Driving towards Enbetsu-cho during lunchtime, I searched on Tabelog and found this place. The deciding factor was the half & half set meal that caught my attention. There are two parking spaces to the right of the entrance on the first floor of Kitami Bus Center. The interior of the restaurant is compact, offering a variety of diner-style menu items. I chose the half & half set meal for 800 yen, where you can choose two dishes from options like ginger pork, pork kimchi, meat and vegetable stir-fry, and fried chicken. I chose ginger pork and fried chicken. There is also a 900 yen half & half option. Upon seating, they provided a wet towel, cold tea, and a water pot, which was a delightful touch. The hospitality of this diner is exceptional. The table was also equipped with tissues, which was a nice touch. During my visit, there were only three other customers, so I was able to relax and enjoy my meal. The set meal was served with two of my favorite dishes, which was fantastic. The ginger pork included two slices of pork loin, and the fried chicken consisted of four small pieces. Despite the small rice bowl, the meal also came with miso soup and pickles. Additionally, there was a salad and spaghetti salad on the main plate, along with sesame dressing, thousand island dressing, and mayonnaise on the side. I was very pleased with this thoughtful gesture. Next time, I might try the meat and vegetable stir-fry and fried chicken.

"Oozora Shokudo" I wonder where we'll have lunch on the day we were heading to Sapporo. It seems like there are not many options in Enbetsu. When we came here with two people the other day, we found out that a new restaurant had opened, but it was their regular holiday, so we postponed visiting that place. Let's go check it out now. It's at the bus terminal. It used to be a different restaurant before. It seems like it has changed. If it's changed, I hope it's a bit cleaner now. Where should we park? It's a bus terminal, so we need to be careful where we park. Let's take a look around. There's a designated parking lot, so no need to worry. A guy in an apron welcomed us outside. I can't take a picture. There's a lady walking around with a snow shovel, but there are no customers. Yes, no one is here. It's much cleaner than before, which is good, but the radio is too noisy. Can you ignore it? "Anywhere is fine!" So we sat at a table. There are four tables. The counter has one seat facing the kitchen and three seats with their backs to it. They only have soy sauce and miso. Even though we're in Enbetsu, they only have soy sauce and miso. There's nothing to eat. I ordered the "Soy Sauce Ramen for 650 yen." It was ready in 6 minutes. Oh! The cloudy soup is actually Asahikawa Ramen. It's different when you eat it. The noodles are completely different from Asahikawa. Considering the price, there's no room to complain. I don't need seaweed. It's not good, and the fish cake doesn't have a good color. The thick and meaty chashu is good in one bite. The bean sprouts are almost non-existent. Maybe they are fresh? The soup is better to drink on its own than as ramen. It might be a commercial product, but it tastes like pork bone. It might need some adjustments to make it tastier as ramen. The bus company is using a big shovel to throw the snow on the road inside the facility. Is it okay to have such a menu in a public facility?

Discovered a new shop at Togeshi Bus Terminal. I wonder when it opened. Since I'm here, why not try the food. The menu has set meals, noodles, curry, and more. While waiting, I noticed the Half & Half menu. What's this? Choose 2 items from Pork Kimchi, Meat and Vegetable Stir Fry, Fried Chicken, Ginger Pork for 800 yen. Or choose 2 items from Dice Steak, Hamburger, Tonkatsu for 900 yen. I want to try a variety of dishes, so I decided on that. Hmm, I wish I could have picked Meat and Vegetable Stir Fry and Steak... 900 yen for 2 items seems heavy. But since I'm here, I ordered the Dice Steak and Hamburger set. They even served coffee before the meal. The steak arrived on a hot plate. It's supposed to be Dice Steak, but I don't mind that it's just a regular steak (laughs). The sauce is rich and makes me want to eat more rice. The hamburger has a white meat, not sure if it's chicken? But it's hot and goes well with the demi-glace sauce. This also goes well with rice. Pasta salad, miso soup, pickles, and extra rice were included. The taste is not bad, and it's a good deal. I would like to try a different set next time.
