"I visited Ramenya Rin in Ikeda City and tried their Salt Ramen (4 servings) for 950 yen. The broth is made from a blend of Hyogo Hyakunichi chicken and seafood stock, with a light salt seasoning that balances the rich flavor of the chicken broth and the delicate seafood aroma. The homemade noodles are made with Flour People flour, giving them a smooth texture and a satisfying chewiness. The chashu pork slices are tender and flavorful, with a mix of pork shoulder and chicken breast. Overall, the ramen has a light yet rich taste that is well-balanced and delicious."

I ordered the mazesoba that I was interested in on SNS. It seems that it will be served cold until September, so I chose the "raw soy sauce mazesoba" out of the two options. The chicken chashu was moist, and the pork rare chashu was diced, which tasted great when mixed with soy sauce. The chopped green onions added a nice touch. But above all, the deliciousness of the noodles stands out. They are slightly flat and have a good texture, making them easy to slurp up. I wanted to add extra noodles. It would be better if it was a bit cheaper, but I understand that the ingredients are expensive.

Soy sauce ramen large size for 1050 yen with a light broth. The noodles are flat and straight. Simple and delicious taste. I visited around 12:05 PM, but since there are only 7 counter seats, I had to wait outside for a bit before entering. Payment is done after the meal and cash only.

I visited for the first time on July 26, 2023, before 2 p.m. University students were on summer break, so I thought I could easily get a seat during lunchtime. I rode my bike through the scorching heat to get there. When I arrived and entered, there were just two empty seats left, so I ordered a large serving of salt ramen. I poured myself some water and waited for a few minutes before my bowl arrived, looking beautiful. The clear soup with golden chicken oil sparkling was a sight to behold. When I took a spoonful and tasted it, I could feel the perfect balance of saltiness and rich flavor in the clear soup. The noodles were homemade flat noodles, with thick slices of chicken chashu, rare chashu, and bamboo shoots adding a perfect touch to the dish. The thick slices of rare chashu were easy to eat with the cuts in them, but they also offer to cut them into smaller pieces if requested. Even though I didn't have much of an appetite, once I started eating, I couldn't stop, finishing every last drop of soup. It was a delicious meal!

The location is Ishibashi Hankaida. I tried to go to a taco shop again, but it was closed. So, I decided to go to the top ramen shop in Ishibashi, "Menya Rin." It's been three years since my last visit. This time, I ordered the cold soy sauce maze soba for 1200 yen, with an additional side of rice for 100 yen and menma for 200 yen. I also ordered a bottle of Heartland beer for 600 yen. The cold soy sauce maze soba is perfect for summer. The broth has a strong bonito flavor, with a good amount of toppings like chicken chashu, menma, and diced chashu. The overall taste is slightly sour, but the egg adds a nice mildness to it. Adding rice makes it even more satisfying. While I still think the regular ramen is tastier, this cold ramen is great for hot days, especially when paired with beer. The total bill was 2100 yen. If you're looking for cheap drinks and hearty food, I recommend trying Anbai, a new restaurant in the Nakano area.

Located near Hankyu Ishibashi Station, this ramen shop is situated along a main road in the opposite direction of the bustling downtown area. Despite it being early afternoon, there were about 5 people waiting in line. The shop is small with only a counter, so I waited for about 15 minutes. I ordered the regular ramen without knowing beforehand that their specialty is the rare chashu. The ramen that arrived had a clear soup with a rare chashu on top. The noodles were thick and firm, which I enjoyed. The rare chashu was indeed delicious, living up to its reputation. It must be difficult to achieve this rare texture. Overall, it was a high-quality bowl of ramen. While it may not be a place frequented by Osaka University students, I would definitely consider coming back to this shop.

Rare chashu and chicken chashu are delicious in soy sauce ramen! The noodles are thick like pasta and have a chewy texture. The soy sauce soup is slightly spicy and rich, very tasty! The large portion is also free, so it's recommended for those who want to eat a lot! #ramen

During the early summer season, it is common to visit Ikeda's representative noodle shop, Menya Rin. I planned to order the regular soy sauce ramen, but ended up ordering the summer limited "Cold Raw Soy Sauce Ramen" for 1,200 yen. I ordered "Kijyu yu," but when it was served, it was called "Nama shoyu." Curious, I looked it up and found out that they are different - "ki" has been heated while "nama" has not been heated. Heating it brings out more aroma. The cold soup enhances the clear outline of the soy sauce, and its deliciousness is conveyed. They stick to no artificial seasonings, so the refreshing taste is even more apparent in the cold soup. The homemade noodles, a medium-thick curly flat noodle, have a shiny appearance and a smooth surface that glides on the tongue. The chewy texture is enhanced by the cold soup, giving it a firm bite. The rare chashu also has a firm texture. Eating only cold noodles in the hot summer can feel like a taboo, but I look forward to enjoying the unique coolness of cold noodles that can only be experienced during this season.

