Negi Beef Curry for 1,100 yen. I visited around 6:30 pm on Friday. No wait. It is located outside the ticket gate on the first floor of Shin-Osaka Station. Since the JR and Shinkansen platforms are on the third floor, you need to go down two more escalators. The curry sauce is on the sweeter side but the spices leave a unique taste in your mouth. If you like spicy food, you might want to add extra spiciness. I think I'll try that next time. The beef, similar to gyudon, goes well with the negi. I quite liked it. If you like negi, you'll probably enjoy it too. There is a generous amount of curry and rice. It's a small but delicious restaurant.

I went to Moja Curry in the underground of Shin-Osaka Station. You can adjust the spiciness as much as you like with an additional charge. I chose level 20 spiciness, but personally, I felt it was not spicy enough. If you are good with spicy food, you should go for a higher level. The curry has a strong sweetness, so even after the spiciness, you can still taste the sweetness. The beef belly meat goes really well with the curry. Even if you order a small portion of rice, it's quite a lot, so be careful with that too. I think it would be even more delicious if you adjust it to your liking. Next time, I'll go for level 40 spiciness and a smaller portion of rice. Thank you for the meal!

I arrived at the restaurant around 6:00 PM at Shin-Osaka Station. The shop was very small, and I had to leave my suitcase at the entrance. The inside of the shop was empty. It seems like it might get busier during lunchtime. I ordered the Negi Beef Curry, 500 times spicier than usual. The spiciness was about 15 times stronger than CoCo Ichibanya. I prefer the taste of CoCo Ichibanya. The female staff had a cold and indifferent attitude, which bothered me. After eating, I felt more sweetness in my mouth than spiciness. Next time, I'll try the 1000 times spicier curry.

If you go after 12 o'clock, the restaurant is full and there is a wait of 5 people, but with only 7 seats at the counter, the turnover is good so you can enter the restaurant in about 10 minutes. I ordered the most popular Negi Beef Curry, and it was served in less than 5 minutes. The beef, sweetly simmered, paired perfectly with the curry. Thanks to the green onions, I was able to finish it easily. The rice was a normal portion of 300 grams, just right for men. While the 2nd and 3rd floors of Shin-Osaka Station are busy, I highly recommend the 1st floor's Ajinokoji. There are many other wonderful restaurants, so I will continue to explore them in the future.

On the way back from Shin-Osaka Station, if you're alone, go for the reliable pork cutlet curry! When I asked if it was okay to take a photo of the curry, the lady at the counter smiled and said, "Sure, go ahead." The curry was delicious. I will definitely go back for curry next time I visit Osaka.

I ordered the Negi Beef Curry (1100 yen). Firstly, both the negi (150 yen, frozen) and the meat (250 yen, tough and hard to chew) were too little. The curry sauce tasted like a typical homemade mix, not what I would expect from a restaurant. It's not bad, but it's not the flavor I was looking for from a restaurant. It tasted like it could be improved with a hint of sweetness or something as a secret ingredient. Personally, the finish was far below that of CoCo Ichibanya, which was disappointing. There were no toppings besides the Fukujinzuke, and the service was non-existent. The restaurant is too cramped, making it very uncomfortable to stay. If someone speaks loudly, it's bound to splash onto the curry or water cups. The fact that you have to serve your own water is a plus and a minus. The way they stand the disposable spoon wrappers without any paper around them made me feel a bit uneasy in terms of hygiene (is it okay?). Even at 500 yen, it's a bit too much, maybe 350 yen would be more reasonable. Still, I don't think I would come back again.

The portion size is generous by default. There is enough curry sauce so you don't have to worry about running out. It takes a bit of time to fry the cutlet. The cutlet coating is so crispy that it might hurt your mouth, but it's good. I'm not good with spicy food, but I think I can handle it if it's medium spicy.

The normal curry for 800 yen was delicious. When I asked for recommendations, they said everything is recommended and delicious. I wanted to order katsu curry but they said fried food takes time, so I went with the normal curry. I was a bit scared because when everything is recommended at a restaurant, it can often be disappointing. But it was delicious. Cheese would probably go well with it. Next time, I want to try different toppings. It was a simple yet delicious curry. It had a hint of sweetness from the vegetables. It was slightly spicy but not too hot. Thank you for the meal. It was convenient to be able to pay with d payment. I'll definitely stop by again when I get off at Shin-Osaka.

I arrived at Shin-Osaka Station at 10:30 and headed to Moja Curry to have lunch. I had been eyeing this place and had to wait until 11:00 for it to open. I was the first in line to enter. I ordered the most popular Negi Beef Curry with medium spice level. The curry turned out to be surprisingly sweet despite ordering medium spice, so it had a hint of spiciness but was mainly sweet. However, the crunchy texture of the green onions added a nice accent, making the curry overall delicious. The restaurant is extremely small, with only a counter (the smallest I've seen), but it's popular for a reason.

