A friend gave me a gift. Croissant: When reheated, it is crispy with a good flavor of wheat and butter. Ancient bread made with cold malt: It looks like rye bread. When sliced, it has a dense texture and a sweet and delicious taste. When lightly toasted and eaten with butter, it made me feel very happy. Cannele: When reheated, the outside is crispy and the inside is chewy. It has a good vanilla scent and a simple yet sophisticated taste. I really liked the taste. I now want to visit the bakery myself and try more types of bread.

Located deep in the mountains, I asked locals for recommendations and they said it's a must-visit. Unfortunately, they were sold out of their famous canelés and hard breads by Saturday afternoon. The Earl Grey and white chocolate bread, as well as the ancient bread, were delicious and I definitely want to come back. Thank you for the wonderful meal! ♬

I passed the time at a nearby café while waiting for my galette to be ready. I noticed that Utari has opened a shop in Tsutaya in Kiyota, and I wonder if they are planning to expand their stores in the future. I purchased the Rye Croissant for 238 yen. When I got home, I reheated it in my toaster oven. Even though I wasn't very hungry, I still ate it! Normally, I would prefer to eat it in the morning, but using the toaster oven in the morning is too much trouble. When baked, the crust was crispy and the inside was chewy, a winning combination! The saltiness, which is the main point of rye, was subtle. The buttery aroma was present without being overpowering, creating a light and gentle flavor that felt good for the body. I would like to try more of their hard-style pastries, but due to location constraints, I would probably purchase from the Kiyota store. Thank you for the meal.

"I heard that the Neeun Pets Glass Art Research Institute started a bakery, and I wanted to come early, but I didn't have a chance to come nearby, so I ended up scheduling to come here. After the rain, the unpaved ground was in bad condition and my shoes got dirty, and the car floor was also muddy. Even though I wasn't invited, I went there on my own, so if you don't like it, don't come. But if you invite customers and do business, wouldn't it be better to at least lay gravel and level the ground without paving it? The building on the left in front of the Neeun Pets Glass Art Research Institute, separate from the main building, is the Forest Bread Workshop Utari. When I opened the door and entered the store, a handsome man greeted me. The interior of the store had a woody design, giving off a good atmosphere of a rural workshop. It was a little past noon when I visited, but there were only two types of products on the display shelf. The man apologized for the limited selection. It seemed like bread was still being made in the back workshop, but there didn't seem to be anything ready to be baked immediately. I purchased the "Fig and Walnut (half) @450+tax." The price seemed reasonable for the size. I tasted it in the car immediately. The product, wrapped in a brown bag with what seemed to be the logo of the store stamped on it, was carefully wrapped in parchment paper. The crust was not too hard, with a semi-hard texture, which seemed like it was baked in an electric oven. If it had been baked in a stone oven, it might have had a more rugged and manly appearance. The dough had a fragrant aroma and a wheat flavor spread throughout. The crumb had a massy, moist texture. Personally, I felt it could have been a bit heavier, but that might be the trick to its cost-effectiveness. The amount of figs and walnuts was on the smaller side, which might also be a cost-cutting measure. I took it home and sliced it to about 1 cm thick and reheated it. When baked, the moistness decreased, and it became crispy. It would be good to make a toast by slicing it thinly and sandwiching ham or cheese between. I would like to visit when the product selection is more abundant, but the location is a drawback. Thank you for the meal."

I visited the Sapporo Forest Bakery for my grandson's birthday. The day before, I stayed at my daughter's house, but there was no beer. So, I had to go buy some with my grandson in tow. My daughter asked me to carry the baby while she cleaned. It was a challenge, but I managed to walk with the baby in my arms and my 5-year-old by my side. It made me realize how difficult it must be for parents with young children. The bread at the bakery was delicious, especially the raisin bread and croissant with garlic chips. Overall, the experience was enjoyable and the bread was top-notch.

It was a very stylish bakery. The bread didn't have much flavor, it was just ordinary bread. It seemed like it was run by a young person, so I hope it becomes a delicious and wonderful bakery. The most delicious thing was the canelé!

