It's a bento shop. When my family went to buy lunch boxes, we received a flyer saying that they only open as an izakaya on Fridays and Saturdays. My partner and I decided to visit for dinner.
- Deep-fried skewers: tofu (140 yen), mochi (140 yen), cheese (180 yen), shishito peppers (110 yen)
- Salt ramen: 600 yen
- 5 pieces of fried chicken: 350 yen
- Rolled omelette: 380 yen
- Rice ball (salmon): 250 yen
- Vanilla ice cream with maple syrup: 350 yen
- All-you-can-drink soft drinks for 60 minutes: 800 yen (self-service)
Prices do not include tax. The all-you-can-drink option with alcohol is 1,000 yen for 60 minutes or 1,350 yen for 90 minutes, including appetizers.
There are refrigerators and a kitchen-style bar nearby, making it feel like home. I haven't been here in a while, and I noticed they changed from tables to sofas, which was nice. We were allowed to sit here while waiting for our bento boxes to be prepared.
The sofa seats have partitions, creating a cozy atmosphere. My companion seemed unsure about how to order, but another customer kindly helped them out. The food exceeded my expectations, tasting better and being more affordable than other izakayas in the area. The appetizer was pasta, the ramen had chewy noodles, the fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, and the rolled omelette was delicious. I also enjoyed the skewers with sauce and ponzu.
The staff, consisting of two men and one woman, seemed busy but were friendly. My companion enjoyed the experience and even started planning a small year-end party there, discussing appetizers with the staff. Overall, it was a delightful meal.

I used it for lunch. This time, I had the monthly menu Bolognese bowl. It comes with a small salad for 500 yen. The Bolognese sauce has a rich flavor and goes well with the rice. I finished it in no time. The salad is small, but considering the price, I am satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I used it for lunch. They offer eat-in options, but I mainly use their delivery service. You can enjoy delicious bento boxes here for around 500 yen. They have regular menu items as well as weekly specials. The photo shows this week's lunch bowl, the Chicken Katsu Three-color Bowl. It includes Chicken Katsu with meat sauce, egg, and shredded cabbage. It was quite filling and priced at 500 yen including tax, so I was satisfied. Thank you for the meal.

The small bento shop in town is a lifesaver when you don't feel like cooking today. They offer delicious and affordable meals with generous portions. I recommend making a phone reservation in advance. The menu includes options like highball fried rice bento for ¥620, white fish marinated in vinegar bento for ¥620, and kimchi fried rice bento for ¥680. They also have a variety of curries and rice bowl dishes. The most popular item is the kimchi fried rice bento, but I recommend trying the white fish marinated in vinegar for a light and fluffy option on days when you don't feel like eating meat. The white rice is also very tasty!

It seems that they used to have a dining area before, but now they are only offering takeout. Delivery is available for orders over 1500 yen. You can change the Zangi in the Kimkara bento to tonkatsu for 780 yen, or choose the pork chop for 580 yen. The Kimchi fried rice is frozen but tastes rich and spicy, with a generous portion that is sure to be popular with men. The tonkatsu is fine as it is, but you might want to try the pork chop with a curry-flavored ketchup sauce. Both options come with plenty of white rice, which is satisfying. Regular bento boxes often skimp on the rice, but not here! There are bento boxes that will definitely appeal to men's hearts.

This is a bento shop located along the main street of the city hall in Eniwa in June 2016. Today is a holiday, so I decided to go on a drive with my beloved dog. For dinner, I thought of getting some bento, so I visited this place. The exterior looks modern and doesn't quite give off the impression of a bento shop. Inside, there is a menu with a decent variety of options, including the classic nori bento which I was happy to see. I ordered the nori bento and the ginger pork bento. It seems like you can also dine in at the shop. It took less than 10 minutes from ordering to being served. I had the nori bento, and even though the container looked small, it was packed with rice, and the deep container and generous rice portion were great. The delicious nori had a nice flavor. It came with pickled Chinese cabbage, fried chicken, white fish fry, curry-flavored tempura, and fish cake. The white fish fry was tasty and not fishy. The fried chicken was made with chicken thigh meat and had a well-seasoned soy sauce flavor without any unpleasant textures. The pickled Chinese cabbage was lightly seasoned and tasty. The rice was cooked perfectly. Bento boxes tend to have dishes with strong flavors, but this one had a good balance, and I was very satisfied with the delicious nori. Thank you for the meal.

There aren't many restaurants in Chitose area where you can be satisfied with just one coin, so this place is a rare find! Similar to the famous Kogane-chan Bento in Kitami, this bento shop also offers eat-in space with no dedicated waitstaff, but the two young men working there provide friendly and pleasant service. The curry, priced at only 500 yen, comes in a generous portion with sides of fried potatoes, broccoli, and carrots. The flavor of the curry is reminiscent of something your grandma would make, leaning towards a mild spiciness. The miso soup served with the curry is a surprising but perfect combination, just like the ones you would have at your grandma's house in the countryside. Personally, I prefer lighter flavors, but the miso soup served here was just right. Overall, it's a great place to stop by for a cheap and satisfying meal, especially during a motorcycle tour.

