Near Sapporo Station, there is a gelato shop located in the Tokyu Department Store's basement. They offer around 8 different flavors of gelato. Unfortunately, their soft serve ice cream machine was out of order during my visit. I ordered a double scoop of kiwi yogurt and peach yogurt gelato this time! The gelato had a nice balance of sweetness and fruitiness. It was smooth and creamy, with a mild flavor.

Hello everyone! I was wandering around Sapporo Station and felt like taking a little break and having some soft serve ice cream. Let's go to "Gelateria Verita" on the basement first floor of Tokyu Department Store Sapporo Branch. I'll have the Coffee Float for 486 yen, please. Here we go! It's affiliated with the neighboring Kafucha Tea House, so they know their coffee well. The ice coffee is rich and slightly bitter, topped with a generous serving of soft serve ice cream. You can adjust the amount of cream you mix into the coffee as you like. And the fact that you can enjoy this for less than a coin is a great deal. Thank you for the meal!

I tried the gelato at Gelateria Verita after a long time. It is a shop located in Tokyu Department Store, B1, run by the renowned coffee shop "Kaficha-kan". They offer gelato made by Iwase Farm, which won the highest gold award in the "Local Ice Cream Grand Prix", among other delicious flavors. On this day, I chose the Croquant and limited edition strawberry flavors. The Croquant is a daily flavor with a strong caramel aroma and almond accents, a popular flavor exclusive to Kaficha-kan. The strawberry flavor is a sherbet loved by children for its sweetness and fragrance. I decided to try the recommended and limited edition flavors instead of sticking to my usual favorites. Next time, I'll try a different gelato flavor! Thank you for the meal.

I just finished drinking watermelon juice at a juice stand nearby, but then I found a gelato shop about a minute's walk away. They didn't have a lot of flavors (about 10 or so), but they had a "daily special flavor." Isn't that sneaky? It makes you want to come back every day. I saw my favorite "blood orange" flavor for the first time! So, even though I was already full, I ordered a double scoop of "blood orange and pineapple" (laughs). The double scoop cost 627 yen. The pineapple was a "limited time offer," so I couldn't resist. Both flavors were delicious, but quite sweet. My companion was also full, so they only took one bite. I enjoyed it while feeling full and satisfied. Thank you for the meal!

It's been about half a year since I last visited Tokyu-san, who I had the pleasure of meeting on the rooftop. For those who have been following me since two years ago, you may know that I visited Tokyu-san for the purpose of "Taiko no Tatsujin." Even though Tokyu-san has retired, the memories of the time when I was taken care of by Tokyu-san are still cherished! I have used the underground area a few times, but I didn't know there was a gelato shop there. I ordered a "Double (¥627)" gelato with "Gianduia Nuts" and "Black Honey" flavors. Wow, this price for a double scoop! Even a triple scoop for ¥627 is not cheap, and a single scoop for ¥443 is expensive! There is a gelato shop nearby that offers a 4-flavor scoop for ¥550, so it doesn't feel cheap to me. This is what they call department store prices, I guess. As for the flavors, the Gianduia was brown in the photo, and the Black Honey was a light yellow color. Gianduia is a mixture of roasted nut paste and chocolate. The combination of sweetness, bitterness, and the nutty aroma of the paste creates an elegant taste! The crunchy texture of the mixed nuts adds an element of variety to the taste and texture, making it a superb dish that doesn't get boring. The Black Honey has a hard sauce hidden inside the gelato. It's not integrated and doesn't blend well with the gelato. Black Honey itself is quite sweet, so naturally the sauce is extremely sweet. This is my first time trying Black Honey gelato, so I'm not sure if this type of flavor is common. Personally, I prefer Gianduia. The chocolate gelato was very delicious. But considering the price, even if it's delicious, I probably won't come back unless I really feel like it. There are only about 10 flavors of gelato, which is quite limited. Maybe I'll conquer all the gelato and ice cream shops around Sapporo Station before coming back. Thank you for the meal.

