When dining in Chitose, I always make sure to visit this place. The exterior of the restaurant has a wild look, which may make some people hesitant to enter. Inside, there are strange objects received from fishermen in Nemuro, a half-hearted grilling area, and tables that have become cleaner over time due to customers wiping them. However, the restroom is clean and suitable for women. The clientele may seem rough due to the appearance of the restaurant, but most of them are decent individuals. In fact, I have even had drinks with airplane pilots, and it seems that flight attendants also visit sometimes. The tables can seat about 12 people, with two grilling spaces in the middle. The beverage options are draft beer or shochu, with the popular choice being a bottle of Kuro Kirishima shochu. Mixers include soda and oolong tea. The grilled items vary, with options like salmon, Atka mackerel, and sablefish. Shellfish such as scallops and scallops were available, as well as potatoes. The grilling method is simple - the fish is placed on the grill and cooked. Despite the straightforward cooking process, the food is surprisingly delicious. Since there is only one chef, it may take some time to prepare dishes like shellfish, so it's best to order them early. While I personally enjoy the casual atmosphere of the restaurant, some people may find it frustrating. Scallops and scallops are grilled with butter and soy sauce, and they taste great when mixed with rice. After eating the fish meat, grilling the bones and skin slowly on the grill is also delicious. If you're sharing a table with a different group, it's polite to ask before doing this. The air conditioning is not the best, so it can get smoky when there are fish on both grills. However, this can be improved by slightly opening the entrance door. Despite all this, it's best not to dress too fancy when visiting. Everyone has different tastes, but if you find yourself in Chitose, I recommend giving this place a try.