This is a place in Eniwa City, a fishing town along City Hall Street. If you are interested in a udon restaurant in Eniwa City, make sure to check the map on Tabelog for the exact location. Unfortunately, the udon restaurant I wanted to visit only operates at night, so I decided to try another place nearby. I ordered the "Rinpei Curry" and waited for it at a table for three. The curry, similar to soup curry, came with deep-fried vegetables and miso soup. The curry had a mild to medium spiciness level with ground meat, but it was quite salty. The portion size was generous, with over 300g of rice. The miso soup was also too salty. Despite the reasonable price and generous portion, the excessive saltiness was a downside.

After the Italian cafe closed down, a stylish bento shop opened up without anyone noticing. They offer a fried chicken bento for dining in at 530 yen, and a seaweed bento for takeout at 450 yen. The shop used to be empty, but now it has a sign saying "handmade bentos". I thought it was just a bento shop (which it is), so I went in to buy a bento, but to my surprise, there was a spacious and lovely dining area as well. I prefer dining in over takeout, so I visited again on another day. By the way, I'm not a fan of drive-thrus. I tried the fried chicken bento for dining in. The small pieces of fried chicken were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a flavorful but not overpowering taste. There was also a fried white fish included, which was a nice balance to the chicken. They even provided water and tea. The bento came with a fancy kabocha salad and pickles, and instant miso soup. The seaweed bento for takeout had several thin strips of seasoned seaweed on top of the rice, along with fried chicken, white fish, curry-flavored fish cake, and pickles. It's a great option for trying a variety of dishes at an affordable price. My family tried the Suzuhira curry bento, which had colorful vegetables and was slightly spicier than expected. They also tried the ginger pork bento, which was well-seasoned but not too heavy. The shop is run by two young men and a woman who are very friendly and accommodating. While there are several branches of a major bento chain in the city, this is the only independent shop, so I hope they continue to do well. Thank you for the meal.

I used the delivery service of this restaurant for lunch. It's convenient to have it delivered since my lunch break is short. This time I ordered the "ofukuro bento" (sweet and sour pork and fried hokke) for 450 yen. Getting change back from a 500 yen coin is also nice. The fried hokke was soft and delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I used it for lunch after a long time. When I looked at the weekly changing menu, there was a unfamiliar "Takasaki Pasta" and when I read the description, it reminded me of Kushiro's soul food, Spakatsu, so I decided to order it. When I looked at what arrived, first, there was something like Aurora sauce on chicken cutlet. The meat sauce flavor was light, so it was just right to eat together. It was delicious, but it made me want to eat Spakatsu (lol). Thank you for the meal.

This time, I visited a restaurant in Ebetsu. Since I came all the way here, I will visit the shops I was curious about. Thank you as always for the information, Miyu-chan! This bento shop was recommended by Miyu-chan. I originally wanted to use it as an izakaya, but my companion was afraid of "Corona, Corona" so we ended up getting bento for takeout. I ordered the "Cheese Menchi Katsu Bento" (tax included 650 yen). Although the menu says Menchi Katsu Bento, I changed it to cheese for an additional 50 yen. I also got the "Hamburger Bento" (tax included 650 yen). The special sauce seemed to be soy sauce-based. The juicy and fluffy burger was delicious. Both bentos were made so that the side dishes did not overlap, which made it enjoyable. Next time, I definitely want to enjoy the self-service all-you-can-drink option at the izakaya. Thank you, Suzuhira-san!

One day, on a free food day at work, I was having trouble finding ingredients to cook, so I decided to order delivery. Unfortunately, the restaurant I wanted to order from was closed. A colleague recommended Suzuhira's bento delivery, so I decided to go for it. I couldn't decide between beef bowl, pilaf, or kimchi fried rice, but I was told the fried chicken was a must-try. I ended up choosing the highball fried rice bento for 620 yen. They deliver for orders over 900 yen, so I ordered 12 bentos the day before to be safe. I requested delivery between 11:00 and 12:00, and it arrived around 11:30 on the day. I ordered the chicken and egg bowl bento, oil-drenched chicken bento, seaweed bento, kimchi and spicy pork bento, mackerel and highball bento, and pork belly kalbi bento. They also offer just side dishes, so I ordered just the side dishes for the chicken and egg bowl bento. The highball fried rice was new to me. I had a preconception that it might be either spicy or salty, but it was actually refreshing with plenty of sesame seeds and shiso leaves. The fried chicken had a Japanese-style seasoning and was tender, perfect with white rice or beer. Since I had the highball fried rice this time, I felt it could have been a bit less seasoned. Everything was delicious and warm when it arrived, and I would definitely consider using their delivery service again.