The gelato shop located in the basement of Sapporo Tokyu Department Store. I passed by it while moving from Paseo to Miledo, even though Tokyu is not a department store I usually visit. The variety of gelato flavors is not that many, but they also have soft serve. I decided to try their gelato. A single scoop is 443 yen, while a double scoop is 627 yen. The prices seem a bit high, but since it's my first time here, I want to try two flavors. I chose "Raspberry" and "Rum Raisin" for a double scoop. It was listed as 627 yen, but the actual price was 626 yen – 580 yen for the gelato and 46 yen for tax. Raspberry is a limited-time sorbet with a sweet and sour taste that is very refreshing. Rum Raisin was delicious, with a rich flavor of rum-soaked raisins mixed into the milk gelato. The gelato was tasty, and there are tables available for dining in, not just benches. However, even though it's a department store, the prices are a bit on the high side.

Sapporo's long-established coffee shop, "Kahi-Sakan," is one of my favorite coffee shops. Their first ice cream shop, "Gelateria Verita," is located right next to "Kahi-Sakan." They offer soft serve ice cream and gelato. I ordered a mix of vanilla and coffee soft serve ice cream in a cone and enjoyed it at the seating area next to the shop.
Soft Serve Ice Cream Mix:
The milk-based soft serve ice cream was slightly smooth with a subtle grainy texture that disappears on the tongue. The chocolate cream was gentle and suitable for children. The cone was good quality.
Price: 432 yen (tax included)
The soft serve ice cream has a gentle flavor that is suitable for everyone, making it perfect for families. The shop was crowded, so the mixing time for the soft serve ice cream felt slightly short, resulting in a common taste found in department stores and popular tourist spots. This is somewhat unavoidable due to the popularity of the shop. It might be better to have two soft serve machines to ensure sufficient mixing time. I look forward to trying the chocolate gelato next time. Delicious, thank you for the meal.

My daughter wanted to eat soft serve ice cream, so I went to buy it. It's a refreshing soft serve ice cream that tastes like Hokkaido milk. You can choose between a cup and a cone. It's priced at 432 yen, which is a bit high, but I guess it's expected in a department store basement. I sat on a nearby bench and ate it. I prefer a richer texture, but I find it easy to eat.

I usually order gelato, but this time I tried a iced cafe latte. I thought they would just mix milk with pre-made iced coffee, but they actually made it with a machine. It was delicious and comparable to coffee chain stores. Thank you for the meal.

On a certain holiday in Sapporo, during a period of resilience, I passed by a gelato shop in Tokyu Department Store basement where customers were always seen relaxing with ice cream in hand. The seats were empty this time, so I took the opportunity to rush in. It was a gelato shop in the basement of Tokyu Department Store. As Tokyo also reached Step 3, Sapporo seemed to be getting busier, but where did everyone go? The underground area was not too crowded, which was convenient for me personally, but it might be the worst for the department store. So, on this day, I decided to try the new releases that seemed to have colorful appearances from the menu - "Kiwi" and "Strawberry Mille-feuille" in a "Double" serving (626 yen). Wow, I didn't realize it was quite expensive when I ordered it without knowing... Oh, I remember now, the famous gelato shop in Sapporo was around the same price. Now, let's take a bite... Hmm, the Kiwi had a distinct kiwi flavor with a light acidity and strong sweetness, as expected. Next, the Strawberry Mille-feuille was surprisingly cold! Despite not feeling sensitive to cold after the Kiwi, this one was cold, with a strong milky taste, almost no acidity, a hint of strawberry flavor, and occasionally a biscuit-like texture. Personally, I felt it was quite expensive, but I hope things will return to their lively state soon. Thank you for the meal.