I felt like eating the extremely delicious thick and rare chashu, so I decided to revisit the restaurant after a long time. When I entered the shop, there were two customers already seated. The shop was small, so I was worried if there would be enough space, but luckily there was. Despite its small size, the shop had a noodle-making room, showing their dedication to their craft. Last time I had the soy sauce ramen, so this time I decided to try the salt flavor. Since the large size was free, I went for the large size, of course. The salt ramen (large size) cost 950 yen including tax. The thick slices of rare chashu were just as impressive as before! The thick slices were easy to eat as they were pre-cut. I started with the rare chashu, which had a subtle yet exquisite flavor, tender and meaty at the same time, truly a superb rare chashu! The menma (bamboo shoots) were also beautifully shaped and delicious. Then, it was time for the ramen. Let's slurp up the noodles. The flat homemade noodles were supple with a dynamic feel, a testament to their dedication to making their own noodles. However, the soup was just a typical light salt ramen, lacking that special touch. Everything else was quite good, but the soup alone was lacking. Nevertheless, the rare chashu here is definitely worth a try! I looked back at my previous review of the soy sauce ramen I had last time and realized that the soup didn't suit my taste then either. If only the soup was to my liking, this would be the ultimate ramen. I hope they improve it someday. Thank you for the meal!

At Menya Rin, I tried the limited menu item "Rausu kombu and skipjack bonito salt ramen (served with rice). The aroma of skipjack bonito wafts from the soup. The clear golden soup shines with aromatic oil! Toppings include chicken breast, skipjack bonito in the center, finely chopped green onions, kaiware daikon radish, and menma bamboo shoots at the back. The soup, supported by Rausu kombu broth, resonates with the umami of skipjack bonito and a smooth salt flavor. When you take a sip, the umami gently spreads and gradually permeates your whole body. The smooth noodle surface, with a firm yet chewy texture, is homemade flat thick noodles that capture the soup well. Slurping up these noodles coated in the flavorful soup is a truly delicious experience. As you continue eating, the deliciousness only increases. The chicken breast is moist, and the menma has a satisfying crunch. Pouring the soup over the skipjack bonito-topped white rice creates an excellent ochazuke. Finally, savoring the remaining soup and finishing it off is a delightful experience. The lingering umami after finishing the meal was also pleasant. It was a blissful moment. Thank you for the meal.

I ordered soy sauce ramen with extra rare chashu. The handmade noodles have a strong flavor and a slightly flat shape. I'm curious about trying the mixed noodles next time! It seems like the flavors would blend well together. I might challenge myself with the mixed noodles in small size and rare chashu TKG next time.

Ordered:
- Soy sauce ramen (large serving) for 950 yen
- Limited edition: Black mixed noodles with oyster oil for 1,250 yen
The soy sauce ramen noodles were medium-thick flat noodles, with a thickness that may be divisive compared to other restaurants. Personally, I enjoyed the chewy texture and firmness of the noodles, which felt similar to udon. The soup was a light soy sauce base with a fairly robust and slightly sweet flavor. It was decent but not particularly memorable.
The black mixed noodles with oyster oil had the same type of noodles. The sauce was quite generous, covering the noodles up to half their depth, unlike the usual amount for mixed noodles. The flavor was a mix of oyster aroma and a slightly strong soy sauce taste, in line with the "black" naming. Again, it wasn't particularly memorable in terms of taste.
The service was polite and friendly, making for a pleasant dining experience.

It had been a while since I visited Ishibashi. I checked out the lunch options on Tabelog and decided to visit this highly rated restaurant. When I asked the staff about popular items, they mentioned that the overwhelming favorite was soy sauce. I ordered the normal soy sauce ramen, while my wife ordered the cold soy sauce ramen. Upon entering the restaurant, we were served promptly. My first impression was that the chashu looked impressive, with rare chashu and chicken chashu. The normal soy sauce ramen had a gentle flavor, while the cold ramen had a strong taste of kelp and was very delicious. Personally, I preferred the cold ramen.

Located about a 5-minute walk from Hankyu Ishibashi Hankaidaibefore Station, Menya Rin is situated right next to the Hankyu Bus Ishibashi Office (garage). I was able to enter the restaurant without waiting in line as it had just opened. The interior has only 6 counter seats, all high chairs, making it essentially an adult-only establishment. The service was polite and welcoming. The menu is simple and easy to read, so you won't have trouble deciding what to order. This time, I chose the Soy Sauce Ramen (large size) for 950 yen and the Chashu Rice Bowl for 350 yen. The combination of flat noodles and soy sauce soup has a smooth texture and a gentle taste. The thick slices of chashu on top of the ramen were a delight! The Chashu Rice Bowl with plenty of chashu was also great. The restaurant has an official Twitter account, so it's a good idea to gather information beforehand. It can be a bit difficult to wait outside on the narrow sidewalk when there's a line, but if the timing is right, I would definitely like to visit again. #MenyaRin #Ramen #SoySauceRamen #ChashuRiceBowl #Ishibashi #IshibashiHankaidaibefore #Lunch #Gelie #GelieFood #Tabelog