I saw the article from "Hungry Agusan" and went there right away ♥️♥️ I couldn't believe there was a bakery in such a place with the best atmosphere and kind staff ♥️♥️ Handsome men and beautiful women. Most importantly, the bread is delicious. I usually like hard bread, so I got three types: old-fashioned bread, rye slices, and others. For my wife, I got two types of croissants. I immediately ate the rye slices as a vegetable sandwich, and despite looking soft, it was surprisingly rich in flavor. And the chewiness. The aroma. It was a taste that became addictive. It was the first time I thought soft bread could be delicious. And the hard bread was also delicious. Delicious is an understatement. It was amazing. Also, the outside was muddy from the melting snow, but the cleanliness inside the bakery was wonderful. It was a lovely bread. Thank you for the wonderful information, "Hungry Agusan." I will definitely go back ♥️

I visited a bakery located along a shortcut that I usually take. I arrived before opening time and was able to enter when they opened. The store was filled with delicious-looking bread. I chose three types of bread, and the croissant I picked was crispy on the outside and had a unique flavor, perhaps due to rye, making it very tasty. The other two types of hard bread I bought were also delicious. I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

Kitahiroshima is a popular bakery located on the premises of Niwunbetsu Glass Craft. The interior of the shop has a good atmosphere, with delicious dark brown breads neatly laid out, making it hard to resist. The croissant has a coarse texture and is crispy and airy, with a nice flavor of fermented butter and just the right amount of saltiness. The croque monsieur is a classic favorite, with tasty white sauce and a good balance of cheese. The aged France uses whole wheat flour, giving it a nice flavor and a chewy texture, although personally, I could do without the faint acidity from the aging process. All the breads are delicious. The croissant amandine, topped with sweet almond paste, is also popular.

I visited a bakery in Rikou, Kitahiroshima City in November 2022. It is located within the Nieunbetsu Forest. Today, I went on a drive with my elderly dog after a long time. The bread here is made without any additives. I bought the Zalts Butter and Rye Croissant. The Rye Croissant was crispy, fragrant, and had a good texture. The Zalts Butter had a nice buttery flavor and a crispy texture. Despite being newly opened, this bakery is already popular.

I visited a bakery that opened on the premises of the Nienumpe Glass Studio after reading a review by Miyu-chan. The interior of the shop has a renovated old folk house style, with a limit of two people entering at a time. You have to tell the staff which bread you want and they will get it for you. On that day, they had four types of bread: Aged French, Rye Croissant, Rye, and Baton Fruity. I bought two items, the Baton Fruity and the Rye Croissant. The Baton Fruity, which I tried for the first time, is a German bread with dried fruits and nuts. The more you chew, the better the aroma of the wheat, and it is delicious with plenty of raisins, orange peel, and walnuts. It was so delicious! The Rye Croissant had a mild acidity typical of rye bread, with a crispy crust and a moist interior with a good buttery aroma. Although they were sold out that day, I am interested in trying the ancient bread made with cold koji, so I would like to visit again. Thank you, Utari-san!

This is a place in Rinkaku, Kitahiroshima City, located within the Nieunbetsu Forest. For the exact location, please check the map on Tabelog as usual. I heard that a new bakery has opened in Rinkaku, Kitahiroshima, so I visited the shop out of curiosity. I parked my car in the front parking lot and entered the shop. I briefly checked the recommended items on the board, looked at the bread on the shelves, and decided to get the "Rye Croissant" and "Raisin Bread Half." After paying at the counter, I left the shop. Back at home, I first examined the cross-section of the "Rye Croissant." The color was light brown, and the sturdy roll was visible, with a distinct rye flavor. Then, I tried the "Raisin Bread," which had a soft texture and a nice accent of raisin flavor. I look forward to trying the "An Butter Sandwich" made with French bread and the "Sliced Rye Bread" next time.

I learned about it somewhere and it's a bakery. Rye croissant for 227 yen and almond croissant for 292 yen. Located inside the Nīwunpetsu premises, the building on the left as soon as you enter. Parking for 3 cars in front of the store + 1 car on the side, total of 4 cars. Entry limited to 2 groups. Pull the handle on the left to enter. Feel free to take photos. The bakery smells great. They have hard bread and sandwich bread. Recommendations are written on the blackboard and explained verbally. They have an ancient bread made with cold koji that I love. I bought the almond croissant and the rye croissant. The dough is crispy and light. The 21-year-old owner is from Kitahiroshima. His dream was to open a bakery in his hometown, with the image of a "small bakery in the woods." The bakery opened here thanks to fate. Some of the renovation costs were covered by crowdfunding. I didn't contribute anything, but it was delicious.

Ancient bread made with cold fermentation (422 yen)! When I asked Utari-san, they definitely recommended trying this. First, try it without any toppings and chew it thoroughly. Then, add your favorite toppings if you like. It has a rich and deep flavor that can even be enjoyed as a snack. We also tried the rye croissant (227 yen), patonfrui (270 yen), and canele (200 yen), all of which were delicious. I regret not taking photos because I couldn't resist biting into them due to their amazing aroma. I definitely want to visit again before the snow gets too deep. Next time, I'll try their soft bread as well!

The young owner seems to prefer light flavors overall, which may be a recent trend. While I don't necessarily prefer strong flavors, I do enjoy a bit more uniqueness in the dishes.