Strolling around the city center right after the New Year, feeling the need for some vitamin C after a night of heavy drinking. Noticed citrus fruits and decided to have lunch followed by a sweet treat at "Gelateria Verita" in Tokyu Department Store basement. Ordered a single scoop of black currant gelato for 432 yen, received it promptly and enjoyed it. The gelato had a refreshing acidity and delightful sweetness. The trash can was called "Bocca della Verita" (the Mouth of Truth) - a clever reference to the famous scene from "Roman Holiday". I would love to try other flavors next time. Thank you for the treat!

Nocchimu-san invited me to try Agapan-san's fried bread, but I also wanted to eat something cold. So I headed towards the area near Sapporo Station where I had been exchanging messages with this person. While wandering around the Tokyu underground area, I came across this place that sells gelato and soft serve ice cream. This time, I chose gelato, even though the flavor options were not that many, they looked delicious. I got a double scoop in a cup and walked from the 18th street to enjoy it. The chocolate gelato had a rich cocoa flavor with a nice bitter taste, and occasionally crunchy chocolate bits. The yogurt flavor was not too strong, with a gentle taste of lactic acid bacteria. The aftertaste was refreshing, making it easy to eat. Both gelato flavors were not too intense, making them light and enjoyable. It might be a good choice when you're tired from shopping. If I have the chance to come back, I might try a different menu next time. Thank you for the meal.

I was wandering around Zatsueki Station! I often come to the Tokyu underground, but I didn't know there was a gelato shop here. I was planning to get matcha, but the cassis was recommended and it had a striking color, so I went with cassis. It was incredibly sour, to the point where it made my temples ache! It was pure cassis! The impact of the cassis was intense, especially compared to the gentle flavor of the rum raisin. The rum raisin was mild in comparison, and the gelato was quite luxurious and not something you can casually eat. The cassis was truly powerful and woke me up even though I wasn't sleepy. I usually go to Tokyu, but I didn't know about this shop, so I'm glad I stopped by this time! Thank you, Wu-ta!

Blueberry Cheesecake 443 Iwase Ranch Cream Cheese Blueberry Cheesecake flavor, I think there are similar flavors out there in the world, but this gelato tastes good, I just wish it had more blueberry. I've tried ice cream from three shops in the Iwase Ranch series, but it just doesn't quite hit the mark.

Today, I am going to watch a movie. Ladies can watch for 1100 yen. You can also reserve seats online and choose your seat by facing the machine and pressing the button. The ticket lady is still the same as always, facing the machine. I'm feeling a bit down, so I'll eat something sweet before I go. I had a cup of chocolate cocoa for 330 yen. It was filled to the brim in the cup. There are chocolate chips mixed in. The taste is a gentle combination of chocolate bitterness and cocoa. Next, I'll try the rich milk soft serve. Looking forward to it. Thank you for the meal!

This is Tokyu. I had some business at Daimaru and was shopping, but I wanted to take a tea break so I brought my husband to Tokyu. It's crowded everywhere on Sunday evening. There was one person in front of us in line, and my husband asked for money and went somewhere to buy bread. He seemed to want something more filling than soft serve ice cream. I also wanted to try gelato, but this time I chose soft serve ice cream. There was a small eat-in space and luckily one seat was available so we sat there. The soft serve was smooth and had a strong milk flavor. It was delicious! But it made me thirsty. My husband bought some bread from somewhere and was eating it, but it wasn't that great. If we come again, I'll try the gelato. Thank you for the meal.

I revisited a number of shops. This time, I ordered a Coffee Float (486 yen). The soft serve ice cream was vanilla, smooth and delicious. The coffee was from a reputable tea house, so it was strong and paired well with the soft serve. However, it was disappointing that the ice cubes were large. There used to be tarts and cakes available, but it seems they weren't selling well as the display case was gone. Thank you for the meal.

In the past, they only sold gelato and soft serve ice cream, but now they also offer drinks like coffee. I ordered a double scoop of gelato, one of which was sakura flavor. It tastes like sakura mochi, refreshing and to my liking. I often choose matcha as the other flavor, which is slightly bitter and intense. Thank you for the meal.