It had been a while since I visited Menya Rin. I saw on Twitter that they had a limited edition Izumo Black ramen, so I hesitated between that and the Izumo Black tsukemen, but ended up ordering the Izumo Black ramen. I also added chicken chashu and a boiled egg. I also got the rare chashu with raw egg. It had been a while since I last had it, but the noodles were really delicious! It's a shame they don't offer extra noodles (large portion). The rare chashu was easy to eat as they cut it with a knife. If I weren't worried about gaining weight, I would have loved to try the tsukemen as well. I'll have to make another trip to Ikeda soon!

I visited "Menya Rin" in Ikeda City, Osaka Prefecture. It is located about 350m north of the East Exit of Ishibashi Hankyu Takarazuka Line Station, at the corner of Inokuchi-do intersection. There is a coin parking nearby for 200 yen for 30 minutes. I visited on Monday at 1:45 pm and there were 5 customers already there. The cozy interior has an L-shaped counter with 6 seats, and there is a noodle-making room on the left side of the entrance. The air conditioning works well, creating an ideal ramen-eating environment. The menu mainly consists of ramen, tsukemen, and maze-soba, each with soy sauce and salt options. The only seasoning on the table is shichimi. The service is very polite and warm. I ordered the "Kombu water soy sauce tsukemen (large)" for 1,050 yen. The option for extra noodles at no additional cost for both ramen and tsukemen is a nice service. The homemade straight flat noodles are smooth and have a nice chewy texture, similar to udon. However, the kombu water for dipping the noodles was unexpectedly light and lacked depth. The dipping sauce seems to be based on a light chicken broth with a prominent soy sauce and seafood flavor. The noodles are slightly thinner than usual for better coating, but I personally felt that they lacked a bit of flavor absorption after the initial enjoyment of the smooth texture. The toppings included tender chashu, moist chicken ham with a gentle saltiness, bamboo shoots, kaiware, and chopped green onions. The dipping sauce in the bowl was the leftover cold kombu water. Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I had two bowls of dipping noodles and soy sauce ramen! The soy sauce ramen is recommended, but I prefer dipping noodles. The soy sauce ramen comes with flat noodles and a good amount of toppings, including thick slices of chashu which were satisfying to eat. The menma (bamboo shoots) were my favorite, and I could taste the seafood flavor more than the soy sauce. The delicious dipping noodles had flat noodles that were perfectly cooked, soft but chewy. The dipping sauce was a bit lacking in flavor, but the noodles were so delicious that I felt happy.

I visited this restaurant for the first time!! It seems like the owner is from Kinsei. I ordered the soy sauce ramen in large size with a seasoned boiled egg topping. It's great that you can get extra noodles for free. The sharp soy sauce flavor, made with chicken and seafood broth without any chemical seasonings, is very delicious. The homemade medium-thick noodles have a fantastic aroma and flavor! The chicken chashu is also delicious, and the large rare chashu has a great texture and presence. My stomach was fully satisfied. I enjoyed the meal very much, thank you!!

Personally, if you want to eat ramen around Ishibashi, this is definitely the place. The noodles are chewy, the soup has a strong flavor but not too heavy, so you can drink as much as you want. I always have the image of lining up, but it's worth it even if you have to wait. The customer service was also good with a friendly older brother.

Yoshida Ramen Rating ★★★★☆ 4.0 on Tabelog ★★★☆☆ 3.66 (at the time of posting) 80th bowl in 2022 Soy sauce ramen. The toppings are generous, with chashu that is almost like a special at other shops, which is nice haha. It's delicious, but honestly, I wouldn't go all the way to Ikeda City just for this ramen. It's a fact that this ramen is simple, delicious, and doesn't get boring, but... it's not at the level of the top 1 or 2 in Ikeda City! My honest ramen review is here! Search for touma19951216 on Instagram! @touma19951216 Search for Yoshida Ramen + prefecture (without the word "prefecture") Yoshida Ramen + city/town/village Yoshida Ramen + station name Yoshida Ramen + store name with tagging to see Yoshida and Uma's ramen, so definitely don't look at it.

After getting a golf shaft fitting, we stopped by a one-way street with a lot of traffic and it was hard to find the store. We checked and found a nearby parking lot. It was our first time there, so I ordered soy sauce ramen. My partner got the mixed noodles with chashu, which was really delicious. The ham steak was also great. The noodles were chewy and smooth. The fact that there is a noodle factory inside the restaurant explains the quality. If you want to eat ramen, this is the kind of ramen you want to have. I definitely want to go back again.