Negi Beef Curry 1,100 yen
Recently, I ate curry at Shirogane-tei, so I can't help but compare it. Even though the review on Tabelog shows only a 0.08 difference, for me, there is a world of difference. What I can't forgive is that the curry sauce is lukewarm. It doesn't have to be freshly made, but this is unacceptable. Also, the beef tastes cheap, and I don't think green onions go well with curry. It's true that it lacks spiciness, as mentioned in other reviews, but to increase the spiciness by one level, an additional cost is incurred. I now want to go to Shirogane-tei.

It is a Moja curry. This is a small restaurant with only counter seats for about 7 people. These kinds of places used to be called curry stands. The most popular dish is the Negi curry, which most customers order. Since it was my first time, I ordered the normal curry. However, I chose to make it 50 spiciness. I was debating on making it 100 spiciness, but I decided to go for half of that since I didn't want it to be too spicy. The spiciness level ranges from 0 to 1000. The "Curry 50 spiciness" has a fruity and deep flavor, with a punch of spiciness. The sweet and spicy flavors alternate in a unique way that you can't find in other restaurants. I was sweating and my nose was running, but the air conditioning inside the restaurant saved me. I would say that 50 spiciness is equivalent to about a 6 spiciness level at Coco Ichibanya. It was delicious!

Hidden on the first floor of Shin-Osaka Station is a curry specialty shop called Moja Curry, with only 7 counter seats in a cozy space. The walls are adorned with autographs of famous people, as seen in the media. Today, I tried the Negi Beef Curry for 1100 yen. The curry, rich in deep spices, was delicious. Although I had to wait a bit, amidst the countless curry restaurants in the station, this one was a gem. If you're in Shin-Osaka, be sure to give it a try!✨

In the sweltering heat, I wandered through the station for 20 minutes before finally arriving at the store! By the time I got there, I was exhausted. The location information on the map inside the station was not accurate, so I got lost. Once seated, I ordered the curry with beef and leeks that many people were ordering. The curry sauce was light but flavorful. The beef had a slight sweetness, creating a perfect balance with the curry sauce. I finished the meal drenched in sweat. It was delicious.

I'm sorry for the picture being partially eaten. I found out last month that they are open until night, so I visited for the first time today after finishing my business trip. I arrived at Shin-Osaka around 5 pm on Tuesday and there were no other customers. I ordered the medium spicy Negi Beef Curry with a small rice. It arrived in less than 5 minutes. The beef had a lot of tendons and was quite tough compared to Yoshinoya. It didn't seem to go very well with the curry. The crunchy texture of the leeks adds an accent to the curry, but I didn't feel like the curry needed a crunchy texture. Carrots or onions would be fine (I'm not a fan of potatoes). However, I think tomatoes, which are an option for toppings, might go well with it. As for the curry itself, as others have mentioned, it starts off sweet and then the spiciness kicks in. Since the spices aren't very strong, the sweetness can feel monotonous and I got tired of it halfway through. As stated on the menu, the medium spicy level is equivalent to a home-style medium spiciness. The small rice was enough for me, so I assume the regular portion here would be equivalent to a large portion at other places. In conclusion, it wasn't really to my liking, but it's a matter of personal preference so I'm giving it a higher score. The low rating for service is due to the lack of enthusiasm from the part-time staff. Since I didn't appreciate the goodness of Watanabe Curry either, maybe I just don't suit Kansai-style curry.

I visited before noon on Saturday and had to wait for 2 people. I ordered the Negi Beef Curry for 1100 yen with medium spiciness for an extra 50 yen. The small 200g rice was discounted by 50 yen. The first bite was sweet, followed by a slow heat typical of Osaka's sweet and spicy curry. The most popular dish is the Negi Beef Curry. The beef has a sweetness similar to beef udon, and the negi helps to balance the flavors. I rarely come to Shin-Osaka Station during the day, so I was finally able to visit.

I arrived at a counter-only restaurant around 11:20 and was lucky to find one seat available. The meal had a generous portion size, and the normal curry had a drink-like smoothness, so if you want to enjoy the texture, it's better to go for a topping of some kind. Water and fukujinzuke (pickled vegetables) are self-service!

I went to the always crowded restaurant in Shin-Osaka. It was just past 11 o'clock, so there was one seat available. It's a small place with just a counter. I ordered the Negi Beef Curry. The balance of beef belly meat and chopped green onions was delicious. It was well simmered, slightly spicy, and had a rich flavor! It's no wonder it's a popular restaurant. The portion size was great for the price. Thank you for the meal.

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. The place was a bit small with around 6 seats. However, the turnover is fast so the waiting time is not too long. I ordered the beef and green onion curry with an egg topping. The curry was quite rich and slightly spicy, so I recommend adding the egg. It was a whole egg, but since the curry portion was generous, even the egg white melted into the sauce, adding a nice touch. The sweet stewed meat, crunchy green onions, curry, and egg balanced well together, giving a slightly nostalgic taste. It was very delicious.

The counter-only restaurant is very small inside. I ordered a small portion of Negi Beef Curry Rice. Most people were ordering the Negi Beef, so I could tell it was popular. The combination of the rich beef flavor, refreshing taste and texture of the leeks was excellent. The curry had a perfect balance of richness, sweetness, and spiciness, and the level of richness was just right so I didn't get tired of it. Even though I ordered a small portion of rice, I ended up feeling full. Satisfied.
