughs), so I appreciate when the staff does it for me. This lively atmosphere can be experienced in both Kansai and Hiroshima. I think they use Otafuku sauce, which is delicious. The noodles inside the okonomiyaki are also good, and the cabbage is very tasty with a gentle flavor. Having okonomiyaki in the snow of Hokkaido is a memory I want to keep. I am grateful for the refreshing staff. Thank you for the meal.

Plancha, a newly opened okonomiyaki restaurant on October 20th, offers two types of okonomiyaki - Osaka style and Hiroshima style with a price difference of 100 yen. The Hiroshima style includes yakisoba and costs 100 yen more. Both options come with a soft drink if dining in. Takeout is also available without the drink. Prices include Butatama (Osaka style) for 500 yen, Hiroshima style for 600 yen, Ikayaki and Cheese Okonomiyaki for 600 yen each, and Mochi Cheese for 700 yen. Side menu items include yakisoba for 300 yen, fried rice for 300 yen (limited quantity), ice cream for 200 yen, and french fries for 200 yen. If ordered separately, a soft drink costs 200 yen with options like 100% apple juice, 100% orange juice, oolong tea, Coca-Cola, Mitsuya Cider, Fanta Grape, iced coffee, iced tea, and hot coffee. The restaurant has a self-service water server with delicious water from Higashikawa. The famous Okonomi sauce from Hiroshima is used here. The reviewer ordered the Butatama Hiroshima style and enjoyed the generous portion and well-cut cabbage. The yakisoba flavor complemented the sauce well. The reviewer also mentions trying the oyster version next time. The additional Okonomi sauce and pickled ginger are available on the table. The reviewer praises the delicate and delicious taste of the okonomiyaki. The owner, Kenya Ueno, is a local from Higashikawa and a wrestler at the amateur Asahikawa Pro Wrestling APW. The restaurant closes at 6 pm, possibly for wrestling practice later. The restaurant is closed on Thursdays. The reviewer apologizes for visiting close to closing time and plans to return with friends. The review ends with a thank you and a promise to come back soon, along with a mention of attending a wrestling match.

I visited the newly opened okonomiyaki restaurant in Higashikawa. I ordered the Kansai-style okonomiyaki with cheese. It was delicious, just like the ones I had in Kansai, with plenty of cabbage and cheese perfectly mixed in. I was surprised that it came with a drink as a service, and all for only 600 yen. I will definitely visit again.
